1. it should - confirmed to work on various european firmwares, so no reason no to work for xxld4
2. no and no, as these are recoveries for Jelly Bean kernels, you have to flash cocore-EP that has recovery you want to use (and prior to that you have to root your gingerbread firmware)
3. cocore EP
But wchich version ?
1.0P makes high CPU ussage on suppressed
4.1 makes high CPU ussage too but in all roms
Wysłane z Cyanofonika 10.1 ...
I remember using suppressed + various cocore versions and I really can't recall high cpu usage. if you rely solely on forum entries, I think you should try it for yourself; AFAIR high cpu usage was reported on 9070P long before cocore-P was released, so no needs to worry
and sorry for the cocore-EP confusion, I must have mistaken the versions, I did mean Cocore-P, as E(P) are for jb roms,
So i can use CoCore 1.0P savetly on suppressed gingerbread yes ?
Will not have high CPU ussage ?
Can I flash this kernel using ODIN ?
Wysłane z Cyanofonika 10.1 ...
Can I use universal kernel flasher by frapeti to flash CoCore 1.0P and than reflash it using CoCore' s CWM ?
Wysłane z Cyanofonika 10.1 ...
I don't think so.
Ask frapeti on proper thread of UKF if his app is compatible with older CoCore versions.

I used UKF to flash CoCore 1.0P on my phone.
Ok.
Hehe
CoCafe didn't write it.
CoCore 1.0P has CWM or TWRP ?
In suppressed thread is written that i should use Diego-chs TWRP to install it. So my general question is wchich is the best kernel working on I9070P witchout high CPU ussage for Suppressed and is UKF flashenable.

We only had TWRP on GB as I remember. So it is with TWRP. And that is why it is written use TWRP, you could use CWM too if there were any that time.
In CoCafe thread is written

By using stock file insted of file that is modified in ROM. But maybe something else is changed in it that will break some other stuff in ROM.
So no way : (

After flashing what kernel.bin.md5? You get it from CoCore too. You can use Universal kernel flasher on CoCore 1P too, just unpack it and use its kernle.bin.md5.

You should first install a hydracore kernel on your actual ics (but maybe it is no need), then flash the new jb rom lsz (the one you said) and after you can choose to flash or philz kernel (v 4.88.2) or speedmod kernel (k5-1). Both are goods! To flash all this, you just need a simple program called Odin
If you go in original android development section, you will find all that you need! Just read carefully the main threads, and all will go fine. There are also screenshots attached to the posts, so it will be more clear. Btw if you have some doubts, post here or pm me (sono italiano anche io )

Btw in that procedure, it may be safe, flashing the lsz rom directly without flash a safe kernel before, by odin ofc? Or we absolutely must flash a safe kernel before to flash anything by odin?

Nice dude
Glad it worked! If I can give you a personal advice:
Install speedmod kernel (actual is k5-1) using odin, download triangle away (actual should be 2.75.. Search it here on xda, by chainfire) install it and use it to remove the yellow alert triangle at the boot time (please read carefully how to use that apk). Now you got a safe kernel, root permissions and very good performance / stability. Ofc if you do that, you "temporarily" will lose the warranty (cuz of the root and the custom kernel). If you don't want, just keep your note as it is now
Regards!

You can't use philz kernel (I'm talking about our galaxy note at least) on any other rom than a Touchwiz based. So unfortunately you can't use it on cm10.1 :/
When I used a cm based, usually I kept the original cm kernel, Btw some of new kernels on xda are interesting! So maybe just try them
For now I'm on ultimate rom, and I'm planning to switch to another one soon (I'm flasholic...)

But dude, that topic is about the galaxy s3 (i9300) and talking about a custom recovery (with few words, the menu from where you install new roms or wipe your note) and not about a kernel. Plus, Dev Crash left our note community some months ago, and his last rom is a jb leak rom Samsung, so I don't recommend you to install it. It's too much old now. Btw, if you wanna some advice about all this story (kernel recovery and other maybe) I advice you to:
First search for some already opened thread, and if you will not any answer to your questions, open a new thread

Hello,
I want to install Kitkar 4.4 on my Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000(India).
I'm completely not aware for this android installation. So please help me.
Please tell me steps and download links. I tried steps which is i got fro internet but most of the time file location was banned by government or removed. So again tried with CWM but still i got stuck. Now I'm using Android Jelly Bean 4.1.2, Build no- JZO54K.N7000DLSC, Kernel version- 3.0.31-906407(SMP PREEMPT WED MARCH 6 19:53:40 KST 2013). This is my phone details. Please suggest me for this model.
Thanks in advance.
Rahul.
I use Firefox with anonimox extesion to bypass the banned's site... But i'm in Italia. You Can try.
The Step to install kilkat are:
Install The correct philz kernel version.
Install the raw kernel and reboot the recovery.
Full wipe.
Install the 4.4 Rom
Install the gapps.
Wipe cache and dalvik
Roboot.

try cm11 by herna (try the latest built by frantisheq) really stable and smooth
btw: full wipe means wipe data, wipe cache, wipe dalvik and manually format /system.

If anyone can guide newbie like us step by step and also the link, the best step that never make our phone brick
just stay away from Stock ICS kernel (dont wipe anything using stock ics recovery)
then root your rom and make a backup of your efs (this is the most important step)
now each thread contains all the steps you need to follow, just read them carefully)
I advice you to try herna cm11 (very stable)

raw kernel r4 is cwm while r5 is TWRP. To root and get custom recovery for your stock rom,you must flash philz kernel. Once you have philz kernel, reboot recovery and from there flash r4 or r5 kernel and again reboot recovery and then do the wipes and flash any kitkat rom with gapps. Kernel with SELinux support are raw kernel, r4 and r5, Asylum kernel http://asylumrom.com/Asylum/Asylum-Roms/KitKat-4.4/N7000/kerner/.
