Should i speak to docomo or directly to sony care?
I got mine changed.. As it is a factory error.. The glue got melted or something like that...

i recently tried flashing a kernel and now the phone is stuck in a bootloop
now usually 3 button recovery would do the trick BUT
> i guess i've lost 3 button combo since they don't work anymore
so i decided i'd make a jig with the 300k ohm resistor
however, most of the how-tos say "Don't touch any button!" so i was wondering if the jig would work on my phone (since it behaves like the power is always pressed i.e. the phone boots as soon as you put the battery)
(and i have neither the skill or the balls to try the unbrickable mod)
QUESTION/ DOUBT : does the jig work on phones with power button issues

ROM : cm10 JB 4.1
Have u tried getting to download mode with the volume buttons? That method doesn't use the power button.

Sorry got a little ahead of myself there the other day someone else had the problem with sticking power button and I was curious about it so I have two captivates one for backup and I took one and took the battery out and plugged it into the computer with the usb cable and then held all 3 buttons and put the battery back in and it booted to download mode for me.

If you stripped the head of it..you'll have to use a dremel or something and drill it out..?

You could also try superglue on a toothpick. Touch it to the stripped screw...but let it dry completely and harden and then slowly apply gentle force trying to unscrew it.

I searched in the forum and couldn't find a answer. If this is a repost, I apologize. At the boot screen, it shows the "galaxy note 3" and on the bottom, it shows a opened padlock with the words "custom" below it. Why is that and how do I get rid of it? I bought this straight up brand new sealed from AT&T, so it's not second-hand. Thanks in advance.
I'm thinking an app you have installed is making it day that. Try rebooting a few times and see if it goes away.

I have only seen the "custom" with padlock open on a rooted phone. I would download root checker app and see if your phone is rooted

By working do you mean fully or just the basic blue tooth functions like calls and music control ? Are you running a 4.3 rom with gear support so that s - voice , weather and texts work as well ? I have yet to hear anyone have a fully working gear on 4.2.2 , but you may be the first.

same here...4.3 rom full working GG...Svoice having some issues thought, says failed to send data some times....
I had it working with my cm rom. I wasnt aware that there was an official leak out there haha, I work a lot and I have no time for myself. But I installed all services and apps manual in order to get it to work.

Well i finally picked up a d950. So far ive rooted and updated to 4.4.2. Ive done some searching for other roms,mods, or kernels for it and not sure what im actually able do with this phone. Any recommendations on roms or anything for it? Thanks a lot
There... Kind of isn't any at the moment. Not really. I'm hoping now that Bump is out and works with the Flex and that we have a working recovery again for the latest update things will start to pick up.

Try wiping finger across the proximity sensor and tap again. If that does bot work press firmly across of flex near proximity sensor and if that works it means the sensor is sliding back in the housing is what was happening to my flex 950

We do have working recovery. Bump does work. Was working a few days ago. Go to playfulgods post in the dev section.
