[Q] CyanogenMod 10.2 official nightlies - Galaxy S III I9305 (4G LTE + 2GB RAM) Q&A, Help &

I am using this ROM for a while, from what i noticed the camera is way too bad when compared to Samsung(stock) based ROM's.I tried different AOSP ROM's but still can't get satisfied,it lacks HDR mode and it is known fact that google has always not been able produce a good camera app.
Is there a way i can use the Samsung camera in a AOSP ROM like extracting a Samsung based ROM and using the app or any good idea are most welcome.

[Q] [REQ] Porting Cyanogenmod Camera to MIUI Rom

Hello,
I love the MIUI Rom but also the CyanogenMod. One thing that is missing from the MIUI Rom is a better program for the camera. The camera of CyanogenMod rom is excellent.
My question is:
Is it possible to adapt the camera from CyanogenMod Rom to MIUI rom to take advantage of new options ?
I know that kernel's cyanogenmod works on MIUI ROM. I have tried to replace the camera apk with those libraries libcamera.so, libcamera_client.so, libcameraservices.so, liboemcamera.so but it doesn't work, appears a FC.
Do anyone know how adapt the Camera?
Thanks.
Bump. Rod Mod now includes the working libs for the CM 6 Cam
Sent from my Nexus One using XDA App
any luck with this?

[REQ]Sony Camera for Custom ROM

Hey i have a question Is it possible to use the normal stock sony camera App, while usig the Paranoid rom?
I really love this rom but the stock google cam takes really ****ty pics
Hey,
Firstly, I believe the Sony camera would require the Sony framework...so no - you wouldn't be able to use that camera on a non-Sony based rom.
Secondly, there's a Paranoid Rom for the Xperia Z??
:good:
Edit: Found the PA thread.

[Q] Photosphere on CM/AOSP roms.

Hi, after going through many TW ROMs, I've decided to try an AOSP/CM one, namely Jelly Beer 4.20 with the latest NX Kernal. I was hoping that going for a 4.2.2 ROM would get me the famous photosphere camera, but apparently not. I've tried several photosphere camera apks and zips floating around, but none of them has worked yet.
Is there a way to get a working photosphere camera on the N7000 ?

[Q] Google Edition Roms

Hi Xda Forum
I was wondering will the google edition based roms ever have tweaks like cm10,aokp, etc with the stability of the stock google edition rom because in most aosp roms the front facing camera has a green tint and overall rom is not as stable also something like nfc don't work and the scrolling isnt as smooth
CM, AOKP and GE are all distinctly different ROMs and are unlikely to merge. So no, the GE editions ROMs will never be like CM or AOKP because then guess what... they'd be CM or AOKP!

Click to collapse
I didn't ask if they would ever merge lol I asked if Google edition roms will ever get any kind of tweaks, aokp and cm were just examples of stock aosp roms with mods to the system.
Do you even bother to do 30 seconds research before asking stupid questions?
No need to be rude...but im aware of all of the GE ROMs out currently and none of them compare to the aosp roms out when it comes to customization that's what I'm looking for
I agree the AOSP based ROMs for HTC One (CyanogenMod, Paranoid Android, etc.) are still pretty buggy. I'm seeing battery drain, Google sync problems, camera tint, and font rendering issues.
I think it's still a bit early for AOSP-based ROMs (builds compiled from source) for the HTC One. It doesn't help that Google and/or HTC haven't released all the needed source and binary blobs. So for now we have buggy builds from source, or more solid builds from the GE dumps but with far less customization.
There is one GE ROM you might try that offers a few more tweaks via a secondary flashable zip: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=39184446&postcount=3

Best rom for camera...

Hello there folks! I just got a Z1 and I'm looking for ROM recommendations... If possible a ROM with camera2 support... As the device is both old and popular, there is a lot of ROMs, and I tried some, but the newer ones seems to have some buggy camera support.
Any help, info, tip or info is greatly appreciated!
use slim rom 5.1.1 or cm 12.1 both uses 20 mp of the device
but to get best results stock rom wins
for using camera use stock rom or dstrikerz1 kai
