I went to buy the galaxy s I9000 to the Samsung outlet... The salesman told me that Samsung have stooped the old model Samsung galaxy S... instead they have new model of Samsung galaxy S i9003 ... is this model can b use for flashing the Roms from this development thread of Samsung galaxy S I9000?

19003 is a cheaper model of i9000. I9000 is still sold.

Nope... I9000 and I9003 are diff... These roms should not be flashed on I9003...

There are no official updates, and will never get one.
If you are that much interested there are some ICS based Custom ROMs in the development section.
PS: In future, please don't write letters too big and bold when starting a Thread. I'm sure even not doing this, your thread would get noticed.

[Q] is our galaxy note affected by remote exploit bug?

Many sites are reporting about Samsung android phone running touchwiz vulnerable to a bug which could remote wipe the device. The articles list galaxy s2, s3, but not note. Can any expert confirm whether our note is vulnerable or not. As Samsung says they have already patched s3 and a patch for s2 is in works.

The 4.0.4 update has already patched the exploit.. So of you are on 4.0.4 no worries.

[QUESTION] AllianceROM for I9305

Hi All
So I was thinking of bringing ny rom to i9305 or s3 mini. You can read and see the features here...

I wanted to know what the userbase is like for i9305 compared with S3 mini? Would there be plenty of people here who would want to try it?

I must say i'm can wait for an AllianceROM for I9305, the userbase is bigger that on S3 mini the have nearly 6k posts and we have 14k+ and i see people that are buying i9305 now that the price is down (the ones that don't want to buy, or can't a S4), plus we have a 2Gb ram on the phone that will help in future.
In the end you decide but i thing that i9305 is the better option.

I would love to try it, sounds exiting.

Ok thanks guys. Ive got agreement from the mrs to get a second contract but first I need to wait til I get the £49.99 upfront payment via my donations. I thought this wouldnt take long seeing as over 8000 people downloaded my s2 rom over the last 2 weeks but it seems everyone likes something for free. Will bring the rom as soon as I reach that target.

Thanks for all your effort in creating alliance rom for s2. Spending numerous hours coding & compiling is not an easy task, Kudos on your work and hope to see some more in the future.

I kept my sII only because of your rom and it s still going to be my main phone, till I will see alliance rom for sIII I9305.
i wonder what marvels could a device with 2 gb ram and alliance rom by goldie on it achieve.
I hope this says EXACTLY how much I would love your Rom on the SIII i9305.

I just got a Galaxy Note 5.Previously i owned a Note 4 which i think one of the most powerful phone of last year.One thing i don't like about Samsung phones is TouchWiz.So i installed CyanogenMod.The other ROM i installed is LolliFamous.
As now i have a note 5 i am waiting for these two ROMS.So guys which ROM and Kernel you are waiting for your Note 5?
