Does anyone have any idea when to expact JB on o2 in the UK?

Hi guys. Quite frankly I'm very disappointed with Samsung. It's taken them way too long to push JB. Do you have any idea when it's coming to the UK?

It's been almost a year since the release of JB and Samsung still hasn't pushed it to our notes. That basically tells me that they don't care about their customers so why should I recommended a Samsung phone to anyone and more importantly why should I buy another Samsung phone????

This is my second samsung phone going to be my last one may go windows phone but unsure all i can be certain of this is the last samsung phone i will own till the next one

Dont think your right as i have unlocked xeu... from o2 on contract not locked o2u one so i believe its uk and ireland release not o2 only

Would that be the windows phone that microsoft are withdrawing support for 7.8 and 8?

And your writing this on xda right. Therefore youll know you can just flash it yourself until the uk one arrives. No warranty issues, no triangle. No problem

Has anyone in Cleveland area received update

Haven't received anything in Philadelphia, pa as of tonight. I'm extremely impatient and have been expecting it since yesterday morning, but no dice. I'd sit back and hang right, this will probably be a long time coming.

That's cool are there any cons to doing manual install.....do you still keep root....or do u unroot go back to stock then flash.

You have to be completely stock or the update will fail. You will lose root but I believe you can reroot. It will trip the warranty flag which is not reversible. No cons I've seen yet.

How do I update?

Hey guys.. Just opened my brand new gear for Christmas and can't figure out how to update to the latest US firmware. Thanks! Merry Christmas.

You need to pair it with your phone first then use the Gear Manager on your phone to search for the update.

I was able to update mine by downloading the UK firmware from the consolidated post here (V700XXUAMK7_V700OXAAMK7_HOME.tar.md5) and using Odin.

Anyone else experiancing issues with samsung apps, with service not available or just general non-downloading. Cant get the gear manager

I can't seem to update as well... It hangs up on connecting to server. I'm on at&t gs4 rooted 4.4.2 kot49h Google edition ROM. Merry Christmas everyone!

There's probably too much downloads going on now on the server... Try again latter or try to update manually by connecting your gear to your computer with a micro usb cable and using kies

Fully function on beanstown stock 4.3

I had a few issues with the beanstown stock 4.3. A few FC's and random reboots for no reason...
I just installed the Sophisticated ROM a few days ago and haven't had any issues.
Both give full functionality to the gear if you are on a Verizon Note II
