Flash the .423 kernel with flashtool and then use doomlords method to root
After that you can flash the .235 kernel again if you want.

HOW??
is this method delete my data ??

????????

Download Flashtool
Download .434 Firmware(no matter which region)
Download .253 Firmware(no matter which region)
First flash only .434 Kernel
second step Root
third step flash again your old kernel(.253)
The 'How to' is from an other Thread but I think you have to be able to do that with this as help. I don't have that much time to search all for you.
[*] How to flash 10.3.1.A.2.74 or 10.3.1.A.2.67 Kernel with flashtool?
1) Download any FTF of latest 10.3.1.A.2.74 or 10.3.1.A.2.67 firmware and place it in firmware folder of flashtool.
2) Plug the USB.
3) Open Flash tool and click on the lightning logo.
4) Select Flashmode.
5) Select 10.3.1.A.2.74 or 10.3.1.A.2.67 firmware on left side.
6) Uncheck kernel, fota, data, cache & appslog on right side.

I don't think it's necessary to flash any kernels with Flashtool to root 253 (if OP is on 253, he said 235 which I am unaware of being a firmware for the Z).
This should root it directly - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2327472

You need to read carefully.
The ROM *requires* nAa kernel to work and should be flashed in CWM recovery.

flash this with flashtool. this is stock rom for x8 untouched so you have to root it and make other steps again!

the rom is for nah pc companion should work ,,, or DL flashtool and the x8 ftp file if you whant change your baseband to ,, root and copy paste the xreco again happy soft brick my friend enjoy
you can still recover your back up after you install xreco
Not xRecovery. Just root with x8toolbox, unlock bootloader, install a kernel and flash the ROM in CWM recovery. xRecovery is old, it's not used anymore.

.257 FTF Singapore fw wanted

Hi guys, I have this 2nd hand Xperia SP. It's already at Android 4.3, it is a Singapore firmware.

I want to go back to an old rootable firmware so I can back up its TA partition before unlocking its bootloader. My question is, can I just flash any .257 firmware(regardless of customization number)? Like the one in here -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=42255153&postcount=3
Or can anybody link me to the same Singapore customization as mine, the old rootable firmware.
Thanks all in advance.

bootbundle ,partition , kernel , fota , etc
It depends what you want to do
Sent from my C6903 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Basically it excludes flashing anything you select. In other words, it doesn't flash what you choose. If you still don't get it, just look up the word 'exclude' in a dictionary or translator
Sent from my Xperia Z1 using Tapatalk
If you flashing Stock FTF do not touch anything and leave it in default. BTW, do not exclude anything! still don't understand why on that picture everything is excluded.
Exclude TA always do that. Beside they are planty of guides out the development and general section if your not sure have a look.
yup owns Xperia Z1
Current Rom : CM11 with cwm as kernel
Bootloader: Unlocked
Also if I've helped you don't forget to hit THANKS - actions speak louder that words.

If youre flashing an FTF for the purpose of flashing a rom then you would usually flash the rom via recovery and then skip over to flash mode and using flash tool, select the required FTF and deselect System and TA, you also wouldn't want to wipe either.
But as gregs said it depends, if you were wanting to just flash an FTF, you would wipe and deselect nothing.
