Hey Guys,
I'm searching the Sound file from when you type on the Screen. I only found the Keyboard Audio files.
Does anyone know where these files are saved?

When taking a video with the stock rom the phone plays a sound when starting and ending the recording. It does this even when the phone is set top silent. Is there a way to make it obey my volume settings? If not how can I disable the sounds?
Thanks

I think you can go to /system/media/ui and delete the audiofiles for camera sounds.
in stock rom I had a setting for disabling sound, are you sure you don't have that?

You can't do this easily. AndiCP made a camera mod that is silent, search in app section, but keep a nandroid backup before flashing it, and I don't remember if it is adapted for stock ROM.
Camera.apk has all sounds.
You can mod by yourself or use Andicp's mod.

I'm guessing you need to reboot since the OS might have preloaded the file on its buffer.
All - you do no this sound (pic/vid) is required by law in some countries right?
Hi guys and girls,
My question is exactly what the title says, can you force beats audio to always be on for what your ringtone/ notification tones.
I've had a search on here but couldn't find any answers.
Thanks in advance!

I'm pretty sure it is applied if beats is already enabled... I can hear the difference in my ringtones when i turn beats on/off.

I think that's a completely different issue. The difference between beats on and off is not as drastic as when you set a song as a ringtone and when you play it from the music player. I noticed how crappy it is too, but don't know why it's like that. I actually found this thread by doing a search for a fix, but no help so far.
Maybe dragging and dropping music files from your computer via USB to their respective locations would work. I'm sure the problem is in the mp3 to ringtone format conversion process.

Well if you can make a lightweight app that plays a silent sound in the background at all times (enabling beats 24/7) then it should work. That's the only way I've found to get it working.
It will cause battery drain though....how much exactly I don't know.

It will make the phone not go into deep sleep... This is a lot of battery drain i think...
There must be a trigger to enable beats with every sound.... But i dont know where to find it.
If we make the apk responsable ( dont know wich maybe prizm.apk?) A user app. Would this change something?
Every other app downloaded is using beats and these are all user apps.
How can we change the system apps into user apps?

System apps use beats too. I moved a few apps to system to see if any difference but no.
My guess though would be to try and mod the audio policy.conf
Or maybe mod the htcmusicenhancer.apk

In the audio policy.conf i didnt find anything that could enable beats. I dont have the tools to edit a apk file.
Opening the apk file with a zip extractor didnt gave me the result i would have. Coudnt find something that had to do with beats also.

Could be a framework thing but I haven't taken the time to decompile the One's framework yet. Other than that I got nothing. I asked over on the ViperOne thread to see if it could be added into the rom. Now to wait and see if the dev can/wants to do it.
I'm glad I'm not the only one interested in seeing this happen wish I could be more help but I know nothing about war you's are talking about haha

Definitely looking for this feature as well. Even for me, who's not really good at distinguishing music quality notice how different the music plays as ringtone and in Music Player with Beats On.
I've noticed this before too. I also noticed that, on maximum volume, the phone plays ringtones louder than music. I think the phone makes ringtones sound worse (through reducing bass) so it can play the ringtone louder than it would play music, and not have distortion.
I don't think there will be a solution for this...
I have modified my custom ringtone a bit so it sounds nicer then before. So I can live with it.

Well since Beats is just and equalizer app, how can we edit the mp3 manually to fit the same options as Beats use?
The old or previous MOVIES app showed different tabs like TV. Also it showed the film or tv info before starting the film. I really loved that than this new one.
Can someone please provide the old MOVIES app?

If you are using an odexed rom you will need to delete the 'SemcVideo.odex' file from /system/app then reboot.

Weird redownloaded. Moved and unzipped the individual files into their respective folders at the root folder. Still am not seeing them. I am running the official ota gpe 4.4 ROM converted from Tmobile USA . Don't know if that makes a difference.
sent from my gpe HTC one
Figured it out! I just deleted the existing folders and recreated them. Then after placing the files they were there. Bow in just have to delete the extras. I had to do some research and found out that system doesn't read from those folders. When they are placed in new folders named alarms, ringtones, and notifications then they are read as such. I am not rooted so that may have been an issue as well as I can't change permissions on stock as others can.

Easiest way is to follow link to policy as I only modded for mk7
Thanks! ! It is working now I did it with the alternative and there is no more sound when the watch is on vibtate (witch it is 95% of the time)
