Differences between official CM and FreeXperia ? - Sony Xperia ZR

From my understanding FreeXperia is the official maintainer for CyanogenMod... But they also publish different links on their own website :
* http://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=dogo
* https://sites.google.com/site/projectfreexperia/download/cyanogen-mod-11
Are there differences between the packages? Which gives best support?

[Q]CM 10.x / 11 builds. any stable?

i understand there is no official cm support for XSP yet. i also know that freexperia project has cm versions for XSP.
i'd like to ask which of the cm versions in the FXP site is considered a stable build. are there any bugs? or which funtionalities are missing?
because there aren't any details of the ROM versions in the FXP site.
Thank you very much

Well, they all are initial released and they will all come with BUGS which you can live with. However, if you still want to flash it, just flash the latest version as in every NEW version bugs are fixed and performance is improved!
I will suggest wait a bit and you will soon have a stable CM for your phone!
Good Luck

[Q] doubts about versions

Hello people.
What are the differences between the latest cyanogenmod nightlies and the latest cyanogenmod pershoot?
Thanks
Nightlies will have generic cm11 updates. I suspect pershoot cherry picks the ones he wants for our device tree.
Nightlies are not considered stable releases.

when i post a build (on droidbasement) its for testing device specific work prior to it being included in to mainline (nightlies, milestones, etc.).

Current state of CM12

Hey,
I am unable to find a list of what's working and what still isn't for the CyanogenMod nightlies.
Also, which codename do we use? In the free xperia project website, I see that the codename is "aries", but at other sites I see the CM12 nightlies to be labelled "z3c".
My phone is the Z3 Compact D5803 model, so do I look for the "z3c" or "aries" .
Thanks

Questions regarding CM for Razr i

Hi,
I have some question regarding Hazou's CM port for the XT890:
Why is there no official CM for the Razr i? (There seem to be CM port's for practically every other Moto phone)
What does it mean that the port is "inofficial" as opposed to "official"?
Is the source code of the CM port publicly available?
Thanks in advance!
Cheers

1. Because I am not an official maintainer and the device needs external patches to be fully functional
2. See 1
3. Yep, the cyanogenmod sources are on github and mine as well. U can make a perfect copy on your device if u use the cyanogenmod sources with parts of my sources.

Looking for CM Rom

Hi,
Since CM site closure, where can I find Official CM nightly rom ?
Are CM Rom compatible for Madagascar ?
Thank you for your help
Philbec
CyanogenMod is discontinued, there are no more updates. Unofficial releases can still be updated through the normal means, if the developer chooses to continue support. LineageOS is the new Cyanogen. It's available for most popular flagships and previous flagships. I don't think there's one for this phone. You can always look into compiling one yourself, though!
