[Q] Samsung Galaxy s I909 no android market

Hi i recently acquired this phone from a friend that comes from china.. it doesnt have android market.. and wondering if i can update this to froyo 2.2 if not .. would anyone point me to the right direction im scared of upgrading custom roms that may brick my phone. it has a recovery mode and runs on eclair. i read the forum but no indication that i909 is can upgraded aside. i really like to know if i can install android market thanks

yep, that is the chinese model
you should be able to install Market hack to make it work regardless of where the phone was from, or which cell phone carrier you are using
look for "Market Enabler"

hi sir i got it installed but when choose US tmobile fake this provider option it says huston we have a problem. but when i choose set for fakeonboot .. it says the application market neabler process sorry( ch.racic.android.marketnabler has stopped unexpectedly ) please try again

Samsung galaxy ace S5839i

I guess this is a theme.
The only problem is my samsung galaxy ace is not the GT-S5830i :S My phone is GT-S5839i ! WTF?
So my phone dont work, i got the message: "aplication stop, and i cannot use the phone.
I search so much, my problem is i need to install a new rom?
I 'm from portugal i got the rom in:

Can i use a rom from other country? My phone is branded to vodafone.
I download odin 1.83. But i dont get it. PIT? Bootloader, pda .... How can i get this thing...

i currently working on gingerbread but the this is its working very slow. when i connect it to kies it says it cant restore the same software (as we could do it in ios ) so i need help in how to re install the same version of gingerbread in in tab which would run as a brand new update
i dont know how to flash or root works plz help

[Q] App Installing Issues

Hello! I'm new to XDA Developers, so pardon my noobiness.
Basically, I purchased a galaxy gear off ebay, but my samsung galaxy S3 is only running 4.1.3 as stupid Telstra have not rolled out the 4.3 update for the S3 GT-i9305T. I was able to connect my galaxy gear to it by installing gear manager, and most features work... except the apps. When I try install an app, this error comes up: "Installation Failed. Try again later.(0)" and I have no idea what to do.
Basically what I'm wondering if there is a fix for this, or if it is possibly to somehow install 4.3 if my carrier hasn't rolled it out yet.

So far you are at the right place.
Go to the top of this page and where it has a box that says "Type To Find Your Device" .....
Put in your phone model there and then go to the forum dedicated to your phone. there you should be able to find information about rooting and unlocking your phone.
You could then install 4.3 or 4.4 depending on what you want with the instructions provided there.

hi guys thisis my first thread,so if i skiped some info please let me know and i will give it to you. so lets start. when i bought my samsung galaxy note 5, it was the n920c version. nevertheless after installing a couple of roms (nameless rom and drketan) i realize that my phone version was n920g. is it possible?
if want to install android mm, should i install n920c bootloader or n920g?
i will add some picture about my firmware version.

hi ,
i do not know all you have done ,to your device ..but i can answer you with this example/way .
My "old/other " device is a Note 3 .( N9005 model ,Android v 5.0.0 )
Rooted and have a Phronesis, port of Note5 installed on it .( very good )
If i check this device/Settings /about device ,it says N920C , Android v 5.1.1
Also a 3 rd party app, Phone Info ,states its a N920C .
Now if i really believe this and try to flash "real" Note 5 software /ROM ..?
Yes, i will "brick" my device .....!!!!!

What i was saying above , is don't believe " everything" your "modded" device, now states.
if you don't know what to do, ask the relevant developer of that Rom.( in that Rom thread.)
