Problem After upgrade to Kingdroid v5.1

Hi,
I just upgrade my GNote GT-N7000 from Rooted GB 2.3.6 to custom ICS Kingdroid v5.1 . The installation was smooth without prob. But after all installation complete i notice 2 problem with my GNote i.e.
1) Wifi was very difficult to grab IP address
2) camera was gone missing.
I tried to find any solution but no succcess.
Appreciate any expert here to help identified what is wrong with my GNote.:angel:

Flash Abyss 4.2
Reboot Recovery.
Full Wipe (Cache/Dalvik/Data)
Flash Rom.
Reboot System

i see... i was do the same as per your comment previously. let me try again to reflash the rom. another question here, after upgrade to kingdroid, i run triangle away to remove the the yellow triange and reset binary counter. if i re do again the same process to reflash the ROM, is the yellow triangle will appear again? any pro and cons?

It will not occur... Im sure.. It occurs mostly when u flash via pc odin.

Doing a clean install will mostly eliminate problems when flashing Kingdroid Roms?
question here:
Im planning to flash Kingdroid v5.1.1 over version 5.0. Can i Flash it without doing any wipes? or wiping still a necessary step?

No camera on kingdroid 5.1
I have flashed the rom as per the procedure three times but the problem of no camera persists.... Please help. Somebody...

new update: i've tried to redo overall flashing but the wifi still prob but i notice on other AP e.g in my branch office and also public wifi e.g starbucks was no prob. I guess maybe the network config is causing this prob in my GNote.

I have a problem with my camera, samsung galaxy mini. i can't use it.
When i open the camera apps, suddenly appear
"Camera failed"
"ErrorMessageHandler.handleMessege(-1)"

i use original rom...i don't change anything about camera...

Did this problem occur from the first time you bought your device?

no...he Was working well before...

What have you done just before that error occurs?e.g.:tweaks,mods...
if you don't know what's the problem i suggest you to wipe all from recovery (if you want you can use titanium to backup apps and restore them) or to make a clean install with odin

Faced this error long time ago it doesn't help even if you flash stock through Odin even the people at the service centre don't know how to fix this
Fortunately I got it fixed
Here what u do
Root sgm
Install cwm
Install cmx
Wipe
Install touchwizcm
Use for a day you will notice that sometimes it works and sometimes there is error
Now when camera works quickly install latest firmware through Odin and you are done.

[Q] Xperia X8 On GingerXperia 2.3.7 Wifi Error

Hello i recently flashed Gingexrperia to my Xperia X8 and i can not open or close the wifi it says error.
1) I checked the wifi modules the tiwlan.ko and the sdio.ko and they are there (location : /system/lib/modules)
2) rooted phone
3) STOCK Kernel
4) Wifi had a problem even with android 2.1 and the thing is that Factory reset would usually fix it but i tried that on the 2.3.7 Rom and nothing.....
So thank you and please help.

Is your WiFi working when you are on STOCK ROM??
If no then it's probably hardware problem
If It's working on STOCK then check is WiFi working in ROM thread ,maybe developer couldn't solve wifi bug so he left it like that
If developer made WiFi working then try this:
Full wipe,flash chache partition,mount /system,format/system ,wipe dalvik chache,wipe battery stats
Re-flash rom

1)Yes the wifi worked occasionally with the stock rom and by occasionally i mean that when it was not working i had to factory reset a bunch of times to get it working.
2)No other Xperia X8 users have a similar problem by using this Rom (i checked and the only thing that was the cause was the kernel)
Also i have tried many Stock kernel Roms and they had wifi fix and wifi built in but the same thing happened every time.
3) I have already done those things but none of this work (or all of them simultaneously)

If problem occurs on every ROM you install then it's hardware or software problem(not sure where WiFi belongs)
But ask some other xda user who knows things better than me

1) wiped all caches

3)Flashed Gapps (wifi fix zip)

I am sorry but ginger Dx is for Stock And alfs kernel and i have the stock kernel version!!!

I think here is the problem.....
you flashed gapps with wifi fix.That is the problem,I guess.
Re-flash everything again...DON?T change anything in file you've downloaded--->leave SuperSU and flash antoher gapps without wifi fix

New version v31b STOCK---> HERE
Try it,you have nothing to lose

nah it did not work
1 i downloaded the files
2 coppied them to sd
3 wiped cache
4 wiped data / factory reset
5 wiped dalviks cache
6 wiped battery stats
7 flashed rom
8 flashed gapps
9 rebooted the phone
It does not give me an error but when i go into the wifi settings and open the wifi it says "Sorry and below that Activity settings (in application Settings) is not responding.
And below that i get Force Close or Wait as options "

go to settings/applications/manage applications/All/Wifi/Force close/clear data
if above doesn't work ...

I am sorry but i dont thik that wifi is an app ... anyway it may be in some roms but i have never seen wifi app i went there but there is no wifi app.... i dont know what else to do but basically i can do this thing by factory reseting your phone.

Z1 4.4.2 (14.3.A.0.757) Camera dont work.

Hey guys.
I just updated my Z1 to 14.3.A.0.757 and now the camera wont work and i dont know why?
When i open camera and press takke pic. its not Auto Focusing and the Lights turn on and nothing happends.
Then its just stay whit full lights on and dosent do ****
So i have to press lockscreen button and then back on.
You guys have any idea?

Did you wipe data/cache before upgrading?

It's a bug from Sony, since there are many including myself, suffering from it. It made me downgrade to 4.3 since camera is a big deal on this phone.

Just do same install and wipe data/Cache then?
Dont know why i need to delete data?

Used NUT's download page then i found the Firmware. The Stripped and flashable solution.
Dont know what LB or UB stand for
Dont know why the camera wont work now.
Just did a fresh install of C6903_14.1.G.1.534_[NUT].ftf.torrent and the camera still wont work.
I am lost guys please help me.

LB = locked bootloader
UB = unlocked bootloader
I also used @Nut's .757, my bootloader is locked and have never suffered from any camera issues.
Unfortunately my only suggestions would be to wipe cache..

I have UB.
I installed 681. and now camera working seams like only firmware the camera working on are 681.
Or do i have to do something advanced to get the newest firmware whit out camera crash?
Dont understand why only 681. working whit the cam.

I have noticed a trend with UB and camera issues. are you using a custom kernel? If not, i would consider relocking your bootloader or flashing your back up if you made one before you unlocked. Once thats done and you confirm camera working on .534.. follow this quide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=52407809&postcount=2 this page is by @gregbradley

Long press power button....long press on shut down.....u will be asked if u want to reboot in safe mode ......select yes.....after u r in safe mode reboot automatically....i had some issues in camera.....this fixed it...hope it works fr u

Go back to 534 using flashtool, then re-root your phone, then install a custom recovery, then install a custom rom, don't boot, boot to flashmode and flash the global or region specific FTF for your phone not the stripped version, obviously taking care not to include TA and System in the flash, also don't perform a wipe from within flashtool on the second flash.
Done
Obviously do this only when all else has failed, should only take around 20 minutes max

Very strange now i am on 14.3.A.0.681 and i have installed all the apps phonebook bla bla bla
Now i have backed up in TWR because this is working everything is working.
But how can i upgrade now to the newest?
Whit out mess this up again Dont want to go back to 534 again takes some time
I did go back to 534 then rooted it then flashed whit stripped throug TWR in to 681. so camera is working thx god
And phone is Unlocked B. dont know if that have anything to do whit it?
And if you dont have a rooted or UB whoud the camera work then whit the newest firmware?
I think its very strange camera only working in 681.
But that dosent maters cuz i am a nooooby

No I dont think so, I'm pretty sure you can relock your bootloader. There should be a guide in the develpment section.

Finally some god news. Best of all Camera are 100% working.

upgrade or downgrade into 4.3 thats hope it will works

I had this issue with .681 using nut method aswell.
Followed all directions and wiped prior to flash in recovery. All was fine but.camera was pitch black and fuzzy it would take a picture with flash but only crap.
All I had to do was
back up using titanium
Enter recovery and factory reset
Wipe dalvic cache
Reboot
Reinstall vital data only from titanium
Do not restore any camera app or data
Working perfectly.
Hope this helps and is untested on .757

Front camera not working

I'm using teh latest version of Mokee (4.4.4) on my LG P880, the rear camera works well, but when I switch to front camera I get an error saying "Unfortunately, Camera has stopped." I tried cleaning the camera app's cache and I also tried using another camera app that I downloaded from Google Play but they're both not working. Is there any way to fix this bug? Thanks!

Go to the development page of your custom rom and check if only your front camera doesnt work. If it is reported as issue etc.
Then you can try to clean install the rom wipe everything needed and clean istall rom and gapps.

had 2 same thing with 2 P880's maybe it's just a problem of this phone had it with stock rom.

Ok, thanks, I'll probably reinstall the rom some day since I can't find it as an issue of Mokee.

You can also try to clear cache/data of the camera app in the settings. If the front camera was working earlier with this rom.
EDIT: You can also check for ROM updates and update it if any updates availible.

I think this thread can be closed i don't have the phones anymore.
