I live in India..this says europe..can i safely use this?

My salsa's bluetooth not working and i need to send it to service center...
But my phone was rooted and s-off... Can it be problem about guarentee?
Also i need install turkish original rru to my phone...

Yes. Htc will make a big whine. Don't go to them for it. What's the problem with Bluetooth?
I think there is a thread giving links for stock image on salsa forum. Check it out.

Which rom are you using. Might be a little app for Bluetooth from play store will do the fix

I use Iconic rom (or may be iconic-s i am not sure exactly) on my rooted salsa with data2sd...
When i checked my phones hardware information now bluetooth address look "unavailable"..
Can you help me please?

That is fine. To see bluetooth address unavailable is completely normal. Check out some market app.

Probs using iconic s, that had Bluetooth issues. Rom? As dropped due to being slow and cumbersome. I would suggest using a newer rom personally.

Anyone know how I can unlock my Three branded phone?
I know Three will unlock but charge £15/20!

I'd like to know too, having hit the HTC Dev "sorry it aint going to happen" error message when transferring the code across to the HTC site. I've seen sites that will do this for money so I know there's a solution out there. After many years of Android and unlocking I don't particularly want to pay someone for something that should be public knowledge.

I got a code from eBay for £3 and it worked fine... Send me a pm with your email and send you link....

Think you need s-off before you can remove carrier locks.

Seriously? So you cant got to HTC Dev and unlock the bootloader that way as I did with my 3 HTC One? Is there no way around this atm?

Can't say about UK, but my HTC One on 3 Sweden was no problem unlocking bootloader from HTC Dev at beginning of last week... Just wanted to clarify in case other swedes read and give up in advance... Find it strange that the same carrier would have different policys in different countries but fairly new to the game so I'm not sure.

I unlocked my 3 UK branded HTC one via htcdev
If HTC one is not in drop down menu
Then select other models option
This worked for me

International ROM
Can anyone here give me simple starter instructions to reflash my vodafone htc one with international stock rom
I dont want a custom rom just a non vodafone rom form HTC, EU or World.
It is SIM unlocked Bootloader locked.
Can this be done without rooting?
Just switched form Samsung where it was easy to switch to a different rom by flashing without rooting...is there a similar way with HTC?

Thinking of changing form an Xperia Z with a locked bootloader - would you be so kind as to confirm whether the HTC One on 3 UK has a locked down bootloader? The XZ bootloader is locked down tighter than a duck's behind.

I have this model. This model is designed for China and Russia. And unfortunately, firmware from the usual ONE to him is not suitable.

Have just returned my Nexus 5 for a Htc one in Red. Phone is obviously stock at the moment straight out the box fresh.
Want to install the 4.4 update but what i have seen so far seems to refer to the Google play editions getting it. I am sure im just missing something somewhere but could someone please just advise me...

Android Kitkat 4.4 is currently available only for US developer edition
If u want Kitkat immediately convert your mobile to developer edition one

confirmed what i thought then, want to keep my htc one with sense (hence the move away from nexus5) so i guess its just the waiting game then until they release it for stock One.

U will get the official Sense update by end January. BTW official CM11 nightlies are available

Or you can unlock,flash custom recovery and use a sense based 4.4 custom rom.

The developer edition is Sense, Google Play edition is AOSP(mostly)

I thought the Red One was CDMA (Sprint/Verizon) is yours a GSM Model ?

In the UK my gsm handset was purchased from phones4u who I believe had the exclusive on this colour.

i forgot to ask above but what actually is the benefits of the developer addition?

Personally i dont see any benefits. It gets updates a little bit sooner but nothing big. If you get an actual developer edition device though you get 64gb of storage and unlocked bootloader
