There's no 'best' custom ROM in the same way there's no best colour or best food. It's all subjective, try some out yourself then come to a decision about which one you want to use.
There is none.

Hi just wanted to see if any Deva are still trying to compile Ubuntu for out device as I found this post in the nexus s development section

and since it is nearly identical hardware in both phones I wondered
1) is any one still working on this
2) what's the worst that could happen if I flash it to my i9000 as I have used ROMs which cause my PC to recognise my phone as a nexus s in the past

I want to know how to install "updateframework" V4 Enox Rom.
Wipe data factory reset> install rom enox
the "updateframework" should I install the CWM mode or some other way?

If it is a .zip (as I suppose it to be) just flash it through CWM and you're good to go.
