[Q] Statusbar at the bottom? - LG Optimus 4X HD

Hey guys!
I search for a xposed module or app or something else to get the statusbar at the bottom.
I'm using CM11. there is a new feature called "double tap statusbar to lock screen" and I like the idea
but my problem is when I'm using my O4X in one hand it's not really comfortable to get my finger on the statusbar for double tap :/
hope there is something available which can move the statusbar to the bottom...
regards nbock

The only thing I remember able to do that was a layout changer set to tablet style. But it was implemented in a custom Roms settings.
Search for tablet layout/phablet layout. You may get results

But PA/ P.A.C most likely won't have the double tap on status bar to sleep option which the OP wanted the status bar at the bottom for

If CM have it i thing PAC will implement it too.Since it is "all in 1" rom.

i use Nova HD R19-35 with Horse Power 2x extreme RC1-R -Kernel and - Reloaded ICS 1.9b2
thanks

That's a new feature in ics that I think is nice. Why do you not want it?

hmm... thats a funny feature!!
im on the lockscreen: normaly i unlock the phno by sliding the circle to the right side !
NOW i can pull down the notification bar and unlock the phone
are you shure this is a feature or a bug ...
It's a feature. If you for example get an sms you can reach it by just drag down the notification bar. You don't need to unlock the phone to reach the sms.

ahh ok that sounds logically to me
ok then its a good feature !
but it only works on slide to unlock, right ?!
thanks 4 your help ...
Yes. I use a pin and can't drag down the notification bar without unlocking.

Soft key mod like this...

I love this on my Galaxy Nexus!

I'm going to have to assume you're asking a question, like how to get that sort of thing on the Nexus 7.... It's AOKP's navigation bar.
Now you know where to look.
yeah or cm's bar can have added buttons. I believe he is looking for softkey mods, to change the lookof the softkeys

[Tweak] How to remove the softkeys/navbar WITHOUT remove the statusbar.

Edit your build.prop and add this line:
qemu.hw.mainkeys=1
It's cool if you like to use LMT or PIE, that permit to use the full screen and keep the statusbar features.
Need a reboot.
Don't use "expand desktop" option.
Off course, activate another Softkeys/navbar solution (LMT,PIE...) BEFORE add the line in the build.prop !
LMT : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1330150
PIE is roughly the same (less functions) as LMT and it's directly inculded in PA, RootBox...
Please report how it work on other ROM/Kernel.
Edit : Now using PA, just go to Settings/Hybrid Property/Interface dans set Nav. Bar to 0.
That do the trick.
Enjoy
Thanks, didn't think it was that easy.

Thank you for this. Great information. Sadly can't access that file yet until I am rooted, but I do look forward to it.
in pa you simply set navbar to 0%. done. no reboot needed. and pie is not part of lmt. lmt is a ready made google control tweaked a bit. pie is an open source control written from scratch. everything that goes beyond simple navigation is pie and was pies from the beginning. lmt took/replicated some of these ideas now, but please someone stop that meme already, i seriously cant see it anymore. everyday lmt gets another idea from us and people then come and say we got it from them is like a kick in the kneecap.

Doesnt make a difference in PA, same effect as setting the nav bar to 0% in PA settings the issue I have is that PIE works in basic mode where there is only the buttons no notifications when I activate it. Would rather have that function as I liked that part of it .
If you look at this thread again Moles, any idea?.
Thanks op . this was bugging me for ages !!!!

awesome..thanks for this...which one would you recommend though? LMT or PIE?
I used LMT but it seems like it lags a tad. Hitting the back button on my nav bar responds a lot faster than touching the back button on LMT...or is it just me?

I use PIE included in Rootbox box and no problem, no lag or anything esle. It's a a quitte difficult at the beginning to get the right movement but a bit of training and it's good for me.
I use LMT on my Galaxy tab without lag too...

I use Button Savior with this line added to system/build.prop "qemu.hw.mainkeys=1". Works like a charm. Button Savior is available at https://play.google.com/store/search?q=button+savior and provides hidden soft keys navigation available with a simple swipe or by clicking an app icon. Works with any launcher.

Just taking a guess but did you accidentally change permissions of the build.prop file or mistype the command?

Yes. It will come back if you delete that line.
Although it's been said already, make sure you have an alternate nav key option installed before adding that line.

searching that icons from LG 4X HD lockscreen

Hey guys (hope that's the right section)
today the LG 4X HD 4.1.2 Leak was released so I flashed it and there are this new fu**ing awesome lockscreen Icons
(attachment)
but they're only available on lockscreen so is there some Icon pack which brings such Icons for homescreen? I did see one but they are rounded black and I like it much more like this ones on lockscreen
and if there isn't such a pack -is there a way to extract the icons from system files? and where do I find them?
Looking forwards to your replies with hopefully such icons
regards nbock

Just get the theme for LG ROM , from any thread. The icons are all the same , Just you need the mask files to make them lookalike.
I can help that in 2 minutes time if you want.

Hey sorry for late reply! Hmm I think it's diffucult because they're ONLY on lockscreen the ones on Homescreen are the "normal ones" and they are just looking like that since I updated to android 4.1.2 and that's a leak so which theme should be like this? (I'm not a themer just wanna have that nice Icons!)
Sent from my LG-P880 using xda app-developers app
Those aren't the actual icons. If you press on them and move it will show the full icon. Its just a mask on top of the real icon.

Possibility for a toggle mod for Android revolution Hd rom

I couldn't locate much but I was hoping to know if theres a toggle mod or anything for the android revolution Hd 10.2 Rom.
It's pretty convienent and incorporated in most other roms, then again the dev did make it to resemble stock look.
I looked under mods and tweaks ,but couldn't gather if any of them may have the toggles in any of them.
The stock widget power menu sucks .

Are you talking about quick toggles? If so, since ARHD10.2 is android 4.2.2, it has quick toggles built in. Access it by two finger swipe down on the status bar or press the grid button on the top right of the notification shade.
