[Q] SRS, DOLBY and equalizer audio ?

Hello HTC SENSATION XL users.
The reason why i bought a Sensation XL, it ' s because i discover its rom by installing the RUNNYMEDE SENSATION XL on my HTC HD2 (i have found it on XDA in the HD2 section). in the audio adjustement, It was possible to enable DOLBY, SRS, BEATS, or to chose an effect in a equaliser (Rock, Pop,....). it was verry good.
Now in my real HTC SENSATION XL, i can choose only BEATS audio effect (with the headset) but nothing else. Do someone have the same desapointment, or thind a solution to enable or install this audio effect? thanks you in advance.

just flash a custom rom and those options will be there

[Q] HTC FX? (Sound Enhancement)

I tested the "Three Musketeer Sense 4.0 Final Beta" and saw in Poweramp (2.0.6) (Stock player wasn't working) that there is an option called "HTC FX".
It is the extended sound enhancement menu where i can choose my headset and i think it sounds a bit better (i really like it). In this ROM appears also the Beats Audio notification in poweramp. I think that's because the player now can access the stock sound enhancement. (The sound enhancement is also in the phone settings... in english it just should be called Sound or tone)
My question is:
Can I paste (or whatever) the HTC One (or 3 Musketeer Sense 4.0) sound enhancement to any custom ROM for my SXL? It needn't to be the HTC One sound enhancement, I just want that there's a HTC FX option in Poweramp and I'm sure that's because the sound enhancement in the ROM.
it like this ROM, but i don't like the sd mounting and black menu bar sometimes at the bottom. that's why i want to take this to another ROM til this is fixed in future.
If you look at the screenshots, you probably see that this is not english^^
Translation: Klangverbesserung = Sound Enhancement

that is a new improvement for sense 4. Beats would work with any player (stock/3rd party). if you want to improve the sound quality, just head to htc one X thread (app/theme) and search for sound sound improvement there. It work for our SXL. but not sure for version 8 and above. But this only work for sense 4 and it can only be use with sense 4 rom. so you can't copy paste it into sense 3.6 rom.

[Q] Volume Reduction (Yes, reduction...)

Morning all,
probably not an issue with most people, but often I want to watch some videos, or the highlights in the gallery and I find that the lowest volume is at too high a level.
Is there anyway of overall reducing the system output level without root and/or custom rom? Would appreciate any thoughts to help out

Turning off beats reduces the volume.

try downloading the equalizer app or any setting app that has the capability of adjusting the volume.

Agreed, the lowest volume is too loud. Will try some EQ apps, Btw is there a toggle for beats audio?

Yes, the toggle is in the top level in the settings, as in not in a sub menu. I did try to disable beats but to my ears it didn't make any difference, or at least not enough.
I thought that equalisers were tied to a particular player app, rather than system wide, but will see if I can find any.

I wasn't talking about the equalizer option of any music player What I mean was the app "Equalizer" from google play

[Q] Sound Enhancement replacing sony sound proccessing with dspmanager

Is there anyway to remove sony's sound enhancement and replace it with DSPmanager on stock sony roms?..

If it is sound volume you are looking for then just flash pure sound v14 in developing thread

1-will your app/mod (...v.14)solve the unwanted volume normalizer while listening to full-bass songs?i mean sudden breakdown of sound level just when the drum blows it up.has everybody experienced this ever? i hate it and would apprciate any solutions ..
2-i myself would preffer stock sony sound enhancement over Dsp ,how sombody would deny that?its amazing indead.

SRS: When headphones are in, surround sound effect (virtual 5.1 chanel), background sound much clearer.
Dolby Mobile: Deep bass, more clearer sound, DSR value increased(much more deeper).
Beats audio: .......
