Like everything else they make it's probably not...
Is it true the samsung 1440mAh is better than the 1600mAH or even out stock batteries? I read that it was even though i dont see how it could be.
I doubt that the 1440 mAh is better than the 1750 mAh. I think I'll get this slim extended battery! It's as much as the regular OEM, which is I think the 1600 mAh. But I'm contemplating if the 3300 mAh (bulky but with backdoor) would be better considering the price is too much? http://www.mythoslife.com/2011/04/nexus-s-now-has-extended-battery.html. Then, again, if you're a power user then it might be worth it.
interesting...
Like stated before, it probably isn't 1750. They ramp up the number to get more sales and usually worse than the stock 1440mah.
I'd rather get the Seidio 1750 mAh slim extended battery. It'll probably last better compared to the one from eBay. http://mythoslife-store.blogspot.com/2011/05/looking-for-extended-slim-battery-for.html.
Seidio had the same battery up a few months ago and had it labeled as 1600mah.

Great, you'll never know what you buy these days on eBay. Did you say that Seidio is the same way? My perception of this company is that their products are hight quality.
I'm not saying seidio is the same way... when the nexus s was released they had the same exact battery and description but 1600mah. Now it looks like they bumped it. I don't want to knock it until I try it. I'm not sure who to trust...

My NS4G came with the Samsung 1440mAH battery. It lasts me all day even if I use it moderately. I am looking at buying an extra Samsung battery and a battery charger so I can have a charged spare battery for those heavy usage days.
2 the guy selling the 2 extra batteries and the charger, I may be interested. The only reason I haven't bought them from ebay yet is I don't want to wait all that time for shipping from China.

but there is a general rule that says.
if its more MAH than stock battery, but do has the same size as Stock battery.its fake.
more MAH meens Bigger battery to actually make it work.

Increased mah doesn't always = larger battery. OEMs are notorious for skimping on batteries. Sure.there are limits in package size but OEMs rarely ever reach the full cell size. There's a reason Samsung has multiple mah batteries of the same outer packaging size. Hell, I have about 3 different nexus one batteries of different capacity that all fit with the standard backplate. The N1's battery drivers were written into some kernels and you can read (even alter) the battery controller's register values in real time.

I use the platinum 2x 3500 and it is the best thing. Battery is amazing. Never need to carry a charger. I charge every night and easily goes all day under medium to heavy use. I think my best has been 7 hour screen on time and 20 hours on 3g before I plugged it in. On wifi all weekend it does 40+ hours

I have a ns4g. I think seidio sells a specific 3500 for the ns but I am unsure. I don't think the back plate is too chunky on this. There are some butt ugly ones. This isn't. Can't argue w capacity anyways.

Batteries from China are a hit or miss. I've bought batteries from two different sellers on Ebay for my Nexus S. One worked well, the other died in about a month and wouldn't hold a charge. Just ordered two batteries and a charger for my note 2 for about $25. Will see how they turn out.

The gold ones are really a lower than factory mah rating. They just put a new sticker over the original battery. I advise to stay away feom any brand other than oem, anker, or onite.

The battery used in the Galaxy Camera is the same one as used in the Samsung Galaxy S II. So you can pick these up for less than £10 so it's no problem keeping 1 or 2 spare with you when you're out and about.
Due to the nature of this camera, the battery performance isn't fantastic as expected and Sammy should have put a bigger capacity cell in there. But at least replacements are easy to come by.

I hate to ask this question and get blasted if it's already been answered elsewhere...but this seemed like the most logical place for it. I know the different versions of the Galaxy s2 have different batteries.
Which one would one use on the Galaxy Camera. Going on a trip over to Asia and don't want to have to recharge the camera every 10 minutes. Saw two versions from Anker on Amazon and was hoping someone could steer me in the right direction. Because I'm a noob I can't save you time and post the links.

Thanks that's exactly what I was looking to do. But my dumb question is that there seems to be many variations of the 2 batteries and charger. Different mAH levels that say they only work for specific versions of the GS2. I'd hate to buy a battery that was too big with only a few days left before my trip and not enough time to exchange.
I assume that the different batteries that work with specific GS2s means that only one version works with the camera. Sorry to be such a douche about it. 1900 mAH that doesn't work with s2 II(SGH-I727) or s2 II(SGH-T989. 2200 mAH that doesn't work with S2I9100 etc. I don't know if you have as many versions to worry about on amazon as we do in the states since we have different carriers on different wireless technologies.
As long as the batteries fit shape-wise they should work. Anyway: the correct type is EB-F1A2GBU, 1650mAh.
But be careful, there are loads of fakes out there, just bought two (ok, they were unreasonable cheap) and they won't fit into the camera's battery slot (too thick).
Sent from my GT-P6800 using XDA Premium HD app
I bought 2 x Galaxy S2 1800mAh batteries and a charger for £9 off eBay and they work without any problems. I know there are 'fakes' out there with regards to the capacities but I have used ebay for replacement universal batteries for years for a whole range of phones and (so far) no problems. As ever pick a seller with good ratings and read the feedback etc and I don't see why you'd have any issues.
Regarding compatibility, I just used the original battery model number: EB-F1A2GBU and searched from there.

Just use Samsung original battery for Galaxy S II GT-I9100....
Samsung release two models, 1650mAh like the one that comes default on GT-I9100, and 2000mAh official extended battery. The size is the same, so both can be used with SGC.

"Do" take a chance, Anker make superb batteries that work either equal to or better than the originals in terms of life span and quality. I've tried batteries from other manufacturers in the past and had my first Anker, all the way back when I had my HTC Desire, ever since then it's the only 3rd party battery producer I trust.
I've tried others, but they just don't compare in my opinion.

Though it's a great price I can't justify to buy it because the current battery last me 1.5-2days. What do I do with the spare battery? What do you guys do? Buy it as spare and use it once a blue moon? Or switch every so often to spread stress of battery?
Removal of case is also tedious..

I agree. I see no point in a 2nd battery for the Note 2 unless you live in a place where there is constant power outages that may last a day. But if you are in North America I see no reason.

Wounded! That wasn't up when I was looking last night, and consequently ordered a separate charger just for the batteries lol.
Either way I can't complain, I got the whole lot cheaper than what the Ankers originally were for one.
Edit: I'll add your link to the OP so others can see it before jumping to order the ones I found.

How should you care for them then? I will probably only use it like once a week, but do I leave it at like 50% when I'm not using it?

Well, with my previous phones that I had spare batteries for, I alternated the batteries around, when one was depleted, I would swap it for a full one, whilst the other was left on charge.

But you should never leave these batteries fully charged. It ruins them. So thats a no.

Confirmed!
I'm no battery expert, but I doubt leaving a battery fully charged for a day, Is going to destroy it, that's like saying you have to remove your phone off charge once it's compete (which is recommended by all manufacturers).
If the battery gets fully charged at 3AM in the morning, I challenge you to show me a Muppet, that wakes up from sleep, just to take their phone off charge, in fear of damaging the battery due to over charging haha.
If someone does do that however.... then they seriously need to get laid and chill the hell out

Though it's a great price I can't justify to buy it because the current battery last me 1.5-2days. What do I do with the spare battery? What do you guys do? Buy it as spare and use it once a blue moon? Or switch every so often to spread stress of battery?
Removal of case is also tedious..

I'd rather have the battery and not need it than need it and not have it. For £6 it's hardly gonna break the bank. Agreed the Note 2 has a sh*t-hot battery, but it's still new to me and i have it in use ALL the time so i'm powering through the juice at a fair rate of knots. Anyway, you can never have enough power.

True that it is cheap, only time I considered a 2nd battery is when I was nearing the end if my contract of old phone and battery was bit tired. Though buying a battery now and let it sit there for 2 years isn't really cost effective imo. I've never had batteries fail on me, I'd like to know when is a situation where I would need power but not had enough (especially with this phone).
If you hike, or its for an 'emergency' why not just buy one of those 50,000mah chargers? yes they cost more than £6 but then you can charge many devices, many times, and actually let it sit there for ages as there is a lot of mah for natural discharge.
Not trying to troll but genuinely would like to find a valid reason.

Sv: [HEADS UP] Anker N7100 Battery on offer £5.99
Listening to internet radio drains the battery pretty quickly so I always have a couple of spare batteries with me to swap with. Don't like plugging in my phone all the time as soon as I'm close to an outlet.

I do have an external/portable battery charger too, but it's just not ideal when you're half way up a mountain, having a cables attached to the device you just want to whip out, check your bearing, then stick it back in your pocket again, it's just too cumbersome.
Having the extra batteries (for my personal situation) means, I can use my Note with MM Tracker or Memory Map, to guide me around the wilderness and not have to worry about conserving life.
I sometimes like to track the routes I take as well, that feature alone drains your juice like it's going out of fashion, If you want a fairly accurate track at least, as it has to poll it's position quite frequently.
I'll probably use two batteries at a time on a day-to-day basis and keep one, part charged. At the end of a day, I'll remove battery 1, put it on charge and use battery 2 the following day, then do the same the following week but replace battery 2 for battery 3. At 6 quid each, I'm not bothered that there will be a battery sat fully charged for a day whilst not in use, as it's not being left in storage fully charged long enough for it to be affected in my opinion, not short term at least anyway.
It seems impossible To find an anker or hyperion extended battery on amazon/ebay uk
. Does someone manage to buy one of them from uk?
