[Q] Block or fake Permission data - Xperia Z1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Anyone know any good apps that can block and fake permissions data?
i understand that completely blocking permissions can cause some apps to fail so really an app that can block or fake permission data would be great
noticed an app called Permissions denied but it only seems to block permissions and cant fake permission data.

AntTek App Manager and Permissions After Freezing

Has anyone used this app to freeze system apps? I went with it cause its rating was decent and it was free. It does seem to freeze apps, but it also seems to change the permissions on the app(s) you freeze and then never puts them back to what they were when you un-freeze them. It doesn't seem to hurt anything, but it's kinda weird. I don't want it to botch up all my permissions.

I sense SD WRITE block is plot against Samsung from Google

It doesn't make sense Google block SD WRITE access giving ****ty excuses. I never had to root Note 3. I rooted my Note 4 on the 4th day using Chainfire's (read GOD) method. I tripped KNOX but don't give a damn. Since these days it is primarily Samsung who has SD in their phones, I sense it is Google plot to give Samsung some boot. Pissed off by google for the first time.
Cool story bro
Say what?
Here is some explanation: http://www.androidcentral.com/kitkat-sdcard-changes?nopaging=1
It was a security issue (apps could overwrite other apps data, even for malicious reasons). There should have been a permission to allow file managers to work around that, but for some stupid reason Google decided against it. And Samsung can easily turn on writing to sd card by default if they wanted to.
PS. It seems to be fixed in Android L: http://www.androidheadlines.com/2014/07/sd-card-access-changes-better-android-l.html

Excellent news. I totally missed that Lollipop nugget.

Nexus 6 Encryption/security question

I am wondering if the encryption on the new Nexus 6 is encrypted to where other applications can not access other applications or just to where it is encrypted towards outside transactions?? If encrypted can say various applications access other information on other applications? Say you have a banking application and a chat application. Would not be good if chat application or some other application would have access to your banking application or even your personal info on another application.
From what I understand all data is encrypted.

I was trying to find some info on what was encrypted and what wasn't but unable to find details on encryption regarding encryption between applications.

The data that is stored on your phone is encrypted. This encryption will prevent somebody who doesn't have your phone's pin/password from accessing that data. But, just like a File Explorer app can read/write data for other applications, a chat application can (assuming it has those permissions) do the same.
If your banking application is storing sensitive information on the phone, delete that application and probably switch banks (no, really. That should never happen).

Not too encrypted if applications can read/write data from other applications. There
Should be some sort of option to block others from reading or writing data from other
Applications.

Full diak encryption is not the same as sandboxing apps. FDE is designed to prevent somebody from mounting your drive (or phone storage) as external storage under a different operating system and be able to read your data.

Silently denied?

A week or so ago I had some system something rather requesting root access so I denied temporarily until I could research the logs. Well now I'm getting a notification of something being silently denied root but can't read it fast enough to see what it is. Since all this my phone is acting quirky. Is there a way I can have supersu basically start from scratch and ask me again on EVERYTHING for root access including whatever is being silently denied?
Am I aloud to bump this?
Just remove whatever app it is from the Apps list inside of SuperSU, or remove them all if you're not sure which one it is.

How to get rid of Privacy Space?

Hi! First of all, I am new here and I have a problem. I would like to remove Privacy Space APP from my phone. I have tried deleting it using ADB on my computer and it said that the app was sucessfully removed but the app seems to be still here because Privacy Space still fully works. I used Application Inspector tool from Play Store to find package name of Privacy Space app so it deleting it should have worked but it didn't [Privacy Space app package name: com.huawei.securitymgr]. What can I do with that? I would be thankful for any help, thanks. If anything sorry.
I think you mean Private Space.... Why do you want remove that? Is a app integrated with the EMUI.
Remove will most likely cause issues with the system.... Just don't use it.
