Did you remove android before using doctor? You must use acmeuninstaller to remove android then use doctor.
Peace

I did uninstall and doctor but gets stuck 12%, I tried many doctir version. I even did the new partition making and it created lvm2

Several threads other than the one I posted. Read through a few. As a last resort there is tdebrick. But that should be a last resort last ditch effort.

Personally I wouldn't be using tpdebrick in this instance. If the touchpad was totally dead and unresponsive with no signs of life at all, then yes, go ahead and use tpdebrick. But this touchpad is bootable into webos recovery, so thats not necessary to use tpdebrick.
As Moody66 says, there are several threads, in this forum and others, dedicated to this problem, - your solution lies there, but not tpdebrick
Peace
Edit: this guide is one of the best, helped me when i was in the exact same situation:

That's exactly what I followed and I was success until the doctor part which gets stuck. I wanna get this thing alive more solutions if possible

Again. There are already several walk through on this. On this forum and wiki. Google webos doctor stuck at 12%. Takes seconds. There is literally 45 step by steps.

Wel said. And not a single thanks….

I recently had to doctor the touchpad and followed the instructions from this thread. I've found that it can be a pain to start over with a clean install but well worth it in the end.

I need help, freaking out

So I followed the guide found here
androidtablets.net/forum/nook/3960-nc-news-nook-color-software-update-1-0-1-a-2.html#post24111
I followed the instructions but the nook bootup menu would just loop and loop and loop so I shut it off
I left on the nook color bootup animation loop for like 5 minutes before turning it off. I assume it installed everything fine but I'm freakin out.
Can I just unplug my microsd card and boot it up all fine?
You could update to the stock 1.1 firmware which will overwrite your root, register etc the device and use autonooter 3.0 found here to re-root it.
Good luck
I want to revert it but the usb charger isn't doing crap. It's just sitting there now not charging over 15%. The nook is still rotating the animation bootup logo and won't charge. I have no way of reverting it now!!
Sure you do. Restore to stock.

Agree'd you just need to get yourself a CWR sd card, and boot it up with the right files to install. Read everything on thread and the other thread it refers too. you will be fine, Nooks are 99% unbrickable.

I had almost the same issue as you. Bootlooping. I was freaking out to. But follow this and you will be fine.
Bootlooping is great, because it still boots. It's worse when the screen does nothing.

Alright man, got a new problem. Black screen. Now I understand this is a bootstrap problem but all those files that are listed in your link to unbrick are all linux files. I'm not at all familiar with linux. VERY familiar with windows. Please get back to me!!

what you do you mean they are linux file? Becuase they are Tar? and Gz. those are just standards for Compression, just git Winrar. or 7zip and you can uncompress them.
^^^ What he said.
I can tell you with 100% certainty that if youre bootlooping then going through a full restore described in that thread will work. I myself went through this three days ago and I use windows on my PC not Linux.
Not trying to be an a__ here, its just that there is no need for us to dilute these forums with the same information over and over.
You mentioned earlier the charge level being 15% and not charging, how did you know the charge level?
Is it possible now that your battery is fully depleted? Is it safe to assume youre using the stock nook color charger and cable (silly question perhaps but it does make a difference, the nook needs more power than a PC's USB port can provide if the nook is on...)?

[REQUEST] Dell Streak has a virus, NEED HELP !!??

Hey guys!
I need some help. A friend of mine came to me with a Dell Streak 7. The streak currently has 2.2.2 on it and at first seemed to be pretty stable. However, after navigating a bit on it, things were constantly force closing and crashing.
So I decided to do a factory reset, first through the settings, and when the Streak turned back on, everything was still the same. So my next try was through fastboot. Did full facory reset including user data, looked to work fine, until it turned on and it was EXACTLY the same!! I tried gingerroot to get root and then flash a new ROM and hopefully wipe it that way, but NOTHING, has work.
I am pretty good at this stuff and never ran into this type of problem. If ANYBODY has any ideas on how to get this completely wiped back to factory or even rooted with a clean boot image, i'm all ears!!
Thank you in advance for any information you guys can offer!!

Well, thank Dell but you can't reset using the Android tools, you have to use their custom recovery to do it. Which is why it's exactly like it was, and it'll remain that way. You'll likely have to send it into Dell.
And yeah, douchebaggery is tagging your thread with "virus".
Restore to factory settings using nvflash the instructions r preety straight forward. Here's the link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1018809&highlight=nvflash
Just follow the instructions if ur not sure read them again and again. If u don't understand some of the terminoly just Google the search terms ull be OK.
There is a medicine for your bug its called honeystreak or should i call it the transformerfreak lol

[Q] Will using WebOS doctor erase android?

So, will using WebOS doctor overwrite Android and Moboot? Im supposed to be selling this thing today and I can't scrub android off using any of the usual methods. Additionally, the only time I can ever get the thing to connect to a device is when im using a mac and there is scarce information regarding removing webos when using a mac.
Either way, I want to WebOS doctor this thing but I dont want a brick. Please let me know!

When I Doctored my touchpad android was not overwritten, but I had to reinstall moboot with Acmeinstaller.
In webos you can get a remove android patch in preware, though I don't know how it works. I've just read about it.

You need to use ACMEUninstaller to remove Android. After that, you can use wevOSDoctor to reinstall webOS. But I don't think even that will remove your user info from webOS. I think you have to clear the cache to do that.
I bought my TP used and it took me awhile to learn how to clear out the previous owner's accounts.

I'm sorry, but you aren't going to get rid of Android any other way. You might try re-installing Android via ACMEInstaller and then running ACMEUnistaller but one way or another you've got to get the uninstaller to work.

Hi I've used Remove Android it will only clean all android related files from boot.
ACMEUninstaller is the only simple method .

[Q] Lost root, moboot, and cant boot into recovery

Was running moboot .38 with twrp 2.5.0.0 when I decided to flash schizoid 1.25(?) over the march 6th release. Didn't like it so I wiped ROM and restored backup. After reboot, it went straight to schizoid. That's all it will do.
The question is: can I, and how can i put my HP touchpad back to "stock" so that I may use acme installer3 and start from the beginning?

You could try using ACMEUninstaller, but I'm not 100% certain what will happen.

Make sure your TP is chargerd and reboot it using the power and home key button. Once you do that hold down the volume up key and while it plugged into the PC. That will get you into WebOS Recovery so that you can push acmeunistaller then you will have a HP Touchpad with WebOS only were you can reinstall the rom from acmeinstall2 or acmeinstall3. I had the same issuse.
thanks!
After much trial and error, I was able to reset the touchpad and install my fave ROM (schizoid). The instructions in the posted threads weren't that great on details, but the answers I was looking for were found in deep in those threads. Thanks again for all the help!:good

First i did all the steps up to the "open Novaterm", since i was having trouble with it(like many other people). After that, i followed the instructions found at the top of page 12 in that thread. this got me to a fresh start so that i could install acmeinstaller3 and any rom. Good Luck.

[Q] RockMyMoto - need a bit of help

I made a few judgement errors while playing with my phone one day (vzn android 4.4 rooted) and ended up getting stuck in a situation where I had to RSD back to stock. I started over, but now I am getting hung up on attempting to root. I am hoping it is just something totally stupid I am missing so I can get it solved and be on my way.
I am currently sitting on a fresh install of 4.2.2 (post camera). I have re-downloaded RockMyMoto and unzipped it. Completely fresh file. Everything is a clean install. On the first time of running it, I get this message:
System is not write protected...

I am not sure what is happening or why it is happening, but I am hoping someone else knows.
I've tried wiping data and cache, tried RSDing a couple of times.
This happens both when I am following the tutorial JCase posted and when I am using the moto toolbox.
Thank you in advance.

I tried the toolbox. I got the same error. Otherwise, yeah, that toolbox is awesome.
When I rooted my phone the first time, that toolbox hadn't yet been updated, so I did it all manually, but Ive rooted a couple of other phones using his tool. He is an awesome guy for releasing that tool, for sure.

Perfect, glad to hear that got you going! Yes, it's a shame that JCASE has closed his rockmymoto thread so this cannot be posted there, AND xda-developers says I don't have enough 'points' or 'cred' or whatever to post this fix directly to the Developers forum. So here I am, randomly replying to people with this fix I made. Looks like this time, xda-developers got the hero they need, not the hero they want. lol
Anyways, cheers mate, enjoy!
