copy these to the internal storage and install like normal.
Save them on your phones storage and open them with package installer.

why not just download yourself a 4.3 rom and you can grab all the apks you want from the zip?

Yes it was a version mismatch. Downloaded a ROM which matches my OS and could install the Calculator, Sound Recorder and the Ringtone Trimmer apps successfully. :good:

My HTC One froze up with the screen that says 'Enter password to decrypt storage'. The chat support lady made me factory reset from the bootloader. I lost these apps which had me pissed alright. Really happy to have found them here.

Friends I have a problem with him eXistenZ v4.3.5 rom, as I have insufficient permissions to write to the respective post, I play I put the issue on this forum, the downside is that I have the notifications level with some applications, such as: gmail . facebook messenger, facebook, etc., when any upgrade of one of them comes to me do not appear in the notification bar and does not emit any sound, maybe someone could give me a hand with this

do a fresh installation of your stock rom and install existenz rom.
or you can revert back to official rom as 4.3 is coming in few days

its your choice bro to go to stock...and to update 4.3 you should be on stock rom with locked bootloader

If your bootloader is unlocked, yes, if not, don't yet know of any that actually works.

For one who has a lock bootloader, The only way I know is that u have to downgraduate to a vision which is easy to root and REC, Andriod 4.1 for example. After that u may update to the latest vision by a flashable zip using the CWM, then flash the kernel by flashtool.

True, I actually did that before now that I remember. I just made a deodexed/zipaligned/rooted 4.3 flashable zip ROM out of the latest .199 FTF, but I haven't tested it yet; I haven't seen any other flashable 4.3 ROMs for XTX.

haha,I have made a flashable zip based the .199 ftf too. and I am using it now, If your root script works well in the 295, It will work on thr 199 too.

Cool. With mine I first want to see if I can manage to add Philz recovery to the stock kernel which I'm currently using, that way it will be a complete flashable zip file, with recovery and everything.

By any chance is the zip you made deodexed? If it is, does "Settings" force close when you open the sync menu for your Google Account?

I keep the rom odexed, no FC occured, but I also hear that someone else are suffered from the FC issue,u may ask @leo, He said he had solved the FC issue

Well, I initially flashed the version found here, but after booting it wouldn't detect my Sim Card, so I then flashed my version, and the only problem was what I mentioned in my previous post - Settings would FC every time I'd open the Sync menu for my Google Account.
Every time I flash a ROM I always wipe /system for good measure, but then I tried again with the initial version that wouldn't detect my Sim Card, except this time I didn't wipe /system manually (which supposedly is done by the script anyway, from what can be seen in the updater-script), and now it's working fine, no issues at all.
i see the widget, but theres no icon to put it on a homescreen
I downloaded the ROM that Mike1986. Created to check if it had it and it has the calculator in it. I'm not sure if he added it to the ROM or it comes with other carrier versions. Here is a link to his thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=51383192
The ROM is a large download, about 1.2 Gb in size. I can upload the calculator apk file and share it if allowed.

That is the the Sense 5.5 calculator. This phone does have a calculator app in /data/preload, but it is deleted when you unlock. I have attached the Sense 6.0 calculator to this post.

Everything in /data gets wiped, I think he means why does HTC put the calculator in /data/Preload instead of /system like the rest of the apps.

I think MassStash has a copy, he was asking for the unlocked data partition so he can compare what is missing after you unlock.
This is fully deodexed rom 10.5.A.0.230 for C5502
Requirements:
- rooted 10.5.A.0.230 ROM
- fully working without any "force close"
Installation:
- reboot to recovery
- flash deodexer.zip
- reboot
Now your ROM is fully deodexed!
