Look, you need to need to try some roms for yourself and see which is best for you, its an individual experience
If you want us to tell you which is best for you, then give up control of your life and buy an iPhone

Their is no "best" ROM/Kernel, head over to the development section, try some out for and see which "best" suits your needs.

Is there anyone who has an Xperia T and wants development started?

Dear Xperia T users,
Some of you might already know me, but some won't. I'm a developer for Sony Xperia phones and I have some experience now
I'm looking for people that are willing to test a kernel with recovery for me
When we have a working recovery I'll also need testers for my custom rom: KA Xperia SSpeed
I haven't started to make the kernel with recovery yet, first I need to know if there is interest in this at the moment?
Thank you,
Krabappel2548

ok, pm me if you want to test some stuff
just flashing kernels to begin, but it won't brick your device if you follow my instructions
Hey Krabbple , if you realease roms for t then try to ask pple to test on tx because its exactly the same but diff design / remove batt. also it might be compatible for v but kernel flashing may be diff.
I will test. I have unlocked bootloader and rooted. Both kernel in other thread just stick on bootlogo

new kernels posted, let's hope they boot this time the command I use should be good, I used the right base adresses
I posted 2 insecure kernels, please test them both and report back to me
I am getting my T next week krab, we could join up for development?
Ive got mine now, put me down for helping to test the ROM's and such, would rather be honest and say that I have no idea on how to flash a kernel.
My Xperia T should arrive in the next days to be compared with a S3 first hand. I'm pretty sure the S3 will lose and will be sent back to Amazon - and I'm absolutely up for some crazy flashing
What can I do to help development? Should I dump the firmware and upload it? It is from O2 Germany and without a simlock, can't say if it is branded yet.
the big and might Codeworkx is having the T too....
expect fabulous dev work here !!!!
Can't wait Krab
Bring the Rom & Kernel on.. LOL

Hi
I've got a xperia T and I would like to develop but I have a problem, I can't unlooked my bootloader, so, how can I help?

[Q] Which is the best custom ROM ?

Hi to all, i'm newbie and today it's arrived my new Xperia T...
I've a question... which is, at the moment, the best ROM for this phone ?
Not necessary the best, but one that work correctly and work better than a original ...
Thank you =D
Thats for you to decide. the point about custom roms are that different people like different ones, they are "Customisable" to the individual taste.
So you question id like asking "what is better Pizza or Kebab?" different people will give you different answers and everyone will be right.
Also, these kind of threads normally degenerate into flaming anyway so its not worth asking, .
My suggestion, just try one for a week, then another then another, and choose the one you like best
I love your quickly answer and i thank you so much, but my is not a question to create a flame... it's only a personal curiosity because i've seen about 20 different ROM for this phone... for example, for my old Galaxy S Plus, one of the best was Gigabread Plus Final...
I wanna only now one name of one rom that work good and optimize the mobile phone =D
Stock Sony.

The best 4.4 prerooted option for SouthAmerica

Hi there, I am looking for a prerooted 4.4 android version for my Z1, but I don't know which to put in my phone... I read the collection but there are many options, which version should I flash? I'm from South America... please somebody help me
best regards!
I like ham and pinnapple, some like meat feast, some dirty people put little fish on their pizza
Whatever you flavour of pizza you like, that's the one best for you
Its the same with roms, try them, if you spit it out don't eat it again, if you like it, stick with it....
Maybe a brazilian rom? Even if there's not a pre-rooted version you can still root it yourself
Or a generic one, that's what i use and im on central America

iHackers maybe??
seems to be the best in my opinion
No, No, No, Slimkat! ....

[Q] 4.3 Rom Suggestions for Sony Newbie

Hello Community,
Im new to Sony devices and have a Sony XZ1s Tmobile USA edition C6916. It is currently rooted on stock rom with locked bootloader. Can anyone suggest a good 4.3 Rom that will work with my setup? A rom that does not require using the Flashtool so that I can easily just flash it with TWRP?
Thanks

Welcome mate...
One suggestion - change title of your thread.
Best ROM threads aren't allowed on XDA.
Thread is generally OK, you just want to hear few things from users but change title - moderators will close your thread with this name.

Look, Moderators are behind you...LOL...
BTW, there is no good, bad, best, you have to test them by your self and see which suite your needs.
We do not allow best ROM/Kernel threads no matter how they are named. The question is subjective, best advice is to head over to the development section try some out and see which best suits your needs.

advice for the best ROM for xperia x8

There are plenty of ROM for xperia x8, also dating back many years ago. I wanted to get some advice on a ROM for xperia x8 with locked bootloader, which is light, fast, stable and above all without bug still lag for daily use, possibly gingerbread 2.3+. Thanks for the answers.
Why don't you try some and decide by yourself?
There is no such thing as "best rom", it depends on your likings and needs.
In every rom thread you will find a list with the features and bugs, you can also read the thread for comments from the users.

I know, but I wanted some advice for a ROM for everyday use and read without bugs. are not very practical and I do not have time to try them all, that's why I would like some advice from those who have already tried the ROM on xperia x8.

the stock is awful, full of bugs and lag. WiFi stops working after 2 seconds and does not have multitouch! I can not move apps to the SD! the stock sucks.

Stock rom doesn't have any wifi bug, something else is your problem. It isn't that laggy considering the device's hardware. This is what you bought.
Custom roms are way better but for your good you need to find some time.

Nope, that is my point. You need to give that time to explore them yourself.
All you want is out there, you don't need me to help you chose. If you are not willing to find them then maybe you don't really need them.
Btw, I have the impression that you know nothing about how making modifications to your device work. If you did then you wouldn't ask people to tell you what to do but you would do your research.
I'm not asking for the moon, then I ask what ROM you've tried and what are their best with locked bootloader
