Hello all, like the title says here all owners of them will post there configurations, experience that have with them or problems.
Yesterday I receive both and I want to know in what point of connection you guys are. I manage to flash latest null rom on the Gear and the G2 is stock for now. Please let me know what you use on both to make them work at full power.

Hello all.
I have a brief question. Under the settings menu in our sgs, there is an option to update etc. Has it ever worked with any update? For example, when the next update is available is it worth bothering to check through that instead of kies, or does it not work?
Thanks

Always no update available

No. It's just there for decorative purpose. Seriously.
Has it been included on any stable firmwares yet though?
I have used it twice on my nexus one and updated. Has never done anything on galaxy s. I think it may be a Google phone feature. Eg nexus one, nexus s.

Hello guys,
I'm playing with GaLAXY Gear, found some awesome stuff around here like Rooting and loading custom ROM. Does anyone have any idea about accessing WiFi in Gear ?
Please let me know possible or not, I have gone through this custom ROM, but no option found for WiFi access.
Any notion about it will be appreciated.
Hi,
No WiFi in the GG only BT if you want web access you must use BT Thetering.

But you need to have a custom rom that supports bluetooth tethering an as of now there's only international roms that has it.

Hi,
I just installed Nova Launcher and a bunch of other apps including the dolphin browser in my galaxy gear watch but i can't get the internet to work it just says that there is no internet connection. I am using a verizon samsung galaxy s4 but on the t-mobile carrier. I do not get the internet wether i am on the t-mobile internet or the wi-fi. I have tried looking at other place and a lot of threads in this forum but haven't really found a solution. I would really appreciate if someone could help me with this problem. I have attached a picture to show what it looks like. Thank you.
Search this forum on how to enable bluetooth tethering on both phone and gear.

hey,
just a quick question, you mean the rom on the gear or on the phone when you say international roms.
He meant on the phone.... Assuming you are using an AT&T Note 3

Hi, I'm new to wearable technology, so I would like to ask if the Samsung Gear Live will work with my G Flex. Of course I've read that the Live will work with Android 4.3 devices and up, only. LG G Flex is now on 4.4.2. Any members that have experience or feedback?
Thanks in advance.
As long as its on 4.3 or above, I see no reason it shouldn't work.

Well, depending on how urgently you need Wi-Fi tether to work, you could either flash a previous version of the ROM, or live with it.

I can't say, since I'm not using the device..... I'll test it out today and tell you. As a workaround, you can use Superbeam.
