Notifications - Samsung Galaxy Gear

I read the notifications and they will not go away until I open the notification page, select the notification and delete it.
Like I said I read the notification I do not need the watch to keep a log.
Is there to set up the watch if I read notification do not keep it?

There is no way at the moment i think

[Q] Mark notifications read on gear and phone?

I have two different notification questions. I am running the null rom, so I have the ability to run the touchwiz or nova launcher with full or not full ui.
Question 1: How to mark notifications in gear with touchwiz launcher read?
Example:
1. Text message comes in
2. Screen lights up and says new text
3. Press the screen and view the text
4. From touchwiz home swipe to notifications and it says there are new ones!
5. Enter notifications and it says there is a new one
6. Finally read the message a SECOND time to remove the new flag
Same thing happens with gmail.
Question 2: How to mark gmail notifications read on the phone?
Example:
1. Gmail comes in
2. Read the gmail on the phone in the touchwiz notifications area
3. Notification is still present on my Note 3
Thanks!
Works fine for me
Are you using the full system ui or the stock touchwiz ui? If you are using the touchwiz you get a gmail (on your phone the regular gmail app, NOT the pop3 email app) and you read it on your phone and the notification is gone from the phone? I must be missing some key item.
I'm still trying like crazy to figure out how to get the gear to clear the phone notification when I read it on the gear.

It wont....
I have Gear/Phone/Tablet.... when I get a notification I have to clear it on all 3.
I hope I am wrong because it bugs the crap out of me also, but I don't think I am.

[Q] Pop-up notifications?

Pop-up notifications weren't mentioned in the google announcement, but were in a release from sony
Have you seen this? I assume Keep would be a good test case for this.
If you want to post a pic or video, that would be appreciated, too.
Thanks
You get a small area across the bottom with a pop up notification (imagine the blank spot on the 360 but it is instead a notification) that remains until you... Swipe down to remove it which will not dismiss it as you can swipe up later to view any notifications which have not been dismissed. When you do choose to view a notification you can swipe up on the notification to view one full screen of it. You can then tap on the full screen notification to get a full scrollable email, text, etc. which can be interacted with further depending on the individual notification type. You might for instance want to voice in a response to a text or email which google now handles well as long as the response is short.
An interesting thing about google wear and the Urbane in general is that I have not found a definitive guide on how to interact with the watch in detail making sorting out what can be done with various notification types a trial and error task.

Thanks, but it sounds like you're describing regular notifications, which will vibrate, but do not appear on the face while an app is running. Sony's description sounds like a new notification will appear over any app that's running, so you don't have to exit the app to see it. Are you seeing them while using an app?

You're correct, I had thought you were talking about ordinary notifications. I've yet to use any apps on the watch, maybe someone else will chime in.
No, the urbane does not have notification pop up while an app is open on ur watch.

Notifications minimised and can't expand

So in the past couple of weeks or so my notifications have started acting up.
90% of the time they are minimised and cannot be expanded.
5% of the time they are minimised but I can drag down to expand them.
Then 5% of the time they are acting normal and are expanded.
Anyone know how to fix this? I've gone through the notifications settings and can't figure it out.
This is affecting all apps and all notifications.
I am on emui 9.0.0.925.
The only recent change to my phone is that I installed a work profile that is required by my work to access work emails and apps.
I don't think I have updated emui recently but I can't remember.
I get rid of this problem on my Samsung galaxy A7. Hope will help you out too.
1. Go to App Notifications
2. Click on the application which you want to unminimise.
3. You can see different more buttons. Click them one by one, you will find an option notification style.
4. Here you uncheck "silent and minimise" by clicking any other option like "sound" or "silent".

Notification Issues.... three questions from a new owner

This is my first Galaxy watch, so maybe I have a few settings or something wrong, but I can't figure out why the Watch3 shows a digital clock when there are notifications and doesn't go back to the "home screen," my watch face.
On my Android WearOS watch, when I have a notification come through, the screen changes to let me know what it is, and then if I do nothing, it goes back to the watch face I have selected. On the Watch3, if any notification comes through, I MUST do something (press the home side button, rotate the bezel, etc) in order to go back to the watch face or else it shows a persistent large digital clock as if I'm 10 years old and need to see numbers in order to read the time!
Second question, semi related to the first, but which setting do I uncheck so that a notification doesn't open full screen and I have the ability to swipe up to remove it or click on it to expand it? Is that "Show with details?" Turning that off means I can manipulate the notification without having to hit the back button first, then swipe up to clear or rotate bezel to see other notifications?
Final question, why do I have to go into the Notification settings on my phone to see recently sent notifications and manually turn them on when "Turn on for new apps" is in the on position? When an app sends a new notification from my new Note20 Ultra to my new Watch3, I see it listed in this section but I have to manually allow it to notify my watch even though "new apps" is selected and should be letting anything NEW to come through on the watch without having to okay it first! Any thoughts on why that is or what I am doing wrong?
Thanks in advance!

Question Turning off notification based on category

When I upgraded from the note 20 ultra, there is one thing I missed and I don't know how I got it in the first place. Being able to turn off specific notification based on their notification.
It was easy, a specific notification would happen, I would go to the notification bar and then tap the app, notification, tap the notification then settings and then it would automatically go to the right notification category and highlight it so I knew which one it was.
Now the phone just stops at notification so now when I manually go to notification category, I don't know which one to choose
