[Q] X8 No Signal after Attempted Unlock DaVinci

Hey folks
Had a heap of credit that I won over Christmas for the DaVinci unlocking site. Have nothing to unlock myself, so I said I'd use some for my brother's X8 - to unlock to all networks.
Downloaded the tool, and updated it, and then followed the instructions.
Basically it came to a point where it asked to disconnect and turn the phone on again,and then connect to the computer, which I did - it then sat on "waiting" for like 10 mins.
We tried again (I had 100 credits) and it used another 50 credits, and ended on the same part, "waiting..."
So we gave up, and it was only a little later that we noticed that his phone has "no service".
I've tried restoring stock through the PC Companion tool, and then unlocking through Flashtool, but nothing's working.
Any ideas or suggestions?
I feel pretty crappy for messing up his phone, so any advice appreciated!

First what the hack is DaVinci thing ur talking about and 2nd i think that Davinci thing messed up a lil bit your motherboard.

Davinci's the unlocking site that I used when I had older SE phones like the C905 and W995 - http : // davinciteam .eu /index .html
I've contacted them for support, but received word that the site is all automatic now, and they don't have any customer support or aftercare.
Do you think the motherboard is repairable?
Is there anything that I can do to find out?
I've the flashtool installed and have s1tool also.

I've tried restoring using both PC Companion and SEUS.
Both complete and boot no problem, but they still say no service.
I can search and find networks, but when i select any of them it says "Your sim does not allow a connection to this network" after trying to connect for about 20 seconds.

Dude, i was searching answers and you're pretty much screwed up . There is one post that talks about this I guess, but don't remember where. So, try restore to stock 2.1, fully unlock bootloader properly and flash nAa-11 (for example) and a compatible rom. Wish U luck

I've tried unlocking the bootloader with the flashtool and the msm7227 files, but neither seem to work...
I get a "protocol error" in the msm7227 way, and a "WARN Cancelled" error in the flashtool.
Is there another method to unlock the bootloader?

Do same proces again(unlocking),if is done,first relock and then flesh with seus to back again to new fresh 2.1 and then root and again do same process again but with seetol2

[Q] Unlocking Bootloader & Removing Sim Lock

Hey guys my cousin gave me his Xperia X8 to remove the SIMLOCK from. Its an Xperia X8. I found this guide however the programs included arent working for:

It says that the phone must have manufacturing code 11W28 and below and the Xperia X8 I have got it 11W22
It says run s1tool and click DO JOB. However the s1tool has been updated and when I click identify and connect Xperia X8 when turned off as well as pressing the back button nothing appears within S1Tool. So I cant continue the remaining steps.
The phone is not unlocked and runs stock SE Firmware.
FYI: I am trying to unlock the bootloader and then remove network lock. Im just saying this so you clever guys know what my objective is

Is it possible to unlock the bootloader on a network locked phone? I also have the X8 and apparantly I cannot unlock it's bootloader.

You can safely unlock the BL on yoyr phone. Here is what you have to do in order for S1tool to read your phone properly.
1. Install the Flash mode and ADB drivers for your phone. These drivers are bundled with Flashtool, just download and install Flashtool (link in dev section) and then go into the drivers folder and install. Then reboot your computer.
2. Turn off your phone. Then go into S1tool and click identify. Press and hold the back button while connecting your phone to the computer via USB cable. A green led light should appear to indicate that your phone has entered flash mode. S1tool should then start identification.

You can unlock a sim-locked phone's bootloader.

try install gordon gate drivers, and you must have PC Companion, and then you can connect phone to s1tool
1. install PCC
2. install gg-drivers
3. restart your PC
4. connect phone to s1tool

Hi guys, can somebody confirm that if I unlocked my phone by Omnius than if I unlock it with S1Tool then it will work? There are a lot of discussions about this on the net but it is not clear. On many sites written that I will lose the network signal or the radio if I do it...or the sim-lock will be restored again...So if somebody know this please write a clear answer for example:

Yes you can unlock it with Omnius without any problem or

You will not be able to unlock your BL safely with the free tools listed here if you have sim unlocked your phone with Omnius.

Bricked X8, how to repair ? (Solved!)

I've searched in the forum but i don't find solution..
Simply i relocked my bootloader with custom kernel (here is the fatal error) then i updated with SEUS to turn back at stock firmware.
Now the phone turn on and after type the sim pin, nothing appear on screen, only background with no service/radio. I can't navigate in any menu. I try repair s1boot with omnius but a testpoint cable is needed
Is there a free or pay way to repair my X8 with normal usb cable?
And what is corrupted? Trim area? S1 Boot? Thanks to all.

re-locking the bootloader on a custom kernel is... bad... but i guess you know that now
at least it still boots after re-stocking. have you tried to flash stock once more?
and if it's still not working, you've got no way to recover it yourself... (except you've got a jtag cable)

SOLVED !
First of all when i've used SEUS i think it has updated certificate because i was unable to re-unlock bootloader (unrecognized certificate instead os SEMC_simlock Certificate) when i unlocked first time some month ago with flash tool, it was semc i'm sure.
Second thing the phone was sim locked not carrier locked so it wanted his unique sim. this explain the full lost radio service. Anyway i used wotan server for unlock bootloader and sim network. maybe s1tool could work the same but i did not want to risk.

its lag, I want to downgrade to 4.1.2
1 where can I find the tft?
2 I have bootloader unlock allowed: yes , but I don't want
unlock can I downdrade without issues?
3 I need backup TA partition?
I don't now how to flash xperia only Samsung, and need
recomendation what to do with flashtool to no brick my
xperia c5302

just download FW .254 and flash by flashtool . don't unplug your phone untill flashtool done . your battery should be more than 80% . turn off your phone , after 10s you hold down volumm key 3s and connect your phone to computer .

I flashed FW.254 bt later it gets stuck on the SONY label which appers when we switch on the phone.
pls help me i want to downgrade it.

Sorry to bother you I got one Hong Kong version 4.3 c5302 now I want to downgrade to 4.1. Is there any problem if I install an Indian version? I bought it just few days ago and how do I know the bootloader is unlocked???

Need a lil help here. Im currently on firmware- 10.4.1.B.0.101 with [Root & XZDR] http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2643898 <-- via this method.. all Works sweetly.. Problem is that i want to unlock my bootloader. Ive checked in the service menu, unlocked bootloader is allowed.
I am currently trying to unlock bootloader with latest version of Flashtools(unofficial way).whilst phone is on, i connect cable, startup flashtools, it detects device. Then i click on lightningbolt icon, to unlock bootloader. menu comes up asking to remove cable, power off phone n goto flashmode.
When i get to the part where it asks to select my device, i click on xperia z. And i get a FAIL message saying i cannot officially unlock bootloader?? Do i need to be on stock .244 firmware or stock kernal to unlock ? Or am i going through it the wrong way. main reason i want unlock bootloader to install cyanagen mod11 nightly.
