Widgetsoid/Widgetsoid 2.x is a great (free) alternative to the other toggle widgets. I actually think it's better than any of the paid ones I've tried.
Oh, and I totally second Folder Organizer (the paid version). Best app I've ever bought for my phone. Endless possibilities.
I've installed HD7B3 on my S7 and most of the basic functions work execpt:
4G - no 4G speed or indicator in my status bar. (less than 3mb, one of the reasons i got S7 over the Tab)
Wifi bar / indicator doubles as the 3G signal?
Swype - not able to install
Will System updates work?
installing apps from Android Market takes a few trys before they install.
Android Market web - i choose an app to install to my S7 but I don't see it downloading?
Apps view - there's rows and columns cut off (portrait and landscape)
Status bar - can the size be adjusted
Sorry for all these questions, new to Android rooting.....
I've been looking for a way to get, hate to say it, iOS-like notifications on my lockscreen. AKA all notifications on there with the subject/preview.
The problem is whenever I implement any of the lockscreen widget opeions like Lock Screen Notifications or NiLS Notifications Lock Screen which work great BUT...
Whenever Sense shows a native notification or music controls, the lock screen widget doesn't show up. This applies to the aforementioned apps, Gmail, basically any lockscreen widget.
Oh this thread should have a question..
Does anyone know a work-around or mod to make lockscreen widgets show up consistently, or an app that evades this somehow, or a way to remove the sense clock?

I'm running Xiaomi.eu rom on my mi8se but the thing I don't like is that I can't have a glance a my notifications on the top of the screen without pulling it down. There is a AOD option but it does nothing outside MIUI apps and clock and also the brightness is too high. I was wondering if there is a possibility to swap the AOD from MIUI to the AOSP version with a flashable zip

Miui globe have a mod for move clock, notifications and center clock. I wonder if it possible with those mods to move clock on right side and notification icons on left.
Are there some slice of life changes in EMUI 9 ? Can we customize the UI with ease ?
A list of things i didn't like about EMUI 8.2 and is there some improvement made to them?
Cannot expand the notification menu(notification drawer) without unlocking the phone to perform simple tasks like disable/enable WIFI, DND mode, Data...

No notification to dismiss alarm 1hr before it rings. Loved that little dismiss Alarm notification
The default analogue Clock Widget and analogue clock in the Clock App both have Huawei logo. Why ? The Brand name Huawei is etched on the front panel of the mobile , I would like a clean home screen with just Analogue Clock widget on it.
When setting a Timer from the Clock App you cannot just type in the time ,instead you have to scroll through the numbers wheel to select the time for hrs, minutes and seconds.
What did you like the most about EMUI 9 ?
