Universal dark holo background patch for cm roms - Galaxy Tab 2 Themes and Apps

Here is a universal patch to fix the flickering background in the settings menu and other applications that call the dark holo background from framework-res.apk. This changes the background_holo_dark resource by removing the gradient coloring and replacing it with solid colors. Also included in the patch below is a change to replace the color gradient in the progress bar with more of a dark holo theme.
I have also made a universal binary patch that you can apply using clockworkmod.
These patches should work for both P3100 and P311x on CM10.2 and CM11.
The clockworkmod patch script that I used will decompile the framework-res.apk on your device and replace only two small XML files inside it with patched ones in binary form. Those XML files don't seem to change much so that is why the patch works for cm10.1, cm10.2, and cm11 for all devices. Those XML files don't contain any device specific code so it works for everyone.
1) I removed the "gradient" color options in progress_horizonal.xml and replaced them with "solid" color tags. The previous gradient progress bar had a bevel look to it that reminded me of HTC Sense. The progress bar should look "flat" like holo is supposed to be.
2) I matched the color scheme of the main progress bar with the same color scheme as the mini progress bar shown in the quick panel.
Attached below are screen shots of the mini quick panel progress bar and also the new color scheme of the main progress bar so you can see how they now match.

MetaMorph Theme - Notification Bar

So, I used the AXMLPrinter2.jar to turn the status_bar_item_background.xml to a human readable file. Then I put it into my MetaMorph zip, and it's causing reboot looping.
I wanted to know whom knows where to make the Notification Bar transparent. It seems there is a color hex some where in an xml because after I made a transparent png there was still a black background...

Please help with thme

I am trying to edit a theme and have bumped into two problems involving font color.
1) notification bar fonts needs to be black but is white
2) "menu" font needs to be white but is black/gray
(see pictures)
Can someone experienced in changing the colors change it for me? the framework and twframework is attached (i don't know which needs editing). I know it involvs xml edit but don't know how to do it. Thanks
Follow this instructions http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=9664604&postcount=77 and for the notifications text color you need to edit framework-res/res/layout/status_bar_latest_event_content.xml.

[Q] Edit MIUI theme

Just wondering if there's a simple way to edit a MIUI theme? I have Formel's MIUI Mod (now known as KelLMSKing, but I'm still running Formel's last one), and I downloaded the Dark Blue theme from the new one. I like certain aspects of the theme, but other aspects of the original one so I've mixed and matched the two themes for what I like .. almost. The last change I'd like to make: How can I edit the font colour in the pulldown notification bar?
Fixed.. sort of
I fixed this.. sort of.
I downloaded a dark theme that would have the black pulldown notification bar, then when I installed it I de-selected everything (fonts, icons, lockscreen, etc) and selected only the "Theme" which makes the text in the notification easy to read and actual usable checkboxes.
Posting this in case it helps anyone else.

Fixed status bar colour

With the new Lollipop update, the status bar colour should change to match the colour of the currently opened app. However, on my Z3 Compact it seems to be blue in every single app.
Does anyone know what to do about this?
Btw, I'm not rooted or anything, just received this phone today.
the blue bar is the default [fallback] colour of your theme, if you open YouTube [for instance] you'll see the bar is red rather than blue, so for the apps that have a blue bar it's either because the dev made it blue, or there's no bar colour definition and it falls back to default.
if you don't like the blue colour, try and changing your theme to something else [different themes, different bar settings]

[Q] module to lock status bar color in lollipop

hello, is there a xposed module that can lock the color of the status bar in Lollipop
apps change it to red, blue, green, yellow, pink, purple...
i searched the repo but its only about changing color of status bar to match apps :|
i mostly set dark theme in apps... but some apps change the status bar color regardless... so i just want to not let apps change status bar color...
thanks..
Dear all Xposers,
I need to do the same, however, I couldn't find a solution.
I've read that "Flat style colored bars" mod does that, but it's not free so can someone confirm this?
Thank you
