[Q] About Camera Update - Moto X Q&A

Is the camera update just a software update that was incorporated into 4.4, or was it a camera firmware update?
I never installed the update when i got my MX. I just rooted and installed 4.4 using this thread . So I wasn't sure if it was just software or an actual firmware update.

all camera improvements to date is incluided in 4.4
And the camera updates (software/app) will update using playstore.

There's obviously no official 4.1.2 for your country, you can flash other 4.1.2 or wait for it to be available

[Q] Bionic OTA Updates 4.2.2 to 4.4

I am running CyanogenMod version 10.1.3-RC2-targa on my Bionic. The android version is 4.2.2 but I would like to update the OTA to 4.4 if possible, or even 4.3. How can this be done? Do I need to put stock targa back on and then update it through Verizon, and then add a custom ROM?
It would be nice to do this so that I can keep getting the most out of this ole' dinosaur of a phone.
Some additional maybe useful information:
Kernel Version 3.0.8-g67d26a7
Build Number cm_targa-userdebug 4.2.2 JDQ39E
Been searching a lot, but can not find instructions for exactly what I need. Thanks!
Are you talking CM OTA or Moto OTA?
There ain't gonna be any Moto OTA as Bionic is beyond the 18 month upgrade window.
CM's last OTA for for CM10 is 10.1.3
If you want Android 4.4 you have to go CM11.
CM's updated to 10.2.1
I'm running SlimKat, works quite well so far, just minor nonconsequential problems.

[Q] Downgrade Camera only from 4.4.4 to 4.4.2?

Hi, it is possible to "downgrade" the camera drivers, i believe, from the OS?
i got recently a moto x 2014, with android 4.4.4, but the camera app have a nasty bug, the ISO setting dose not work at all. (in any program)
the ISO adjustment is really important to me, and looking at other topics, looks like the bug came with 4.4.3 update. the bug also is on the android 5.0 rom. (i intent to keep with 4.4.4)
any help?
