I would have posted this in the development thread but can't as I'm a new member. I seen I wasn't the only one having problems with GApps on CM11 so thought I'd just let people know I was able to get it working by clearing more than 13 MB from /system and installed the GApps from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2265564
I am not the developer of this of course and all thanks go to the OP of that thread for creating the package.
Could someone please repost this link in Dev thread as it maybe useful to more people as its smaller than the one already posted there.
We don't even have cm11 on our Ace, why should we need gapps?

There was a post/thread I found on here a few weeks ago about a ROM for the xt890 ,I think there were three versions of the ROM a regular aosp theme an experia theme and a dark theme if I'm correct.
Problem is no matter how much I search and look through the forums I can't find it and I'm wondering if anybody knows where the thread is. I remember it not being under the development section though.
All help appreciated.

Thanks for replying but that's not exactly what I'm after, it was a ROM I was looking for that came in three versions but thanks for pointing me go that theme any way. Its just the ROM was really stable and had two day battery use for me and now I can't find it.
Which one you where using? The linked Thread is the right one, but I abonded the tweaking and focused more into the theming stuff. I still got the Rom zips online, so I can give you the link as soon as I'm @ home.

There's the Xperia one, for the AOSP Rom I've to log in, but my password was generated with Last Pass and I can't remember it right now
But my PC knows it, I'll link it, when I'm @ home.

You should post these ROMs in the development section. They're stable and battery efficient.

NOT MY WORK. THIS IS KERNEL OF MOKEE OS
Hey Guys. I extracted the important things of Mokee OS. Boot image and Modules and i packed them together in a zip. The zip was from iodak v8.
Nothing is compiled from me so there is no source code. Its just packed as Kernel-Only from Mokee OS.
Features:
Smartass v2 Govenor
Gaming Gouvenor
Speed Tweaks from Mokee.
The Kernel performs very well playing games! No zero Lag in Dead Trigger 2. DONT USE SMARTASSV2 it will just turn your 4x in very hot toaster
CM10.2 compatible and no phone fc in newer nightlys! Based on Mokee OS from 26th October
Im not a developer maybe a modder so i cant fix bugs....only way to fix is to repacking it with other modules blabla

Bad News guy.
I think the thread will be closed from Moderator when he see this because no GPL or Source.
I know that is from Mokee but Moderator.

Only Mokee developers? Interesting. I can see commits from more than one developer from 4X HD boards. They should be included too, don't you think?
Just as a general note, pure shares (not developed by the OP) should either go into General section or Themes&Apps (depending on what you are sharing )
But as it is a kernel, we moved it in here, instead of General
And about MoKee in General, well... let's forget about it

I mean it's not worth discussing
All the time I have been @ xda, i haven't seen one properly, self-developed kernel.
All kernels I have seen were cherry-picked, and "sold" under their own name
Ahh okay
now i get what you mean
I think that is the shadow side of the the open source things of android and sometimes its the light size

Pulled by Starfighter.
I deleted the ROM hence the problems occuring with other users. I know you liked the ROM and worked pretty well. But oh well. I'll get it re-compiled from source then it'll be back.

This isnt a place to ask questions by the way. Dev forums are for development threads. Questions go in the QA or maybe this could go in general

Fortunately, I'm not as lazy as you appear to be. I made the effort to turn my head a little to the left and saw that you have 2 posts. That corresponds to the number of posts you made in this thread alone. So who in the other thread did you ask?
