I have recently bought a Samsung galaxy s3 mini and there is no haptic feedback on my setting and back button, i've tried to find the setting everywhere but couldn't find it. i've gone through setting > sounds, no such option. I've also searched the entire internet but got no answers! Anyone please help me?? im getting crazy because i cannot feel the feedback!

I've tried that. ..not working on stock rom. .unless you are using aosp, cm, etc it will work. ...
Damn, do u manage to fix that or find a solution??
just install DU battery Saver and turn off the haptic feedback in the setting of that app then you can now uninstall that app if you don't want to use it.

If you had no backup of efs folder, there is no way to restore it. Now you have a nice MP4 player running android.

Hmmh... fine then, reflash your phone with four-packaged firmware. That'll solve Camera and Sound problem.

Hmmh... some four-packaged firmware is in sammobile.com
the camera problem wont be solved even if you flash four package frmware ....trust me you have live with it....unless it magically starts working like it did for me....

Must say, first disappointment with this phone was THERE IS NO ****IN HAPTIC FEEDBACK on touch buttons! Correct me if I'm wrong.

Usual tweaks, bug fixes and random stuffs samsung does, nobody knows what they include in updates, just flash it if you have the time

Flashed I8190_I8190XXAMG4_I8190XXAMG4_I8190OXXAMH1-PreRooted and at first look i can't see any difference.
TIP: I'm using USB JIG to enter download mode.

Like i said, they only have the tweaks and bug fixes in the updates, won't have any ui changes
hope someone will answer my question.. i don't know why my sms automatically converting to mms when i wrote long messages, my problem is it never keeps me sending my messages. is there any ways to fix this? please help me, i'm only new to this phone (s3 mini). thanks in advance.

Bro I'll give a advice. I can see you have not much experience nor confidence in what you will do. If I was you I give a try in maclaw's cm11 first & if you don't like it you can always flash this awesome stock (modded) rom. No one here (s3 mini forum) has that issue & btw the link that you gave me is for Samsung Galaxy S I9000 not s3 mini, so if you still want to flash that sms fix you should ask to the dev (on his thread) if it works on s3 mini. hey mate.. did u fix already the problem which the text messaging/sms has a limit to 3-4 pages only and when it reached the limit its automatically converted to mms?

Only the Samsung roms have this problem. Cm roms dont do that. So you can flash cm ,go to maclaw.pl ,downloads, s3 mini and then cyanogenmod. Whichever version you want, I would suggest cm 10.2 cause doesn't have many bugs. Otherwise if you want to download a Samsung rom that doesn't have that problem, check the android development forum you will find many of them. If you have a deodex Rom you can flash the secMms mod which is found on s3 mini themes and apps forum. If you don't know what deodex means our you are odexed follow the previous advice. And a last thing: HAVE A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Another thing you can do is to install xposed framework and download from the xposed installer the "disable sms convert to mms" module, enable it and then reboot

There is a option under the settings menu in S7 for that option and also it has warning about that option is still experimental. So maybe in the future upgrades we can get it too..

You can use Samsung Galaxy Labs. One of the experimental options is Show all apps on Home screen.

How to install - still a question. You need to make update package which will be accepted by stock recovery. But as I know this package should contain Samsung signature.

Firstly I apologise for starting another thread. But I have tried everything such as disabling most Samsung apps, keep brightness low and alot of other solutions people have suggested in other threads.
After upgrading to lollipop this the battery has become terrible. Attached is the screenshot. It's an unlocked note 5.
I don't want to root it so any help would be greatly appreciated. Is there a way to go back to lollipop without rooting? ( I'd prefer to avoid this route if i could)

Make sure you search for the correct country you're in. A quick search shows

All you need to do is find the original firmware for Lollipop because you're on Marshmallow 6.0.1 now and Lollipop is 5.1.1
