"Dark Knight" Joker Boot Animation

Well I thought it was time that i throw my hat in the fire and started with an idea.
The idea grew into what I have put together for everyone to enjoy. I would like to do a theme but i thought I would test the waters and see if the community liked it and then move on with the theme. This is my first one so be gentle
Now for the disclaimer:
If by flashing this you release myself and anyone involved with this project from ANY damage to your phone of any kind not that it will but just in case gotta do the ole CYA!!!!!
This may seem easy to most but i started mostly from scratch and then with help from a good friend (qbking77) and a new friend (ZigSVO) i am proud to present JOKERS GAG REEL.

Well i guess then that from what i have seen between here and the views on qbking77s vids that ppl would like this to become a theme. I am working very hard to make that happen for the community and I have been resently tapped by the ACS as a tester (for now.....) so i maybe able to expidite things faster with the help of ACS. The theme will be great and it WILL NOT BE released unitll it is 100% because (of my OCD) and iam hopeing that i can get it recognized and endorsed by ACS.............. So unitll then stay tuned..............

Custom Splash Screens + Requests

Solar's Splash Screen Thread
I will be creating and uploading splash screens for use on our Thunderbolts. They are going to be generally simplistic as that is my personal taste but...
I am also taking requests:
Simply link an image here (Cropped or not - I can crop it if needed) and I will do the rest. Yes, it is an easy task but some people would rather have others do it for them and it will give me something to do
For best results use images that are 480 by 800 pixels or bigger. If it IS smaller than those dimensions I will either need to stretch the picture out or center it which in either case wouldn't look great.
The only way I will even bother with images smaller than those dimensions is if the background is white and it will look good centered. I am doing this to keep the quality of these splash screens up.
PM NOTIFICATIONS
From now on, as soon as your splash screen is uploaded and added to the thread I will send you a PM so that you can come and download it. That way, you don't have to keep checking back to see if it's done or not. If you DO NOT want me to send you a PM and would rather check the post yourself, at the end of your request just say 'NO PM' and you won't receive one.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS (As per Rom-Addict's Thread)
- Rename to PG05IMG.zip
- Place on root of sd card(not in a folder)
- Boot into boot-loader
- You will see:
- 'Update splash'
- Select yes update splash
- Wait... When done:
- Select reboot

Alright got the first one done.
The other 2 are a bit small for a splash screen and won't come out that good as they will either be stretched or have weird white borders on them. I edited the OP to mention the size they need to be in order for them to turn out well.
I was able to do the Soul Eater one as it already had a white background and looked good centered.

Ahh. Didnt know that about being too small. I'll see if i can find some larger ones after work, but thanx for doing the one.

If it is still on your phone, just copy it to your PC and upload with an online image hosting site.

EOS Bootanimation

***UPDATED as of 01/19/11***
Here's a link to the newest version. I fixed the issue where wallpaper reset upon use. It seems to be related to using .pngs in the bootanimation. Never heard of it before, but it means I have to use .jpgs, meaning we'll have to suffer with a bit lower resolution:

Hey everyone, I spruced up the EOS bootanimation included with the ROM a bit. One is just smaller, one is smaller and has a bit of a glass effect on the spinner. I'll keep messing around with it, but thought I'd throw it up for now in case anyone's interested. I'm no photoshop expert, still learning, but hope you like them.
All the credit for original design goes to the EOS team, I've just modified it to my taste.

I tried installing but it failed via CWM.

It's not flashable - you just need to move it to /system/media and rename as "bootanimation.zip".

[REQUEST] ICS Boot Animation Wanted

We have some quality ICS ROM's almost finished for the likes of the Desire S and Galaxy S, so I've been looking for a bootanimation.zip featuring the new Android character. You know, the droid that's half biscuit/half ice cream.
The best I found on Youtube was this:

I didn't want the logo underneath the 'droid. Any text could just say 'ICS' or 'Android 4' or something, so that it could be used with various ROM's. Or you could just have no text and just the 'droid dude.

I tell you what would be cool: a green Android eating an ice cream sandwich!
That would probably require 3D modelling software though. Not an easy task.

Yea its pretty awesome, I've been using it on my N7 and my Rezound

N7 dpi is 213 so its HDPI
Looking at some of things most of them are already possible without this. And some of them are just buzzwords to get you excited. Its a cool concept it might become something worth looking into later but right now im not too sure about it.

Exactly, I run pure CM builds so I don't have most of these tweaks added in,i it's nice to be able to flash four things in a row (rom, gapps, kernel, and this) and have everything done in one shot.
