Hi guys
When editing a contact and adding a picture to it, it used to give me several options, like whether I would like to add the picture from Album, Picture Editor, Picture Viewer, File Manager etc and then it would ask Once Only or Always...
Well somehow Dropbox got selected together with the Always option so whenever I want to add a photo to my address book it only now offers me Dropbox.
I can't figure out for the life of god how to reset or reverse that so that I can select photos from my album again...
Any help?
Please... Lol
Thanks!!

The only way which I know is to uninstall Dropbox form Android and install again, after that when you will select the pictures will appear all the options.
Thanks I will try that!

Yhea, I know, in this case working what way. If you do this with Whazzup, for example you want send a pic and you select Always with Album, in this case you don't have to uninstall Whazzup but just keep pushing the botton attachment and the option will appear. Should working that way for everything but actually is not.

Or you could go to SETTINGS > APPS and then "clear default" in the app you don't want to be the selected by default... Is not necessary to uninstall...

Ok, so try this, go to Whazzup, and try to send a picture to someone, whazz will ask you which album or whatever you want to use, select always and the Album which you like, now when you want to send a pictures you will always use the same app with the album which you selected by default.
Now go to Settings > Apps > Whazzapp and see in you can click on Clear Default, because to me is not working in that way, maybe with some app only.

Because the one you need to clear is not whatsapp... Should be the app that is by default opening the pictures... for example "Settings > Apps > "Gallery or media app opening the pictures by default in whatsapp" then "Clear default"... I hope I could make myself clearer this time...
I hope it helps

Hi,
I want to change the defualt program assignment for the Samsung Galaxy. I can't find it on the phone.
I installed Dialer One, and when I missed a few calls, I got a pop up window asking me what program do I want to see the missed calls (Dialer One or the SGS dialer), I chose DIaler one, but for some reason it crashes when I need to check the missed calls.
The thing is I can't find the place to change it back to the regular Android Dialer....
Help, anyone?
Thx,
Roy
Go to settings, applications, manage applications and then select your application in question, under there is a section to clear the defaults. That should do the trick

That means that you haven't set that application as default or there is only one application that can perform the concerned action.. like if you have only one launcher you won't be able to clear its defaults but if you have more than one installed you'll have the option of clearing the defaults.
I just tryed to do a video off my phone and it said error force close. So i restarted the phone and i tryed again and the same thing happened when i tryed to do a pana view shot and the dame happened. Is there a update or a new program i can use?? Before you search for a new camera app have you cleared out your camera cache and tried the camera again?
Do the following:
Phone menu button > Settings > Applications > Manage applications > All
Scroll to Camera (or whatever the name of the camera app you're using) and click on it
Click on the "Clear cache" button and since you said you haven't done much with it, if you want, click on the "Clear data" though clearing data shouldn't be necessary at this point.
Its tha stock camera app that option was not there

You mean it was greyed out? All apps will have the same options so it'll be there, just probably not available which is also rather odd, imo. When you look at it in the "All" list, what number do you see under the Camera listing? While you're at it, what number do you see under "Camera Firmware"?

I cant get to it. I tryed the firm ware up grade and it wouldent do cause it force closes. Idk what to do wish i could find the stock files for it and copy over them and see if that would work...

When you click the link to download video in web browser, it comes up with two possible selections. One is "Video" which means you can watch video while it downloads. The other is "Internet" which downloads the video as a file to your Video app folder. You can select either as default by ticking the box underneath. I've accidently set one of them to default by mistake. How do i get the option back of being able to select both methods of download?
Thanks

Go into your settings, and into the App Development or App Management area (forget what its called..=/). Then, find the one that you've set as the default and press it to open some options. One of those options should be "Clear Defaults", and that should take care of it.

Problems I Have so far that i can't seem to figure out.
1. When i go into gallery it shows photos that have recently been uploaded by people on facebook, I don't want this
2. With the Zoe camera, when i try to do the "Sequence Shot" when editing I get an error that says "Unable to continue there are not enough images to process"
3. Flat out cannot connect this with my sony smart watch anyone else had any success
Hi, it works perfectly fine with my Sony smartwatch, had to put watch in pairing mode first by holding down the power button for around 10secs once power is off watch, and had to download the liveware and smartwatch app etc from play store.

You need to click options(three dots on the top right) and then add a service. Click on facebook and click the three dots again, where it will let you remove it. Hope that helped.

I think where Zoe is concerned, you need to have enough movement in the shot or it can't process enough images, i was getting that error when i first tried it out, but after a few attempts seemed to get it right, camera still and enough movement in shot.

I thought if you removed Facebook just from the gallery, then only that particular functionality
will be turned off(photo syncing in this case), bit of a let down really. HTC should've kept
gallery and calendar synchronisation separate.

You have to bring up the app drawer first, then drag the icon from your launch bar onto the app drawer.

there is an app called Haxsync that can sync your contacts, birthdays and events while removing the FB account alltogether.
Hi
Does anyone know how to share images from Facebook to whatsapp, or whatsapp to whatsapp ???
I have been using touchwiz for a couple of years now and the app integration was awsome.
Have i missed something, or is their a lack of app integration on this device???
Thanks
AFAIK, in whatsapp: press the paperclip > press photo/album > select Facebook folder > select pic.
idk about Facebook, i dont use it.

Yeah, they all show up in the Gallery so just use whatever option in the particular app to add picture, pick Gallery, and look for them there.

Thanks, i was looking for something more specific in sharing from the app itself. I initially saw 4 apps that i can share with, but did not realise that I can scroll down.
Thanks
