wasnt it supposed to drop a few weeks ago? anyone got the dirt on this?
I grow more frustrated with bloo and babbler everyday. Need a real solution!
You and me both
just use the mobile facebook page, it's better than any app I've ever come across anyway.
There's actually two versions:
x.facebook.com - better version, possibly the iPhone version. My Magic currently defaults to this no matter which url I enter.
m.facebook.com - slightly inferior, suited to WM & Symbian

Those are both pretty good, but can't seem to make status comments on the iphone version.
m.facebook.com is better but i just get redirected to iphone version.
You can indeed set a status on the iPhone version, you simply press "status" which appears in the blue bar at the top left

Yes, but try comenting on someones status.. or replying to someone that commented on your status
Oh sorry, misread...I thought you said you can't add a status of your own.
Yeah I can't seem to find how to comment either actually but you can go to the m.facebook site by clicking "Mobile site" at the bottom of the page. That stops the default to x.facebook that you get by typing them in the address bar

Ah nice, it is working. Last time I tried it just kept redirecting me. Hmm.. perhaps I didn't press that link
its aggravating that because of google and facebook hating eachother they're taking it out on their customers! oh well hopefully they figure this out soon.
i was under the impression that google had sent an android engineer to facebook to help them sort it out quicker.

ahahha man that guy must feel like a total douche bag
The lack of an official facebook app was the only thing that shocked me. I just got my MT3G two days ago and that was pretty upsetting considering even the Blackberry FB app was pretty nice.
Maybe t-mobile will be releasing a facebook app for their mytouch.

That's not an official facebook app, just a facebook sync app htc made.
ahh, ok. I seen that and thought maybe there was going to be a facebook app that worked in conjunction with the phone or something.
Good question.
I'm sick of Babbler and Bloo.
Those are crap, in my opinion.
FACEBOOK FTW!!!
I was fortunate enough to get a beta copy of the official app... guys all I can say is wow, this is gonna blow the iphone app out the water!!!
It's on the same level if not above. It does everything your desktop version does , chat is enabled. It was a beta and was still a little bit slow but you can get a general idea of where they are going with the app
Dont know if I'm allowed to post screenshots??
Well I managed to get over 120 people in, so that was a success. Google have now taken my invite button away, so no more invites, I'm afraid.
Sorry to shout, but I've started to get pm's now asking for invites.
Okay, I've edited the 1st post cos I realised it will just disappear if there's no posts on it and I want to invite as many people as possible. Google+ is looking VERY good at the moment and the more people we can get in the better!
Thanks that was quick

You're welcome mate
Not many people taking up the offer, so it's easy to keep track of, and everyone seems to be getting in straight away as well. Win!
Thanks for the quick invite, but I just get a button that says "Learn more about Google+" and when clicked takes you to screen that tells you it is in limited Beta and offers to keep you posted. So are invites closed already or am I missing something?
thanks, just input my email address and was invited. But how to use g+?

My invitation had a link that said something like "View or comment on post »" and I used that to sign up.
If that's not working then just keep the email and try every now and then, but they were definitely accepting invites very recently.

I'm sure I don't need to tell you to google for info on how to use google+
There's not much to it, once you get going.
Just applied Thanks in advance!

Got the invite, thank you very much! But:
Google+ is in limited Field Trial
At the moment, we're testing with a small number of people, but it won't be long before the Google+ project is ready for everyone. Leave us your email address and we'll make sure that you're the first to know when we're ready to invite more people.

I guess they must have their own criteria as to who gets in then, unless you just keep trying. Most of the people I invite are getting in straight away.
If I could help, I would.

I saw somewhere that there's a workaround for Google+ invites not working; I can't confirm this or anything, obviously... anyway, I think the article said that if you share something with a friend (i.e. you put in their e-mail address to share it), then it'll send out an e-mail to the thing you shared (like a post on your "wall" or whatever it's called), and then you can sign up. Just speculation, dunno if it works or not ^^
And yeah, I used my gmail account.

That's a very good point. Most of the people that are posting their email addresses to the spreadsheet are using gmail or googlemail addresses. There's only a few that haven't so maybe that's a deciding factor. I suppose it would make some sense, while it's still in beta.
Edit: Just saw Breece's post above. This obviously isn't the case.
Well i do know that given the amount of data that flows through these forums and looking at the G+ forum i can tell that there is land slide of people who are more than wanting to try G+. But no only try but to improve the UI, Although it's new on the market how log before the users here rip it apart and bulid it anew to a more viable app?...... after all it is android tech based off the same methodology, i can honestly say that i am excited for what's to come from the brilliance that this sight does inspire!!!!
It's hard to say how long it would take to see "alternatives" but I happen to like the program as-is. I am curious to see how Google develops this as it rolls out the service to the greater public.
there will always be the alternative apps but I doubt well see any before the official google+ is released. Id really like to be able to see your sparks on the mobile app. Im just excited for google+ in general, if the majority switch over, FB are gonna have a lot of problems and they already know it considering they are trying to update all of their stuff before G+ is finally released
Can someone please send me an invite?
Sent from my Samsung Epic using latest ACS Syndicate rom.
PM me your email address and I'll send you one
I would love a G+ app for windows phone. I have been trying to get onto the g+ signup but keep erroring.
I like the G+ app. Its clean and not buggy for being in beta still. Its not buggy for me anyway. I don't have alot of my friends on it yet ,but I'm slowly but surely sending out the invites. If anyone wants a invite just PM me your gmail address
G+ mobile app is great. Only downside is most friends sticking to the current mainstream social networking sites, so limited circles and streams! I like the 'nearby' proximity feed, pretty interesting to see what folks are up to. Kind of like a fly on the wall.

Has anyone figured this out with the Note 5? I tried and it says to sign into YT to verify. I do that & it says I'm enabled for this feature and then nothing happens.
UPDATE: DomEsposito provides a perfect step-by-step here! http://9to5google.com/2015/08/21/ho...youtube-live-streaming-already-enabled-error/
Same thing happens here. Apparently it will only allow you to stream from your main Gmail address account. So if you have a sub account under your main Gmail account, you can't stream from it. Basically if I want to stream from the camera app, the only way to do so is to create a channel under my main account. Hopefully there's some kind of fix in the works.

Yeah I'll post it on 9to5Google (I write there), but it's just silly that there are so many restrictions/hassles when trying to post here. It's really why I never even bother with this forum stuff. Just stupid rules and admins that are always power-trippin lol. Sorry if that's not you specifically, but the fact that I'm prohibited from contributing to this community in a positive way is absolutely lame. I never usually try to post here because I know this kind of stuff is an issue. And now, I'll never try again lol. Look out for the fix on 9to5Google DOT COM. (Avoiding lame forum spam catcher lol)

Thanks for the write up Dom, I'll check it out on 9to5Google. Always find your reviews on YT to be top notch.
Updated the original post with Dom's article. Worked perfectly for me.
Now some questions about how this works. Seems I can only invite contacts in my list and they're phone numbers only? I assume this means you can't view the livestream on the desktop.
I'm going to test the viewer end of this later at home with my wife's phone.
