not working in TheRom either...when i start it it says application closed...i think tegra 2 isn't supported anymore...

we can still hope for an update, I think this gpu is not that weak to not be able to run it. by the way, did you play Assassin's Creed Pirates? if so, did it work for you?

i think this gpu can easly run this game...i saw what iphone 4s does and it's pretty amazing...i didn't tried yet assasin's creed because i want to update my asus tf300t to a custom rom but still don't know evrything i need to do that...and from what videos i saw assasins creed it's more like a high resolution game

I doubt that. I have seen lots of games that can be played on ICS which can't be played on CM ROMs. Re-Volt is one of them.

Guys the problem is in the game..if you read in the play store, everybody is having issues with starting the game, so we have to wait for updates

the last version works for me on asus tf300t tegra 3...but on o2x it doesnt even open the game...

Mmm, so maybe the problem could really be RAM now..we have to wait android 4.4 with finger crossed!
EDIT: Probably we don't want to think about it, but our phone is very old (March 2011) and yes, GTA Vice city runs, but GTA San Andreas was a revolution at the time, and it was laggy also on PS2 when you unlock parts of the map and contents..this time, maybe, we have to give up!

I don't think it's the ram...it works great on iphone 4s with the same ram...i really think it's because of the chipset...tegra 2 can't support the graphics that SA has...the game looks brilliant on tegra 3...a lot better than on my pc

Of course yes, but don't forget that ios is better optimised respect to our pour 2x that is a complete disaster talking about software (but also hardware)...we can hope that rockstar has still some little problems with this game and the time will enlarge compatible devices list!

Hopefully, but I doubt O2X will be supported. Vice City was available in the Play Store when it came out, then after the second update, O2X wasn't supported, who knows why (as it ran perfectly on Max settings with little lags).
Btw I still don't think it's Tegra 2 that wouldn't handle the graphics, we have much more beautiful games that run great (Dead Trigger 2 with Tegra 4 graphics enabled for example), and the game uses the same engine as Vice City and III, so I'm hoping for updates to fix it. Plus yeah, maybe the new kernel would change things, I don't know, we will see!
1.0.3 is out. Is there anyone, who could successfully run it on any ROM?

In tonyp build 05 I get black screen with 1.0.3 (same that in other versions) and it close after few seconds. I think problem is Tegra 2.
EDIT: In ICS "DOVAHKIIN 1.2" I get a license screen instead black screen but crash after 2 seconds.

Exactly the same with the TF101 ICS rom , it goes as far as to sign in to Rockstar social club, but never gets to the main menu. I'm really thinking that it must be a tegra 2 issue. If anyone else would like to check on their tetra 2 device it would much appreciated.
i think it is the game, like for example the gameloft's gangstar vegas on its first release i download it and i can reach the menu but when i press the start game after a few seconds the game crash, i use cm rom on that time so i decided to try the dj and still the same doesn't work
i think this game is the problem not the rom or the phone

Try a newer version if you can (I think it does the license error screen in 1.0), and please report back if it works.

just bought it. i think it just came out today. went in the application and clicked on "download rom" downloaded silent hill. 8 parts and there in rar format and 40mb each :O but when i click on "PSX bios file" it wont let me load the rar. doesnt even show it. it says "you must specify a bios file(normally named scph1001.bin)" i have no clue what to do. any idea????? thanks
Find a bios file online and set that as the bios in the emulator and u should be good to go. Try freeroms.com or just google psx bios. Be careful tho lots of bad files out there.

hey thanks guys for your help. i got it to work. tomatosoup was having the same problem. i loaded up the bios then hit menu and loaded up the iso and it didnt work, just quickly exited out. so i hit home and killed the app with a task killer and loaded the app back up and instead of clicking on the bios i clicked on the iso and it loaded right up. took a sec but it loaded.

well some of the evo users said that setting the fps to 30 made it run the same if not better than the ps1. my buddy had the moto droid and it runs just as goos as the ps1

Evo's processor is a bit faster than ours (even with ours oc'd )
I don't know what graphics setup it has, but I'm guessing it is better as well.

some games run decent, FF9 and silent hill run great. but others run like crap. mainly racing games. but i heard that alot of people are having problems with lagginess and sound is messed up. so hopefully an update will improve this for the hero. hope that helps
Help i think i have bricked my nexus one! It was flashing hboot and it fell of the desk, hanging on its cable and then popped off. Now it does not turn on. HELP!!!
Well.. Flashing a system/boot.img can't brick your phone, but flashing a corrupted hboot or radio can. And in your case, flashing a hboot was aborted, which means the installation is corrupted.
Sad to say, the only way you can fix this is by sending it to HTC for repair. They will probably see you've rooted the phone and all that, but they will fix it back to stock everything on your expense as this isn't covered by warranty if you had that.

150 bucks brand new? Dang. A brand new N1 costs roughly 300 bucks here. Whenever you buy a brand new item you get a warranty with which you can get a similar phone back or something equivalent if what happened to it wasn't your fault. Warranty is lost upon rooting/bootloader unlocking.
Are you sure that a second Nexus one costs just 150$?
If not, you could buy a RIFFbox or any other JTAG Device, altough they cost about 150$ too (and require some knowledge)

Did you buy a Nexus One to play HD games? Then I'm sorry to tell you that you should have gotten a PSP Go instead. Nexus One is a great phone, it is, no questions asked, but the thing is; today's HD games require both a faster processor and GPU. Nexus one features a single core 1Ghz processor and an Adreno 200 graphics chip. It gets the job done for basic games but doesn't do well with HD games (or HD 3D games, if that's what you meant)

Why don't you upload a video of you playing GTA III and I'll judge exactly how lag-free it really is. I have played GTA III on my Nexus and it lagged beyond playability.

Rocking CM7 rom with extreme smooth&stable kernel. Will try too record with one of my other crappy cellphone's, but i dont think a razr v3 is gonna give a clear impression
Got back to cm7, could not stand this horrible look like icrap thing. Reminds me of that iphone 3g that hit the wall....

Everytime I play Anomaly HD on my I9100G, it always freeze and hang.
For those who play this game on their I9100G, do you encounter the same thing? Is there anyway to fix/solve it? Or it just happened to I9100G because of non-compatible or something?

it doesnt freeze and hang on a particular level. it just like want to hang anytime it wants i dont know why, but usually I fix dalvik-cache through lucky patcher than I can play that level without hang/freeze and further to the next level. not sure that is coincidence or what

oic, got the latest version im playing anomaly HD v1.0. that mean im using the old one. hmm got to search the latest one.
well using an outdated version can be incompatible for our device so if you have a game with issues check weather it is outdated or not.i have played so many hd games on our device with no issues so far.but remember one thing if you have issues with the latest version then use an old version not too old that is.

use chainfire 3d ..with plugins..and you may use overclock..
it is better if you use temple run arm v6..which is compatible for mini

Was just asking opinion.
About the outlook the iphone wins easily. SIII is just to big. But IOS loose when compared to the SIII. SIII seems cooler in the inner look.
If it was smaller lets say like nokia lumia 800 would be great. !

I would propose a GB 2.3.6 based or a CM7 based ROM if you look at performance rather than ICS or JB based ones.
Personally I have installed Xtreme G on the Mini of my daughter. Its slim and fast.

Not sure which Android version you currently have on your fone. But follow a couple of Episodes provided in this thread.
If you have Froyo currently installed you need to update to Gingerbread first --> Episode#2
Then you can flash CWM 5.5.2.8 which is the best in my opinion for S5570 --> Episode#4
Then you can start the fone into recovery mode and do a CWM backup cause its one of its menu options

That wouldn't work, I bought them off play store, if you are installing cracked versions most new games have very good licencing, if you want to discuss this ask on those websites because this kind of talk is not allowed here

i heard a LOT of people saying that gameloft games lag so just to check (dont game on the phone normaly) i downloaded a lot of them (yes not legaly) and all of them including the heavuest of them all batman seemed to run fine even tho batman needed 30 seconds to settle on the first boot.
guess it was caching or something but after that it ran smooth.
so i dont see why they shouldnt work on this phone and shouldnt work smooth.
maby some people need to disable some apps or something i dont know im still to new to android to figur out where the problems lay but i know it can work just fine.

The phone has a quad core and 1gig ram for a reason. Its gamelofts fault for not optimizing games properly.
Working properly:
Dark knight
Wild blood
Gangstar Rio
MC4
Working badly:
Amazing Spiderman (lag throughout)
Asphalt 7 (some stutter and steering bug)
Nova 3 (lag during firefights)
