Hi! I don't have rights to write in the general section. So... russell664, thanks for ReVoluTioNMoD. This mod is great.
I have only one question. Is there any way to add multiple language support in AOSP dialer?
Hi, I'm thinking of installing this on my desire c... I'm currently running cm10 on it with v2 Prometheus kernel. Love it, silky smooth, has everything, except I need WiFi hotspot to work.. This revolution 3.3 mod attracts me as its de-sensed and has the asop look (which I personally prefer). Does WiFi hotspot work correct on this? Did you come from stock ROM before... does this run a lot smoother?

Mobile data APN patch for Revolutionmod
Hi, I just tried a few different versions of revolution...de-sensed v3.6, and super stripped v 2.1
On all of the I'm having trouble getting mobile data to work.. I noticed there is a patch for the APN, but the download links not working... Anyone have it, or a working link?
Also are the kernels in the different versions of revolution mod the same (i.e each package has different speeds in it... I'm running the 766mhz fine. But do I need to flash a new boot image when trying out different revolution mods? I have been, which has made it more laborious..)
Obs
Flash sense based kernel one time and as long as you don't install cm10 you don't need to reflash kernel

Hi, I'm looking for a custom rom for a Sprint Tab 7. anyone knows where I can find one?. I have tryed the CM7 but wifi won't work all the time on it.
Right now there really are only 2 good options for the sprint tabs.. Jt's cm7 kang, or the stock rooted that rodderik posted in his sprint mega dev thread. Sadly those are our only good working options.. I've been running Jt's cm7 since I found it, and haven't had any issues with wifi, other than the fact that it for some reason changes the wifi mac id with each update.

Whats the link for that J rom and is it much better than stock.

Finaly I have make it work the Jt's cm7 kang rom. so far is the best for the Sprint Tab. Please Developers, don't forget about us Sprint Tab users!!!!!!!
Please post link for Rom.Thank you very much

Depends on the version you are looking for.
CM7
ARHD
CyanVivo X
Those 3 I would say if you are looking for Gingerbread, ics or JB
Its amazing how many of these threads pop up..
It depends what u are using ur rom for.
For Gaming, the later builds of CM10 are recommended as it is lightning fast and has high performance... However it is still in its early stages and is still full of bugs. Once these are ironed out, i think it will be one of the best roms for IncS performance-wise.
If you want a rom which has a balance of performance and battery, I would suggest ViperVIVO. It is highly customizable and has many devs dedicated to its work. This is quite a popular rom, but can be a bit slow, at least for me.
Then you got roms like Sabsa, Blackout, Project X, which all vary in features and in software.. Sense 3.6, 4.0 and 4.1..
Hope this helps.

If you are looking for completely bug free ROM...it has to be Android Revolution HD
And there are few which are nearly perfect.. or about go perfect like cyanvivox, sabsa prime.
Just try them mate..and you'll find your perfect ROM.

Yea when i had Sabsa i couldnt either... U arent missing out a lot, its just a couple of bug fixes.. I think there was a manual flashable zip there somewhere.. Also, v12 is coming out soon, so when alirez releases the link, it will most likely be standalone. Patience is the key my friend.

What are you looking for in a ROM:
1. For tweaks and good level of customizations, you can go for IceColdSandwich 8.3 (currently inactive though)
2. For an improved version of HTC Stock ICS ROM, you can go for ARHD
3. For Sense 4 ROM, try sabsa prime, it has less tweaks but included JB butter and other applications.
4. For a different UI experience, try the Paranoid Android JB ROM or MIUI ROM

Recently i switched from my evo 3D to O4X ,ive been using the lg stock rom with various kernels for a while ,yesterday i flashed CM 10.1 it seems nice but lg's soft just kinda seems more personalized and feature rich ,with cm i feel kinda blank ,like its just not that fun to use it ,i know its the stock android but still... Which one is the best in your opinion? Which combo setup suits the best for you?

I switched from evo 3D too... First i were using stock for a while, then i flashed cm 10.1, but after 1 week i flashed stock rom via KDZ, because i like stock rom more than custom roms on o4x.
Both have Pros and Cons. At the end it's your choice of taste.
I know I could flash CM and give my phone a somewhat boost. But honestly, I do like the LG Stock interface more than the CM one.
Right now I'm running v20A with Idoka kernel, some tweaks trough Trickster app and my battery + performance has improved quite a bit.
I like a device for its long battery,
Im on cm10.1 newest nigthlys
Running rock solid good
Set my cpu to 1000mhz and stock kernel
Battery is very satisfying for me
I do miss the lg stock rom sometimes but i dont like the bloatware and battery life

You can do it anytime while you can boot into software upgrade mode by holding volume down and inserting the usb.

All credit goes to Team Venum for this mod. I just found this and wanted to share. It works perfectly for our HTC One's especially if you want to run an AOSP, CM, AOKP... Etc. ROM with a screen protector when the home and back buttons don't work. Tried this out after installing GlassTr Screen Protector and required the most recent kernel that hasn't been released to developers yet.........

"Hi all, this is a tweak I made to my Sprint LGOG Roms and it works for the ATT LGOG. Just flash the zip, wipe dalvik and cache and reboot. Makes your screen super fast and twice as responsive! Enjoy! Note: For Sprint Stock based roms and CM/AOSP based roms.

It should. I'm using Pananoid right now. I personally haven't tried it with a sense based rom yet or with a different kernel.

Where did Venum say it works with any device? He did this for the Optimus G running stock roms, not any sprint device. Im not sure about all those files in the zip but this being for another OEM device I wouldnt flash it till Venum confirms those are stock android files and not device specific, on sense based stuff of course.

He didn't say anywhere that it would work. I just got bored and decided to give it a try. Was tired of not being able to flash aosp Roms because of my screen protector.
Now if you have any .02 please do tell and let people know. I'm just stating it worked for me and I'm pleased.
Working just fine for me but I have noticed a significant battery drain because of it.

I flashed this the other day, I'm running ElementalX 0.4 on DKv10 (Sense based) and it seems to be working for me. I haven't noticed a battery drain either.

For some reasons I want connect my phone to my TV throug HDMI cable . Is the vivid support it ? Is the CM 10.2 or Pacman 4.4.4 RC - 2 or other rom support it ? Should I buy the cable or not ?
Best wishes
No ROM but stock-based ones have successfully been able to use mhl. So, as to my knowledge, neither PAC ROM 4.4.4 nor cm 10.1 support it.

And about sense 4.1 ROM ?9
I don't know, have you searched through those threads?
Sent from my HTC Vivid 4G using XDA Free mobile app
Yes, the Vivid/Raider/Velocity supports MHL (Media High-Definition Link).
However, it only works on Stock Roms, you just have to buy a compatible MHL cable from your respective market and you're good to go.
Not necessarily stock ROMs only guys..rogers HTC raider originally, now s-off and running pac 4.4.4 BUT.. When I was running Blitz 2.5.0a (ICS rom) I was using a cheap Chinese mhl cable with no problems. Has anyone tried it for sure on any of the new ROMs? I have one still and am now tempted to test it out. Might have to dig through a couple drawers in a bit.
*edit*
Checked it out. At least on the PAC 4.4.4 kitkat rom mhl most certainly doesn't work. Ah well. But it definitely did on the Blitz ROM and I assume the sister ROM pegasus would also work as they're built from the same source. I thoroughly enjoyed Blitz and it was my dd for quite some time.
