[Q] UOT Kitchen Problem :(

Hi, so I'm coming across a problem and I was hoping someone could help me out.
I cooked a file and put it on the SD card of my Optimus V. I then tried to flash it and got the error:
E:Error in /sdcard/U0t-08-18-02-59-1.zip
(Status 0)
Installation aborted.
So I went back to the pickup link and saw that there was a workaround so I did that too. This time, I got this error:
E:Wrong digest:
META-INF /com/google/android/update-binary
E: Signature Verification Failed
Installation Aborted.
Can someone tell me what is going on with my phone? Do I have to change something?

Edit: My phone is the Optimus V and I have Bumblebee 2.4 as my Custom Rom. My recovery is Xionia CWMA.

Hello, i have a Nexus One in Android 2.1 update1, when i try to update with PASSIMG.zip the recovery don't found the zip and when i try to install the update.zip the recovery say:
E: Can't Open /cache/recovery/command
E: failed to verify whole-file signature
E: signature verification failed
Installation aborted.
PLEASE HELP ME I NEED UPDATE TO 2.2 FROYO

Why updating to 2.2 froyo..
I would suggest to go for 2.3 gingerbread which is very stable and smooth.
Or else you can even try 4.0 or 4.1 or 4.2 or 4.3, to get the real feel and see what lies in this versions.
Installation guide for flashing any ROM is available. You just need to search it.
Just follow the steps correctly and you are done.:good:

Hey guys! First of all I'm sorry for the thread but I'm a bit desperate. At the moment I have OmniROM 4.3 installed which replaced CWM with TWRP. I'd like to install CM 11 but it gives me an error:
Code:
set_metadata_recursive: some changes failed
E:Error executing updater binary in zip '...'
Error flashing zip '...'
I have googled a bit and I found this thread, but it's a bit complicated for me: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2516253.
Is there any way to replace TWRP with CWM? (Except restarting everything with Odin)
I'd appreciate if you guys could help me out.

u can try flash temporary CWM recovery and try to install CM11

Status 7 error.

I was using cocore twrp .. to get cwm I flash cocore cwm ..

Hi everybody,
I've gone and goofed and I think I manage to delete a folder I wasn't supposed to. Anyways, I can boot into recovery and bootloader.
I can send files to recovery via adb and I was able to push the newest CWM recovery without issue however when I try to install any rom I get
E: Error in /data/media/rom.zip

If I try to sideload the rom I get
E: Error in /tmp/update.zip
(Status 0)

I tried following the instructions in this thread.

Any idea what I should try next?

Guess I got discouraged too early. I ended up flashing twrp instead and did a sideload that way and it seems to have fixed my issues.

im quite new and i was trying to install custom ROMs on my gt-p1000. my tab is rooted, but i didnt do it myself
i installed rom manager from the appstore and tried to install cwm and twrp, but when i try to boot this happens:

Internal MMC checksum verify failed.
Installing Package

E:signature verification failed

i assume im directed to the normal recovery mode, because i cant install custorm roms from here because there is some sort of check which doenst pass.
I tried to repartition using Odin, but no success. I just selected the checkbox for repartition and reboot and waited. But that didnt help.
Does anyone know why this is happening?

same as me, i have try any way to install my customs rom with adb,odin, etc
i have done root my device but it always fail to load the custom roms
