[Q] Safestrap and TWRP - Galaxy S 4 Active Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I didn't see the message about not running SS and TWRP until after I had installed SafeStrap. Do I need to uninstall TWRP or just leave it?

[Q] HELP Root access fail / nor root access

Hello All,
I am newbie here.
A little bit of background.
I did unclock thru HTCDEV, rooted with superSU via ADB, then run with STOCK ROM until recently flashed with ARHD 52 ROM, did clean wipe both thru TWRP and then in AROMA. I selected "superuser" during Aroma process.
everything gone well, phone worked fine for few days. OK with sense tool box.
but after I opened Xposed installer, I rebooted it, i went on boot loop, then I tried go into recovery flash the xposed disabler, it still boot loop.
So I did a system restore, managed to get back to phone. How ever i lost the root access.
when i open titanium backup /sense toolbox/ xposed installer it says "NO ROOT ACCESS" ROOT ACCESS FAIL"
What have I done wrong? what should I do to fix this?
any help would be much appreciated.
thanks

Lost TWRP and root after installing rom

Hey everyone
I've been using the XT1053 Retail US Stock Lollipop Flashable ZIP without issue for quite a while, but decided to update to the modded version 2. So I flashed it, xposed, and supersu again. Booted up, everything was okay. But then it said I needed to update my supersu binary and that I didn't have root, so I went to reboot into recovery and flash supersu once more.
However, now I can't access TWRP and it merely says "no command"
Should I just try installing TWRP again or is there a way to see if it's still installed? It's weird that this happened after flashing a rom
edit: reflashed twrp recovery img, back to normal. Can't explain what caused this though

Uninstalling Xposed stuck

Hi, I have an HTC one m7 with stock firmware, 5.0.2.
I have installed superSU, and afterwards xposed. All working, modules too, but now I need to uninstall it because come apps won't work. I downloaded the uninstaller zip from the xposed thread, installed it via twrp, but when I reboot the phone it gets stuck on booting with the HTC one logo.
I removed all the modules before uninstalling xposed.
When I install again xposed the phone boots normally.
How can I solve this?

Did you disable the framwork in the xposed installer app before you tried to uninstall it?
In on marshmallow, anyone can't do it, can't even press remove

Restore your /system nandroid backup you (should) have made before flashing Xposed. Worst case, you'll have to re-flash your rom.
Solved it by wiping dalvik, thank you!

Install twrp with flashtool?

Hello, is it possible to install twrp permanently via flashtool?
I flashed twrp img with flashtool (select kernel to flash) but then my phone wasnt able to boot up, so I installed lineage os rom.
After that, I booted up to system without any problem. I restarted my phone to check the twrp recovery but I noticed that It reverted into the stock one.
I tried to install twrp via the twrp app, the app says it flashed successfully but when I boot up into recovery, my phone shows the stock one. Please help me someone.
nevermind, I managed to install twrp with rom toolbox app.
