Good day Galaxy Y Duos user, today I am here sharing something new for all. Since my galaxy Y had been hard bricked I came to a friend and mod his Duos(why not?). After 1 week of using duos, here are the things I made. A stock ROM Redux of mine for Duos. I want this to be a so called ROM but therefore I have no time because my friend need the phone now. So I simply didnt theme it and give this mod incomplete. But will try to update the mod if I have spare time, Sorry.
I use baseband DXMD1 because I am not familiar with YDuos. And one thing, this only works in DEODEXED STOCK ROM

Instruction of installation:
Make sure you are on stock deodex first. If you are not then try to reach post #2 first I recommend usin DXMD1 as baseband because I made it usin it.
1. Go to recovery by shutting down your phone and hold the volume up button and home menu and press power button to go to RECOVERY.
2. Wipe data/cache
3. Flash the Zip files stock recovery or clockworkmod recovery.
4. Reboot your phone.

OmG nice..!!! have u tested the lockscreens? do they work well. bcoz before 2 devs had made it and we all got constant reboots. just u see the lockscreen and it reboots doesnt even unlock so we had to reflash the rom.. my way i added the of lidroid-parts.apk and android-policy widout ls and then boot it worked. but lockscreens dont rest mods are good. look at my systemui thread

The lockscreen working perfectly. I had modified some smali in it, I think it stable. Id check it for a lon time to work. But the dual sim on lockscreen never works. only one sim is seen at the carrier. dude check my guide at general section I think it might help you.

Buddy its not that no one sees. Its that there is less traffic.in y duos. And ppl are buying new fones. And do u know smalli? I need a help and abt the ui chooser how to open it. U changed the manifest to not be seen in launcher. And can I flash this on custom Rom? Does it include any framework res mod? Coz currently I don't wanna lose my framework..

after i flash this mod. setup wizzard always force close. then i flash again the stock dmx.,. flash again ur mod w/out wipe data/cache and works fine.,, but in status bar..flashlights always force close.

Dude ur mod is very good don't worry. And thanks for ui chooser. And small bugs I know u will fix. Just w8 some time i will theme ur mod to a sexy small stock Rom. It will be team work.
Buddy I was currently using ur lenox v2.2 systemui .And when I selected ur toggle ui mod and then classic ui mod in ui chooser I am not getting my lenox v2.2 statusbar back. Wat to do? Shall flash old 1 again? Can I get ui chooser app and systemui source ?

I have added more soft keys to mine, all u need to do is edit the systemui.APK
The problem I'm having is that A) the from I'm using will not work with apktool in any way shape or form, B) when I did get it to work on one of the nightly builds of EOS I could not get the icons to stay symmetrical,
How every if u want to try for yourself read up on Modding the soft keys for ics,
I've written a few tuts on it over at rootzwiki, just search my user name over there and u will find them, its all in the galaxy nexus cmda thread.

There are a few, note the few difference between tab and phone is the nav bar is the soft key location on phone and its status bar on tab,
Also search android event key code and u can simple replace the key code that is called when u press a soft key, change a few pngs and presto new soft keys

OK, its rather easy...almost easier to do from tab, using any root file manager just copy the apks from /system/ app and framework to your SD card and use dropbox( free app from marketplace) long press on the file and send select drop box and upload, one uploaded open drop box click on file and select option share, then copy link. Then paste link in thread,
Also need to know what nightly or version rom

Most of the zip files include menu and search so wont be a problem. I will include extra icons in any that need it if this mod works.

i have perviousely made them as update zips, which would completely replace your systemui
so any mods that i dont inculde would be bye bye, however thats why i am playing with the zip themer, never used it so a little learning curve to make zips for it and what not, but il get u guys covered

- copy LGSettings3_1.apk than paste it to /system/app with any root explorer. don't install it , just copy and replace existing one.change the root permission
- copy IcyEye.apk to SD card and install it like any other app.

hi m8! if u asking about settings than u need to do backup of existing so u can revert it like it was before.
about icyeye theme if u don't like it just apply original one from theme chooser and u will have stock look again.

Hi! first of all nice work and second do you think there is a way to change that awful white background in settings with something like cm 10 or even stock gb?
That cyan on black theme in gb sure looked nice but it got freakin' whithe with ics update and it's just hard to look at (for me at least).

yes i notice that for edit button. i will look at it.
and for notification bar, it's semi transparent so, when there isn't app u will see black , otherwise because of semi transparent u will notice gray ( usually its main white background ).
i will upload one with black notific.

Firstly I don't think it will work on miui. Even if it worked your status bar look will completely change and will not match with ur rom

Already tried to implement brightness slider .didnt worked. Maybe compiling problem. On saturday and sunday i have to go to coaching. Will try to do tommorrow.but it works on cm10

I have tested it just remove the theme and try again. Make sure ur rom is not odexed

Do a Google search for reloaded ics...works but looks bad and lags a bit ...I am trying to port the ligux 14 toggles to aosp but its way too incompatible a it was originally made for gb

I can make but smali files used in this guide are taken from guides only. So maybe posting the same guide violate the rules of XDA.
Moreover I have already made it for most ROMs for mini then why u want to make it urself

because this file and the one i made are all the same, it couldn't start at all, may be you just needn't to make the guide but please provide link to files like working smali files and the tools you used

Hi guys I just want to share with you all this awesome status bar i made. Not really i guess
Ofcourse, this is my new post/thread. Sorry im not that good.
So what i did is i moded and fused the simplicity v3.5 to simplicity v5 status bar.
Works only on SIMPLICITY V5 or any Lidroid ROMS!!
Download and Screenshots are attached below.
Installation:
1. Goto CWM recovery
2. Flash notification.zip
3. Reboot
4. Done!!
