I've searched for this a lot now and I can't seem to find a answer anywhere (unless my eyesight is going bad) HTC one max has a dual camera feature. Would it be possible to port it to the HTC one? Since it's pretty much same just bigger.

Hey guys I'm not meaning to troll at all im just very curious as to the motive of this phone or what is exactly different from the original incredible (besides bands) that makes it worth the cost of a recent new phone. If I remember right both this and the incredible 2 have similar processor speed and slightly different screen size and ffc? Are these correct? Sorry and if I'm missing something please correct me. If you consider me being a jack ace feel free to ignore this.

If I remember it right, Incredible S and Incredible 2 are essentially the same phone but they're for different 3G networks.
Basically Incredible S is a modified version of Desire HD with more compact screen and better battery life.
And I feel more satisfied with my vivid purchase now. Imo the one x is better but only slightly and of course weaker when it comes to a removable battery and sd slot. The screen imo looks as nice as ours, it does seem clearer but probably because of the higher resolution and larger size. Sense 4.0 isn't much different from 3.6, other than widget previews and some graphic changes. The button layout quite frankly sucks, and not having a dedicated search button is annoying. If I was still using my captivate today I might of grabbed one instead of the vivid but I certainly don't regret it now.

Put it this way if I had to decide now I might choose the one x but it didn't make me regret my decision. Better but not better enough

+1. I'll also stay with my Vivid.
I was worried about trying it thinking I might regret it but yeah I'll stick with the vivid, it's over 30 days anyway so not like I have a choice lol

Broke my screen couple of days ago. Searching for digitizer since then on ebay, amazon and etc. Can't find proper one, all of them have Droid DNA or ordinary Butterfly.
Any ideas where I can get one? maybe Taiwanese site?
Thanks!
That sucks. Sorry to hear bro.

ouch that really sucks...
I wonder if Butterfly/Droid DNA's digitizer is compatible, they seem to be almost the same screen, but there are some slight differences though and this may simply be explained by different OEMs. (GSMArena's tests show quite a lot of similarities between Butterfly and Butterfly s screens)
Problem is the that Butterfly doesn't have a second speaker, thus shape of screen is different
I saw etradesupply.com has the screen assembly, you could give it a check

Hello every one.
So everyone heard about motion gestures.
I have sense 6 toolbox, and there is an option to have the same features.
But unlike m8, this will use the actual touch screen while the screen is turned off.
Which means that the touch screen will always be activated (24/7)
My question is : will this damage the touch screen? Or its normal for the screen to be activated all the time?
I would really like to have this feature but I'm afraid that it will damage my phone.

On the M8 how do you think is working without the touchscreen? It's not having nothing special, the touchscreen is on even on M8.
And Yes you will not broke your touchscreen.

I'm asking this question because in HTC's website, it says that it works by built in sensors...
But it doesn't make sense, so I created this thread...

It's working with touch screen on and with the Accelerometer on M8 (to force you to put the phone in vertical position).
What HTC is telling us is only marketing, publicity........ and so on.
Why do you think that they don't put this feature in M7? They must say that the M8 is more advanced because is having some magical new sensors only to sell.

I'm going to buy HTC One for gaming and I wonder, if it's good enough. Shouldn't I better buy One M8, or also wait for a new flagship? (I mean HTC only, cause I want an alluminium phone.)
My M7 is more than adequate for gaming. Quite good actually.
