Just use that baseband. Those OTA updates can make a lot of truoble (my freind experienced a soft brick on his S2 after one OTA update).

Anyone can help me? I really like to update it

Man just look at SamMobile for latest stock ROM which includes that OTA and it should work.

Then just ignore that OTA. I thik that happens when you have rooted device or smthing like that (CWM or TWRP) and it stops.

You can try some kernel which works with froyo rom.. you want an untethered method so it needs to be a flashable zip or you can use kernel flasher app for galaxy s and use .tar kernel file to flash the custom kernel.. this will root your device.

This is a very old method.. What I'll suggest is going to darkyrom.com and get the 10.2 Resurrection Odin version.. Flash that and you'll have a rooted GB ROM.. Then you can flash CM 10.1 from recovery

once rooted you can use rom manager to flash CWM recovery.. it'll download and flash it.. no need to use odin .. and also once you are rooted you can use mobile odin too (though its paid I think.. rom manager free version comes which will do the work).

Mobile Odin pro is for $5. Free version doesn't preserve root.

Help please. The horror!

Hi all, I upgraded to the official JellyBean on my German Note n7000. Didn't like it particularly the battery drain. Wanted to go back to ICS 4.0.4. Downloaded XXLRK 4.0.4 and flashed via Odin. No issues. However it will not go past the Samsung logo with the blue universe swirl. Not the N7000 white text screen the one with the flashing Samsung letters....
Any help will be appreciated. My beloved Note is hanging in the wind...
Full wipe before back to ICS...mak3 sure you know how to do that first...

If you are still in the original status I advise to go to any official Samsung dealer that have a technical service. Samsung can even give u a adres near u. They can help u without any cost.
