HTC One 4G - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I activated 4g in my phone, but in settings > mobile network it's showing wcdma and gsm.
But when i checked phone info with *#*#4636#*#*, it's showing LTE as an option.
Could someone tell me,why 4g is not coming in mobile network..?

That's the U version of the m7 ... it only supports GSM/HSPA and not LTE - refer toHTC One variants [U/UL/WL]

4G?

So I was playing around with ROM tool box on my 4x. And so you may know there's an option to change the statusbar icons. The app then shows the list of all the icons changeable. What I found weird is the presence of a 4g icon. Maybe its just the app. But when u try to modify it, the app does detect two 4g icons in the system. As far as I know I don't think there's 4g in 4x. Or am I wrong? If not, why those icons? Lazy developers?
here's a screen

Actually the 4X does support 4g in various parts of Europe

So the 4g icons in my device (India) are just leftover icons right?

I'm curious if anyone knows what the icon in the notification bar is that is directly to the left of the Wi-Fi icon. Thanks in advance. I have the T-Mobile variant.

Ninjas.
Thanks. Does leaving it enabled really drain the battery?

Hardly. The biggest downside is that it sits in your notification bar. A other than that it doesn't use much power overall (unless you're constantly using it, then it'll draw more power)

Share menu inconsistency.

Just as the title says. Why is the share menu different in different apps and can someone do something about this? (make it like the big white one all the time) It's hurting my OCD. ) I'm not rooted yet, but I will be very soon (when i get to my laptop) and I'm interested in a fix for this.

Is this the same . It was announced today
Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
I believe it's different. Today's announcement is for availability in UK and Europe markets. The bands are different from China market. Will be compatible to Singapore. Except no LTE.
