Just to be sure you understood how to boot into download mode, look those videos (Vdeos aren't mine)

I know its download mode but doesnt do anything when its hooked up to odin u left it for over 15 minutes

Odin doesnt pick it up in download mode only emergency download mode but still doesnt work I even left it for over 15 minutes on odin. I take it the download mode with just yellow writing is cyanogenmod download mode as It used to be like this

I'm on .141 firmware and flash back to stock and re-root my T a lot (mess with system files and get into bootloops sometimes).
But this time going to root I am stuck on the display test (white screen). The script just hangs there. Never happened to me before. I have endlessly searched and found no solution but have seen that other people have had this problem.
I have no other adb programs open.
I have tried going into the service menu by myself and then pressing enter but to no avail.
Any ideas?
You have to press restore on your phone..
Or if this doesn't work use bin4ry or doomloreds methods
Turn on mtp mode with usb debugging I had this problem because I was in msc mode

USB debugging and MTP mode are both on. I just can't figure what's wrong! It's really annoying me.
I'll try a different computer and see if anything changes.

What program are you using? Try root and restore by bin4ry or flashtool or doomlords rooting toolkit

I'm on the last knoxraid...and safestrap says it's installed but won't reboot from the app...and rebooting manually normal, or into recovery doesn't work. Actually rebooting recovery goes to stock recovery, and rebooting shows the Samsung screen, then seemingly turns off. I have to hold down the power button to boot it.
Any suggestions? Should I try the whole safestrap install from scratch?

Mj5 restore. Also when you get it up and running. Don't go back to that rom! !

Follow to a T, you'll be on mj5. I think you're trying to flash mi9 firmware from the rdlv method but you're on a2 bl already.

looks like your using safestra 3.75 on a JB rom, you need the 3.70 safestrap for JB
How can I put the proper version on or put a rom on? Heimdall still is not working

when you boot into safe strap verify what version safestrap is,
if it is 3.75 then you need to install a KK version of rom, if it is 3.70 then you will have to install a JB rom
also what is your goal? keeping Bootloader A2 or getting the latest NC2 which is bootloader A3
I would like the latest. NC2

First try N900AUCUCMLG 4.4.2 KitKat install one click version
then with Odin 3.09 (attached) install N900AATTCNC2_KERNEL.tar.md5.zip Kernel so towel root will work, then install busybox then safestrap 3.75
that should get you going so you can install any custom AT&T KitKat rom
Last option to get you going, but it installes A3 bootloader
[ROM][GUIDE][ROOT][AT&T][NC2_Bootloader][N900A MGL KITKAT][Stuck Download-Mode FIX]
I finally got it working thanks everyone
