Is there a way to disable the loud volume warning?

Yes, but it requires root and an xposed framework module.

Is there any way to make the volume for Google now/touchless control not be affected by the ringer? I would love for it to talk back to me even when on vibrate.

I have a rooted Dev edition moto x. But when I switch to ART the phone just reboots regularly with dalvik still on.
Has anyone else experienced this before?

Seriously, how much more louder you want this thing to be. Out the box volume is perfect...

You could probably get louder with an equalizer but then you run the risk of blowing the speakers.
