The Circle battery icon by DOlar in DMod V6 is the BEST!
I searched my *ss off on XDA to find a seperate flash for it, in case of moving to another ROM...
Is there a seperate ZIP somewhere?
Or could someone create it?

I want to change the Gingerbread Battery Icon without percent on my wifes I9000 Darky ROM 9.5. On my Desire there is an Online Kitchen to change the icons and then flash the cooked Zip per recovery.
How to do that on Samsung I9000... ?

I'm running a mostly stock GB ROM (rooted with speedmod kernel) and would like to have a percentage or number battery indicator without running more software (I run bad ass battery monitor at the moment but suspect it is chewing some of my juice)
What's the lowest risk, simplest mod I can make that didn't involve running a widget or more software?

you will have to make your own mod on UOT kitchen website , and flash it via recovery (u will need root).
or u can search the forum for such % mods but, u may not like the way the icon looks, so making one with UOT kitchen is always your choice of which icon u want to choose , but its quite tricky cos each rom and each build have different framework and different files so u have to be carfefull with that otherwise u wll endup with bootloops...
i used to make some for my desire HD but now with the Note its different and to be honest i just couldnt be arsed looking for files for each rom i flash so i just stopped...

It gives you a 1% battery icon and a lot more besides if you want it, with a single zip file.
Looks good except it says to load it via CWM, I'm running the N7000DXLC2 ROM with the Odin Speedmod kernel and as I understand it that means I don't have CWM.
Any idea how to load it without CWM?
You do have CWM recovery. I was running DXLC2 with Speedmod too.

I couln't find any other theme or Mod for your Rom other than Kalagas'.
I don't think what you're looking for exists for the time being!

an of couse i am looking for lite rom - for note with great battery life
i moved from sgs1 vibrant where the best rom is miui 2.3.7 360 team
so as i readed on the note 2.3 is better for battery too..
and what are the best lite rom (dont like aps and etc anyway need to configure myself)
battery life is not really depending on rom.. it depend on the kernal n modem too..
basically from what i read here.. i think speedmod is great for smoothness n speed n battery life.. n lpt is good of signals.. try Kingdroid v4.1.1 watch their installation video before you stall installing
+1 speedmod kernel.
you could give checkrom a try too seeing as you're on gb.
Used KingDroid v3 + speedmod kernel = just fine
Using RocketRom v7 + speedmod kernel = almost perfect on performance and batt life. Except for issues on lag using s.memo after making a screenshot. Other than that,
RocketRom v7 for me is a good go.

a lot of recomendation in our russian forums to thor 0.4 kernel that it is faster and better battery life then speedmod

Thor is for cm9 and others, not for ICS i think.
