in beanstalk 4.3 or couple of similar custom roms , there is an option to get swipe to unlock + pin
how can i know what is changed in order to do this ?
so i can edit it in my own rom
It's been a long while since my last flash.
I also remember quite clearly to NEVER TRUST the posts ppl make.
I won't get into details cause I'll bash in my keyboard.
If some one could confirm if the following is what I think has to be done.
#0 Root Device
I have Build Number 12.1.A.0.266
#1 Backup the original rom. ( Just in case )
#2 Unlock it.
#3 Flash Kernel with recovery mode enabled.
Which one? TWRP?
#4 Flash FXP303-cm-11-20140120-UNOFFICIAL-dogo.zip.
Is it the full rom or do I need to flash a main rom before then the above( update) ?
#5 Flash 4.4.2 rom?
#5 Flash Google apps.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Considering your device is from Fido, I don't think you can unlock your bootloader, which is needed in order to flash any KitKat ROM at the moment. However, you can flash CM10.2 on your device.
Say what...I need to unlock the boot loader?
The is no way to brute force it, delete it, wipe it, crack it or bypass it?
I found this on Sony's support page:
Instructions
First, you should confirm that it is possible to unlock the boot loader of your device by checking the service menu. In your device, open the dialler and enter *#*#7378423#*#* to access the service menu. If you have a tablet, click here to learn how access the service menu.
In your device, tap Service info > Configuration > Rooting Status. If Bootloader unlock allowed says Yes, then you can continue with the next step. If it says No, or if the status is missing, your device cannot be unlocked.
Click to collapse
However, it should be noted that most (if not all) career branded phones cannot be unlocked. It sucks, I know. My XSP can't be unlocked either.
And if you can unlock boot loader flash the right zip. Not the dogo one, that's for another phone. Use huashan (I hope I spelled that correct).

Hi,
Try these, maybe you can solve this issue:
Apply the Defreeze + Network Code if you still get the message “Unlock Unsuccessful”. It takes 5 steps:
1. Type your Defreeze code (or MCK): xxxxxxx and press Unlock button. You will get "unsuccessful” message again but don't worry.
2. Now type the Network code (or NCK): xxxxxxxxx and press Unlock button. If your phone shows “Unlock Successful" message, congratulations, your phone is unlocked. If not, proceed to step 3.
3. Make a hard-reset or factory reset of your phone. Please be informed that a hard-reset will restore your phone to the factory settings, so all apps, data and other settings added by you will be removed. We advise you to make a backup or save all data you want to keep.
In order to make a hard-reset you can either dial *27673855# on your phone or, if this method is not working, you can use these instructions in order to make the hard-reset.
4. After your phone restarts, type the Defreeze code (or MCK) xxxxxxxx, in the area below "SIM network unlock PIN" message or "Enter Network Lock Control Key" message. Press the unlock button. It will say "unsuccessful" again, don't worry!
5. Type the Network code (or NCK): xxxxxxxx and press Unlock button. Your phone should now give you the message "Unlock Successful".

I have a LB Z3+ softbank version (402SO), i'm trying deactive MyXperia many time but it's keep show "unlock allowed : No" . How can i turn it's to "yes", do i need flash back to LP .266 or what rom which can do it
Rooting Status went from "BL Unlock: Yes" to "rooting Status unknown"
Hey,
I am trying to unlock my G8441 by follwing the .pdf linked in this post . The phone was bought used and came with GENERIC_47.2.A.10.107 installed.
Follwing the guide it was downgraded to GENERIC_47.1.A.2.324 and a TA-Backup was created.
After the downgrade Rooting Status went from "BL Unlock: Yes" to "rooting Status unknown". Before BL-Unlock you are supposed to check the Rootingstatus an mine no longer says BL-Unlock yes. Also the security info just shows "none".
Is this normal or did I break something? Camera was not working after the downgrade, although after restarting the phone it worked again.
Can i proceed with unlocking the bootloader though Rooting status is unknown?
Attached Files show Configuration info pre&post Downgrade.
Cheers,
@Franz_TNT, when switching fw (upgrade or downgrade) you need to flash bootloader too (the boot/ subdirectory needs to be flashed completely including .ta there).
Hey @j4nn, thanks for your reply.
So, Rooting Status Unknown is caused by not flashing the bootloader and also not flashing .ta-files? The guide I use specifically stated to remove the .ta-files (and any persist-files). I use this guide because yours didn't list my firmware as possible target.
Should I flash .324 again and include .ta-files and persist-files?
How are the chances of my TA-backup actually being useful?
I only checked before downgrading (was fine), but i didn't check after downgrading and before making the TA-Backup. After the backup Camera just showed a black screen and was crashing. Then, after restarting the phone it shows whatever is in front of the Lens, but I doesn't focus and taking pictures crashes the app.
@Franz_TNT, oreo bootloader is not compatible with pie fw and vice versa. Camera and other drm stuff is depending on components that are part of bootloader. Bootloader gets flashed only if you have full content of boot/ folder present, including .sin, .xml and .ta files there.
Just follow the official guide here - that's the most up to date one - everything else is just a derivative of it. Only the target fw versions listed in the official guide can be working, nothing else. I am pretty sure if some fw version worked for ta backup in your case using other guide, it would also be listed in the official one. Do not flash persist.sin. If you flash bootloader from fw version you have on the phone, camera and security screen should work.
