Hello, guys.
After I flash the OmniROM (build of 03/12) my device can't connect to internet using mobile data.
I think it's not an EFS problem because the device's IMEI is OK, I can make/receive calls and send/receive SMS. I restored a backup of EFS but the problem persists.
Already flash stock (Jelly Bean and Gingerbread), tried different firmwares and custom ROMs but nothing fixed the problem.
This is a screenshot taken while in Gingerbread, It says "IP addr not reachable android" and "Fail: Host unreachable" after run the ping test.

"IP addr not reachable android" from your picture means your phone can't reach www.google.com. That test was a ping to it.
You did factory reset and all wipes after usin Omni?

I'm thinking here, could the problem be the modemfs folder?
Well, I think I solved the problem.
I just replace the modemfs folder for another and mobile data is working for now. Let's wait and see what will happen.

hi! could add the MIUI camera.apk & MIUI gallery.apk in this rom?? (OxygeN1mod Nexus One)
thanks
why are you not asking that question in that thread so the dev can answer?
Because I have 1 post only Sorry
Sent from my Nexus One using xda premium
Forgot about that
Now you have two
MIUI apps like Music, Camera & Gallery will most likely NOT work on other ROMs, due to their strict association with the custom MIUI framework, which is always changing. You'll find that newer/older versions of MIUI apps will also not work with older/newer versions of MIUI for this very same reason.
Then again, the only way to find out for sure is to actually try out and find a version which may work for you ... have fun.
thanks, I will seek a solution

Make sure you are MANUALLY wiping the /system partition. If you are running ClockworkMod recovery, you can do it under the Mounts and Storage menu. If you are using Amon_RA, you will need to find a flashable zip that will wipe the system partition for you.
Sorry if I don't use the thread in the developers section but I need 10 posts to do it, and this is my first one .
Thanks ch33kybutt for this awesome ROM, but I have 2 (very) little problems with it:
1. when I switch off/on the lock screen toggle on the status bar, I have to reboot the phone to have again the lock screen working.
2. Each time I reboot the phone, I lose the configuration of the render effect.
Anyways, the ROM is perfect . Thank you.
hi guys,
I have been using the RC4.2 in india for the past couple months. both 2G and 3G were working on Indian providers.
I recently moved to Singapore, and now 3G doesnt seem to work on SingTel network. The signal shows "G" written next to it, and phone status inside Settings shows network type as GPRS:1. That means its on 2G network.
I called up SingTel customer care and the APN setting seems fine. A friend of mine running CM9 ICS beta build on his galaxy ACE has perfect 3G connectivity in Singapore on SingTel. The network types is shown as HSDPA.
Has anyone used 3G in singapore, or faced this issue? or is there any 3G connectivity fix for RC4.2? Am i supposed to use any other Radio?
Please help..2G here sucks!!

also, can this be a kernel issue? i am using semaphore 1.0.0sbm!

i am quite sure its a 3G sim card, coz other ppl are accessing 3G on a similar sim. I keyed in the code above, and chose "DISPLAY HSPA INFO." , it says "Serving Cell Info: HSDPA:0, HSUPA:0". this means HSDPA is not enabled? What do i do to enable this? I used to use 3G back in india, never did any enabling/disabling.
thanks for the help btw..but is there a way out now?

[3]RELEASE 6(HSDPA/HSUPA)

Hi all, I have CM11 of Maclaw on mi S3 Mini and I try to install every update he launches but since a few days ago I have no data connection.
Here are some things I noticed:
The H or 3G icon appears above the mobile network signal
The mobile network signal appears in orange color
The APN is configured correctly
If I enable Wifi, the mobile network signal changes to white but even it is in white the Wifi connection works sometimes and somes don't
I have also do a clean install, do a full wipe, in TWRP I have selected advance wipe and check all the list, I have also flashed stock rom and them back to custom rom.
Have to say that I can received calls and send and received SMS. Any clue of what is happening?

I have read the post and it says that the problem they have is that they don't have signal at all because the baseband has changed and also that this doesn't work for N or L versions and my phone is i8190L.
I looked up for my baseband and it is I8190LUBANA2.
I don't know if I can broke my phone if I flash the pit file you suggested, any ideas?
Flashing a pit file from other phone model can broke your phone or you will see a message like this "CUSTOM PIT BINARY" after flash. So don't do it did you try this : disable mobile data, turn off wifi and reboot? I don't know if it helps but try it

Extreme method :
After performing all the above if you haven't still got IMEI. Now switch off your phone and open SP Tools and connect your phone. Now click on format and format your whole phone. ( This wipes whole of the phone including NVram region ).
Now flash stock ROM through SP Tools and after it completes start up your phone. ( Don't be surprised. Your IMEI will still be in lost state only ). Now root your phone.
After successful rooting now connect your phone to MTK Droid tools and again press ROOT button and grant root access to MTK Droid tools. Now click on IMEI/NVram tab.

Now as you see in the image above you can see two boxes IMEI1 and IMEI 2. Now enter your device IMEI numbers manually in those two boxes.( You can get your IMEI no's from your phone box ). Now click replace IMEI. Now reboot your phone and you should be definitely able to get your IMEI restored.

Are you sure you are not roaming? This can also be the case if you mobile provider is a MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator), which means he is using the infrastructure of another provider.
Data roaming is by default off. You can enable in in settings- mobile network - data roaming.
For my device and carrier (BOB in Austria), the behaviour changed. It was not roaming under B200 (Android 5 for dual sim), but now with B564 (Android 6) it is.
Hello, I have the same problems with my phone, after installing a modified ROM with the B890 version, I lost the connection of mobile data, then I made a dowgrade wing version B052, but I can not connect the mobile data, I am currently version B584, And I can only make and receive calls, but I can not connect the mobile data, I can only browse via WiFi.
I tried several SIM cards from different companies, and all without success.

Can't help dude .....Sorry
Don't worry, thxs...
If flashing stock rom didn't work then i believe there are 2 cases here: a) You are using data roaming and it may not be compatible with your carrier (already mentioned but i am just pointing it out) or b) you have a defective device or some sort of hardware just failed. I would suggest getting in touch with Huawei support, if your warranty is still active. Other than that, i don't think anybody can help as it is not a software problem from the looks of it. Hope this helps
Now I realize that I can not send SMS, but if I can receive SMS messages, I'm trying to force connect my phone to the 4g network, but it only connects to the network 3g
Well, after insisting with my service provider, they told me that you would do a reset of my network settings, and in 24 hours the problem would be solved, after a few hours I got a message asking me to restart my phone, and I did, This was around 23hrs, I went to sleep thinking that that would not solve my problem, well the next morning I had to go out to do some paperwork, when I go on the street my phone and the surprise was when I started receiving Messages via WhatsApp and I looked at the screen and my phone was connected to the 4G network, but before a friend had told me that possibly my phone could have an IMEI lock, which I tell the person who answered me to help me solve my problem.
Now happily my phone works without problems.
thank you very much to all.
