Don't worry. It will work. You will be able to select a language on the first boot when you install the 4.3 firmware.

The Stock Rom for Algeria or UAE has Arabic support (JPLSB). Install with PC Odin for unrooted stock Rom.
Or use my Pristine All Languages with working Arabic Support in v2.3.

Hello everyone. I'm new to here. I have a problem in my galaxy S advance (I9070) First days I purchased it, it asked for System Update settings in Notification area. so I was selected the country as UK by mistake. So now I'm going to update it to JB, and the Kies software shows me a updates for UK, (XXLQE update) but i'm in a Asian country, I think that update for European country. If I update this, will it be compatible to my country ? is these europian updates can be used in asian countries ??. Please tell me how to change System Update Settings Country, there are no place to change it.
thanks

You can use other region firmwares with no problem. Currently maybe the indian ddulp8 is the best without root imo. Yes, it is true but not on all device and I don't know why.
Hope this helps.

I think if you change just the number in build.prop you can update it directly with PCC and get the newest firmware.

It should not be a problem. I installed 4.4.2 NG1 from Brazil and I'm from South Africa.
I used Odin3 (I think). It wiped all my data so, as always, backup everything you need to or want to.
Everything has been running smoothly for me for a week now...yay!
Just to add, I did come from a custom 4.4.4 CM rom.

Heyy, I had a similiar problem before.
I'm brazilian, so my phone came with a ZTO rom, and then I tried out flashing a Russian rom (BO12) so I could have less bugs when trying out custom ROMs like ressurrection remix. But after flashing the BO12 ROM (and base band) I was stuck with emergency calls too :| then I realized in my case, that the problem was that my carrier (Nextel), because it didn't operate in Russia, so it locked down my device, and I had to flash the ZTO ROM and call them to fix the issue. So after I upgraded my service, they allowed me to use the russian ROM and everything was fine (but I ended up using the ZTO ROM because my phone was rebooting randomly)
I think this may help you out!
