Yes, it would be a great application...

Try this. It's freeware: http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-download-persian-blue.html
hiya guys
am trying to change file saving recived via bluetooth from phone memory to mmc
any ideas how to pls assist
I needed this feature too, i found "Obex inbox" which works perfect
I think it's this one: http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-download-obexinboxex.html
Also think i found the thread of the developer: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=407291
(http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=266198&d=1263175613 Think this is the latest version of it (the last one i could find and the one i'm using...))
It's damn near perfect, if it only offered you to open the file when done transferring =) but i can live with that, having a shortcut to the BT download folder on my today screen gets me right to that folder in an instant, very handy!
thanks a lot buddy am trying it now lets see
regards kai

Hello to all the XDA family, its been a while for me. You guys have kept on rockin'
I need your help regarding something that got out of my hands apparently!!
I exported my contacts from my HTC One M8 using the native "People" app of the HTC Sense. It prompted me if I wanted to password encrypt the file, I sad yes why not, extra sec. never hurt anybody! Until now !!
It turns out that the file that got exported is a .vef file, very uncommon and I hadn't encountered it before.
I did my research as always, the Google contacts import thing didn't work for me, it accept only .vcf and .csv and I'm hopping you the great community of XDA can help me out here.
I happen to have some very important contacts save there that I must not loose hopefully.
Had anyone ever faced such issue, except from using an HTC phone, which I don't have right now, Is there any other way to get around this.
How do I get my contacts back from an .vef file ?!
Thank you very much to all of you guys and keep on rockin'.

help please
Greetings I am very much a greenhorn or a nubie to the world of Android but I must admit I'm having fun playing with my phone's even when I break them. Anyhow if you still need help i solved the exact same problem by not adding a password when i exported (Saved) my contacts to phone storage or is it called internal storage. Anyhow by not using a password the file that was created was "pcsc_pcsc_001.vcf" using my OTG flash drive I transfered the file from my One M9 to my Galaxy S5. It was a little more entertaining figuring out how to get the file to my ZTE it refuses to register any flash drive. In the end that one too got the file insralled. Still trying to fix the USB prob. I hope this will help you or any one else faced with the same problem Many a Blessed Days to all.

I posted one option for you on your thread but today I realized that if you no longer have an HTC it's useless. If you still need help with your problem then shoot me a text my name is Jose Barrera +1 907 360 7256 I'm in Alaska. If you are willing you can email me your vef file I will use my phone to convert it to a vcf and email you both files back. Up to you my friend.

Yes, it's possible. I just switched from a Lumia 950 to the Nokia 8 about a month ago
Here's what you have to do:
-Install "contacts+message backup" on your Windows phone and export your SMS & MMS
-Copy the file to your Android and use "Import SMS from Windows Phone" to import your messages
I'm a new user here and therefore not allowed to post links to those apps. I'm sure you'll find them by name in the app stores.
Enjoy your new phone
sms import

Hi.
I try to make my phone answer all text message when im driving (cannot answer, im curently driving.) but to hard to understand how to do it.
Can somebody help me with this One please?
Thanks.
The best way to learn is to view tutorials on YouTube. They show detailed step by step instructions on how to create Profiles and Tasks in the Tasker app.
I myself is using that feature, my phone is sending an automatic response to anyone who sent me an sms message while I'm driving. It will only send an automated response while my phone is connected to the car Bluetooth head unit.
Thank you but it is hard for me to understand because im French. I tried many ways but no résulta from it.
Could you send your task please so icould learn from it and use it for sure. I found macrodroid easyer to use as it is frendly user.
Thanks a lot for your time.
Hi again.... I went in wiki section and there is a task there with auto answer SMS... But way to complicated to understand. Sorry but im such newbie.
