Best headphones for inc?

Hello
I am on the hunt for some good headphones that I can use to listen to music and answer/talk on the phone. I got some headphones off amazon that said they were for the incredible, however you can't answer the phone by the headphone controls... Has anyone found some good headphones?

I'd recommend pre-ordering the Klipsch Image S4A's. I have the regular Image S4's (no inline remote/mic, otherwise identical) and they sound incredible. They're well worth the asking price.

I am notoriously cheap. Um, I mean frugal.
Awhile back I looked around for earbuds and found a few that I liked. I like Koss, though they can tend to be kind of bass-heavy (to the point of muddiness). The Plug by Koss is an example of this: they fit wonderfully but can be a bit biased toward bass.
I replaced my Plugs by Koss with a pair of black Yamaha EPH-20 earbuds. They are quite a bit "brighter" than the Plug but don't skimp on the bass.
I personally can't see spending more than $30 or so on earbuds for my cell phone, so I hope this helps.

No brainier when these come out. Inline control works with Android, iOS and WindowsPhone for $50.

I use JH Audio 13 PRO with my Dinc and they sound incredible but they are $1,150 ha ha.

I use a pair of JVC Marshmallow 'buds... they're $20 at Wal-Mart, come in several different colors, and sound amazing to me. Yeah, they don't have a built in mic, no external controls, but if what you're looking for is simply music, they're one heck of a deal.

I work for Bang and Olufsen, and we make a killer set, for about $200. I might sound a little biased, but honestly I could care less if you chose to by ours over another brand. Why? If I sell one, I make about 5 Bucks commission. And the odds someone reading this forum is going to buy a set from me? Don't really need to answer that one. That being said, hear me out about the inside scoop:
They are made out of aluminum, and aren't the isolation type that get shoved in your ear canal. You lose a little bass, but you can walk down the street and not get jacked because you are oblivious to whats going on around you. They have great sensitivity (don't need to crank your device, which saves battery life), and the stereo imaging is amazing. The highs are clear and sharp and don't break up. They also stay on your ears very well and are great for exercising. Plus, they come with a 3 year international warranty: If you break them, you can bring them into any showroom in the world and we will swap them out on the spot (provided they don't look like you ran them over with a car) if you have proof of purchase (we will help you out with this part by contacting the store you purchased them from).

While I have no doubt that the B&O set is very good, I have difficulty imagining that they're as much bang for your buck as (at least) the Klipsch S4s. I agree with a lot of your points (with Bose and Beats, you're paying for the brand, not for quality) but when you say that the B&O set beats all those, it should... it costs $200. The rest are $75-100, or cheaper if you find a decent deal (not too hard). As great as the B&O set may be, 3/8 the price for at least 5/8 sound quality (S4) makes a much better deal for the average, non-audiophile, consumer who wants great sound from their device.

but also to consider; the Klipsch ones aren't as durable. You'll probably go through 3 pairs in the time you go through one set of B&Os. $200 is for the earset, which has a mic for handsfree calling. 160 gets you headphones only.

How long are you talking about going through the B&O's in? I've had the S4s for about 6 months. That's longer than I've ever had earbuds before (I'm VEEEERY hard on them), and they still look and feel brand new. By my standards, the build quality is extremely impressive.

My buddy is on an earbud hunting kick and I've been helping him out. We've tested just about everything we can find locally and so far the best sounding are the Klipsch X10I. We found them locally for $250.00 and they are worth it. I have a set of JH Audio 13 PRO's and the Klipsch X10I's sound about 50% of the JH Audio and that's really saying something. Besides the JH Audio, the Klipsch X10I's are the best sounding earbuds I've heard yet.

I use these as headphone for music and calls. I cannot attest to any sound quality As I am somewhat hearing impaired(need aids) But these are able to play music loud enuff for me listen too. On calls I hear the voice quite well and the caller says they can hear me clearly.

I have a pair of Shure SE210s and I love them, but I can't recommend them unless you're planning on photo-shopping your receipt to make it look like they're still under the 2 year warranty when they break every 1.5 years. The audio quality is fantastic, and I like the in-ear design but they just don't hold up to what I think is normal use.

That's all you need.
I use the $50-$60 ViSang R03 / Brainwavz M2, and couldn't be happier.

3 Years plus. They will most likely last you well past that, but if they break within 3, you get a brand new pair for free.

I love the new Klipsch S4A great sound quality for a low price, plus it's made specifically for android

I'm going to sound insane compared to folks advocating $50-$250 headphones.
I use OEM Palm Stereo Headset 3.5mm model#3422WW. These are in ear, not in ear canal. They sound better than $30 & $50 headphones I've tried. Oh yeah easily had on eBay $3.50.

You - meaning the OP, adithh - need to find a way to demo both sets and then decide which one sounds best to you, seriously. Nobody else's ears are going to be able to do that for you.
I will say that in my own experience, I've yet to demo anything that Skull Candy has ever made that was worth even 1/10th the price, and to be honest my opinion is "I'm saddened that this company is still in business, but then I feel that way about a lot of companies like MonsterCable and many many others..."
Even if they're free they're just not worth it, but that's my opinion so...

I am a massive audio buff and I would definitely recommend the Sennheiser pair over pretty much anything else!

Sennheiser cx150's kill, IMO. You can find them on sale now and then for $18 at Newegg. They are second only to my expensive Shure IEM's. No need to spend the extra bucks on the 400's.

I love great sounding audio, however I was looking for audio on a budget, and something I wouldn't wince about damaging if I decided to use them bicycling etc.
For that reason, approximately 4?5? months ago I bought some JVC HA-FX3X in ear "monitors".
They can be found on Amazong for $29, which is a savings of $70 over local retailers, at least in Canada.

I bought them locally on sale for $29 myself.
All I have to say is that I have NEVER come across headphones with such strong, but amazingly clear bass and mid frequencies! The highs are excellent, but a lot of other headphones reproduce highs quite nicely too in that price range.
After letting them burn in, then go from a little on the harsher side to damned well perfect for the $100 price point, so buying them for $29 is a stea.
These models features a 10" driver and very excellent cables that do not tangle well, and they come with a carrying case that works so well.
The first time listening to them, focusing on songs with DEEP bass, it was like being kicked in the ear since I had the volume turned up too loud for the previous ****ty earphones that came with my phone. This does not mean they suffer sound wise for other songs. I regularly listen to music from bands such as Mumford And Sons which feature lots of acoustic instrumentation, so sound quality is very important when I choose headphones.
They DO NOT feature in-line controls, but that has never been a feature I look for, as its just something that drives up the price, or reduces sound quality at the price you're looking for.
I've recommended them to friends that are extremely picky, that don't mind dropping up to $1-400 on earbuds but bought them anyways at the $29 price point.. and admittedly use them as their main earbuds now since the sound is simply mind boggling for the price.

Out of those two, Sennheiser of course. It shouldn't even be a question..

Samsung HS330

So after watching a couple of GS4 unboxing videos, I've become pretty interested in the included earphones which, as far as I've read, will be available separately for around $30.
Now I'm far from an audiophile but I would still like some decent earphones to use. I was planning to buy myself a pair of these but since the HS330s have volume control on the in-line remote, I thought they might be better.
Since real-world testing is somewhat out of the question at this point, based on specs alone, which of the two do you guys think should have better sound quality?

I was wondering the same thing after reading this review. What got me was this: They offer better bass than just about any other pair of headphones you can find in a smartphone's retail package, although they probably won't fully replace any high-end aftermarket earphones, if you happen to have those. I was looking for something new so that I could retire my current headphones. So I collected an S4 for my mom today and tested out the earphones.
I was not impressed at all. I don't know what bass they are talking about. The max volume from them is also quite low.
To be fair, all the earphones that come with the phones I get normally stay in the box untouched. So I can't say how they fared against other headsets which come in the retail packaging.
I have a 10yr old pair of Sony MDR-EX70LP Fontopia Headphones which even went through a wash cycle and they totally blew the HS330s out of the water in every sound aspect. (I am not an audiophile, so I can't go into lots of detail, but they are much louder, have much deeper and louder bass and are clear and crisp. All the other sounds are there too and sound just as good. )
I don't know if this a an apples to apples comparison, but take it as my 2c.

This is really helpful. Thanks a lot. Even though I know I can get better, I'm actually content with the earphones that came with my Note 2. So if the S4 ones are at least as good as that, I'll probably buy them still. But if they're actually a downgrade then screw that, haha.

Oh that's where I'm going wrong then. I put it out for $150 hoping to accept $100. Folks in my hood are peasents.
I remember trying to sell a gear 360 camera v2 on Craigslist last year after the note 8 promo. They buyer was arguing with me that he didn't want to say more than $100 for it as I'd got it "free" comical.

Yup I sold my Gear360 from the Note8 as soon as it came, and used the same box from Samsung to ship it right back out when it sold on eBay. I searched the going rate and reduced it like $10. I think it sold for like $125? Either way, its pure profit. I dont want these headphones so I'll sell them for market value or less.

These Are not the same exact models selling for less on eBay and Amazon prior to this offer. People have gotten them confused with the cheaper regular n60 models and are selling the ones they got from this promo at the wrong prices. Look at the full model numbers.

I think people who are complaining about the sound of the headphones aren't really clear on the intended use. Airplanes, Trains, places where it's loud, these headphones are about as good as my Bose NC headphones. They are not audiophile headphones, they are fantastic headphones for those of us who spend a ton of time on planes and don't want to hear much but our music or movies. This way, I don't have to crank the volume up on a plane to max and blow my ears out trying to drown out plane engines, or screaming kids. Love them for free.

Nor my Beyerdynamics. It is obvious after using these they are intended more for their noise cancellation than audio quality. They are by no means terrible.

I got the free gear vr last year from note8, and headset from note9. both are not worth selling at that low price so I just open it and play with it for a few times then collecting dusts.

If you want to compare them, you have to compare them to other Noise Cancelling headphones. My Sony set are much better, but not on an airplane.

And is it just me but many reviews say they're not bassy among many other things. If I had to say one thing about them is they're very bassy, and my Beyerdynamics can make your chest rumble with the right amp and music.

I've never had NC headphones before. These are staying and getting daily usage! Most I've ever spent on any headset, headphones, earbuds , etc is $100. I classify myself as an audiophile but more so for the fact that I LOVE listening to music and get in my feelings(puns 4 dayz)!
If there's an equalizer, I feel like any hearing device can be made to sound good. Of course there's a limit but these sound damn good with the treble is adjusted a bit!

I still don't have my phone so I definitely don't have the free headphones but the reviews I've seen say they kinda suck and definitely aren't worth the $300 retail, more like $100 at the highest. Anyone else feel this way?

The headphones are cool, I just got mine today. They "feel" high quality, the controls are well made and snappy, but not too clicky. The bag and packaging are really top notch, like 7/10 maybe 8/10 (no leather?! OMG!!)
The noise cancelling part really works, and is fun to show my coworkers who haven't experienced that before. It takes out 2 out of 10 of all ambient noise, which if were being honest is almost all background noise in normal settings. Inside my house it takes out all background noise. On my porch near the interstate it decreases highway noise by about half.
The sound quality is good. I have a set of in ear Beats I paid $300 for, and they sound better than those. The volume goes louder than I want to listen to, and the base is better than all the other headphones I have, but I do love me some base (so there could be giant sub woofers on my head and i would be happy).
As for cons, a guy at my work also makes a good living being a DJ, and he refused to try them on; He said they look gay. So, idk if we trust his fashion judgement or not, but I guess hes gonna know what gay headphones look like... lol.
If I was paying for them, I'd happily pay $250, as they have good sound, actual noise canceling that I can tell is working, long battery, good construction, and well made and just plain nice case (and they fold up and fit right in there with a little side pouch part for the cables).
And no, I'm not interested in buying anybody's pair for $250 lol

Only tried them on briefly today via wired connection. Sorry but they sounded like rubbish. no bass at all and tinny. I'll read the manual next time and perhaps play with it more.

Headphone quality

Is it just me or the headphones that I got with my M20pro are lousy?
They are white apple looking ones. They are realy uncomfortable to wear and the sound quality is mediocre. I don't expect studio quality, but for a 900-1000 euros phone, I expect decency at least. I can endure 40 mins to hour, then my earlobe hurts and I have to remove them to rest my ears. I never had any problems with any headphones, but tbh I allways used in-ear ones.
Even worse, I wanted really bad to have Bluetooth heaphones that have wireless charging option so I can use my M20pro to charge them. So I read that maybe the best option is to go with Huawei freebuds, bcs they are kinda meant for this phone. But I saw that they are the same design as this ear-destroyers of headphones. So any advice or suggestion is welcome.

Freebuds I got with the handset free are actually quite comfortable. They are entirely different than the headset that came in with the phone.

I never used the ones that came with the phone as I hate having a cable going from my head to my pocket where my phone usually is.
As far as wireless goes, I'm not yet sold on true wireless as I find their batteries are too small. Yeah you can use the case but if I have to do so every 3-4 hours it's annoying (usually use them on a 8 hours work shift).
Anyway, all that to say a year ago I ended up ordering this cheap one while waiting for something good to come to the market.. and was really not expecting much but been super impressed for a pair of 30$ earphones. Sound is all right for the price especially because of their shape, they fit nice and tightly in your ear and have better sound isolation than most regular buds that come with phones (huawei, apple, etc) which I think helps improve the illusion of sound quality when in a bus etc. Battery last about 8h. Been very happy with them:

I am actually okay with that 3 hour battery.
Small disadvantage, I am from Serbia, Europe and Amazon do not ship products to me.

I m using Funcl AI with my M20P, this supports APTx which is an added advantage in terms of bandwidth and sound quality. I brought it for $49 USD. Now its available on Amazon and indiegogo.com

Mine are really good!
The standard plug in headset that came with my mate 20 pro are really good!
I've just got some jabra evolve 65t ear buds and I prefer the sound quality of huawei's.
I've been tinkering about with all the sound controls and options from the jabra sound app and from my phone and still I can't get the jabra earbuds to sound as good as the huwawei standard headset.
