[Q] Xperia Z 3G and LTE version

I'm in UAE when I bought my xperia z only 3G version was in market so mine one is only capable for 3G but I've rooted my phone now it have stock 4G rom but I can't use 4G please help me how can I enable/unlock 4G in my Xperia Z.

If your model number is not C6603, you can't get LTE Service

Since you flashed an LTE rom, the build prop of that rom is most likely to say C6603.
Look at the printed letters at the botton of your device, above the barcode, there should say the actual model number of your device.

There are no work arounds for c6602, even if you flash a c6603 ftf file, it wouldn't give you LTE capabilities.
If you really want LTE you need to purchase the c6603. Make sure it supports your carrier's LTE network frequencies.

Also even if it was possible, you need that your provider give you a 4G access and a 4G package, you're ****ed anyway, your phone doesn't handle the 4G, i'm sorry for you.
Keep in mind that only few people have actually the 4G access, the deployment is in progress in many countries and many towns and for many providers.

I am living In uae Also and I bought the c6602 Also and I flashed a rom and its written there now c6603. LTE is not only software optmiziation but hardware too. But even if you have 4G its speed is barely over 3G in most of the places. it works fine only in few places
I got 134 mbits and 32 Mbits maximum on iphone 5 (my speed tests)

[Q] C6606 LTE with ATT

Hi all,
I just bought TMobile version of C6606. I got a code and unlocked the phone.
I am trying to set it up with ATT. H+ and voice works except the LTE.
I found it only has one band 4 for LTE.
I am wondering how to make it work with ATT LTE???
I am pretty new, so I you know the solution please give me more details or direct me to a link.

It won't work with lte on att. Is like the C6603 or C6602 non of them gets lte in the USA well on the C6602 u can flash a C6603 rom and it will get lte on att or t mobile one of the 2. I forgot what one. The C6603 won't get lte period in the USA and only gets hspa + on att the C6602 will get fully hspa + on att and tmobile.

Your phone does not support 4g !!!

I guess it all depends on your network + phone. It seems like you are using the HSPA+ of the Xperia Z (C6602).
4G is applicable on the C6603 versions.
Why you want to change when it does not make a difference in your network speed?

yes but is there any mod or something to chage te H and H+ to 4G and 4GLTE something like that?

Let me guess...... are you trying to pass off your phone as the LTE version and sell it off?

No I don't think he's being shady I wondered the same I have a 6606 witch has t-mobile lte but when u flash the 6603 ftf for 4.2.2 it now keeps its let but now shows as h and h+

Put simply; no. The C6602 doesn't have the necessary hardware to use LTE.

Dual sim issue still present?

Hi guys, just wanted to check if any of you are using this either in india or in the UK on o2?
Had the mi note (not pro - the sd801 version) and in most cases the dual sim worked but not with certain carriers in the UK,italy and india. Basically sim 2 would just not work - xiaomi advised it was a result of having only one imei. A lot of international carriers don't allow a single imei to be used by two different sim cards (whether the same carrier or different carrier) more reading here

Yes was on holiday no signal with o2 so bought P&G EE and when I was a good reception area could use both without issues that I was aware of.

I used India SIM in India with UAE SIM on roaming. Worked fine for me. Below is observation. Any questions?!
UAE SIM - 1
- Phone worked in roaming throughout - incoming calls & SMS
India AIRTEL SIM - 2
- Phone worked in roaming in another state
- Data 2g worked in roaming in another state - I subscribed only to 2g on first 2 days
- Phone worked in normal in native state
- Data (2g & 3g) worked in normal in native state - I subscribed to 3g after 2g was finished
