i installed this kernal and can no longer get root. Are you having this problem. I am on kaspers Omni rom as well.
I had the same issue and had to re-flash the rom. Looking at the file, it looks to be for CM based rome only.
Most if not all modern aosp Roms like aokp, pacman, and others use the same kernel source. I am using a cm10.2 based rom on my tablet but, a kernel should not effect superuser. What errors are you getting? Have you tried updating Superuser or supersu which ever one is installed?
When I tried to run Titanium Backup, but it kept telling me that it did not have root.
I tried installing and updating each of the Superuser and SuperSU separately without success. When I re-flashed the PAC 4.3 rom, things went back to normal.

No you may request, but I have a very tight schedule so no guarantees.
I did find a potential bug with the fast charge implementation so please do not use that as of right now. At least until I can confirm what's going on with my end.
EDIT
Everything seems to be working for me now, but I did run into a strange issue where my phone would not turn on after charging all night with fast charge turned on at 1500ma. If anyone runs into the same issue, plug your phone into the computer until it turns on again. I will be testing this thoroughly over the next couple days.
I've been testing the kernel all day and charging it with fast charge on and off, and have not had any new issues. I believe the kernel is safe to use now, if anyone has any issues please let me know. I will continue to test this thoroughly and will provide ant new information I have.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
v0.2 is now in testing. I have been running this build since yesterday and it seems to be stable. If I get some positive feedback I will update the OP, and if I don't hear from anyone then I will continue to test for another day and then update the thread if there are no issues.

Thanks bro, good to see u back! Kernel run's smoothly.
BTW already played around a bit with gamma control; nice to see the colour changing without having to turn screen off!
I came to 235 255 255 rgb for now but I'm kinda curious what settings do u recommend? As u tested this thoroughly

First of all thanks for your efforts.
One question before I proceed, does this kernel need specific boot loader (like mm boot loader)? Does work on AOSP based rooms, like du, aex?

Thanks for the kernel.
Did you have to do any changes to Lineage code base to get it to boot on Nougat bootloader?

Gonna give a test.
I asked cause I was unable to get my kernel to boot with Lineage source code with modifications, only the necessary changes to get it to compile when building standalone.
Worked better then others on lastest RR. Thanks! DT2W works after flashing kernel and no bootloop.
what about miui version

Thank you. There isn't any custom kernel for miui roms and there are several for non-miui roms.
Would be great to see oc, battery control, ntfs support etc on miui 9.
Thank you
