[Q] Moto X Front-face Camera settings - Moto X Q&A

Is there a way to have the photos that you take automatically with the front-face camera to flip?

I doubt it. It's only one button tap tho. Isn't it?

disable vibration ?

how disable the vibration at the beginning boot/reboot moto x?
I'd really like to be able to do this too. Vibrating while powering on or powering off is completely pointless to me. I've searched but haven't found any solutions.

Why does it bother you so much? Do you feel like it's draining the battery? How often are you powering on and off your Moto X?

Dt2w

Is it possible to add double tap to wake on the stock ROM? My wife likes the moto display but its overly sensitive to any movement (even walking too close will turn it on sometimes). I turned the ambient display on but its not the same because you need to push the power button. I have the Nexus 6 Andi know dt2w as coded into the software but doss something similar exist for the Moto X yet? She has the Pure Edition of the phone running lollipop. I tried to search around but I only found mods for the old Moto X via google and the forum search.

Disable Moto Display awakening with vibrations?

Exists a way to disable the Moto Display of awakening with vibrations?
Any little vibration on the desk makes the moto display to awake, it is annoying me.

Unchecked vibrate on touch under moto display
Sent from my XT1097 using XDA Free mobile app
What I mean to say is, my phone is in a desk, then a small vibration like putting my elbow in the desk, makes the Moto Display to awake.
It's annoying because I have to look to the phone to check if is not an message, and is not, just the super sensitive Moto Display.

Go into the app drawer and you will see the Moto icon. Touch that to open it then up at the top is a gear touch that. You can turn off active display entirely by touching display and unchecking moto display.
You also can try turning off Approach for Moto Display in the Actions to see if that helps if you don't want to turn off the moto display entirely.
I already had tried that, but I it only makes me lost the approach to awake. It continues to awake with vibration, but way less.
I wanted the Moto Display to have the approach but not the vibration sensor.
I've had searched for a service for disable but to no avail.
Hummm, maybe with xprivacy...

Moto G 3rd Gen

Hello guys,
The Moto G 3rd Gen is out and it has some pretty nice gestures inherited from the Moto X (e.g. Double Twist for Camera, and Double Chop for LED).
Does it have any special sensor to make those gestures possible with no battery drain nor wakelocks, or would it be possible to port to the Moto G1, G2?
Use Tasker.

[REQ] Apk that makes the proximity sensor activates the screen

When I have a Moto g 2013, I installed CM12.1 and the proximity sensor works very well, I want to know if exists some app that can make the screen go on simply shaking the hand in front of the screen as well it works in CM12.1 for our beloved Moto G 2013

You mean something like: Gravity Screen On/Off ?
I still use this on my Moto X Play (running CM13). If you decide to use this one, big tip: disable the "Turn Screen On By Motion" setting, it's a battery killer. Also, this doesn't play nice with Smart Lock (at least not for me).

I mean something like the IR sensor... On Moto G with CM12.1 there was this function, when your hand came near the proximity sensor, the screen goes on.

It would be hard to implement this feature on the Moto X Play, since it doesn't have an IR sensor... I think GravityScreen will be the closest thing to it.

The app I suggested will do that. There's actually several apps that will do this on the Play Store.
