Hi,
In order to resolve your issues, do some of these tips and tricks.
- Disable live wallpapers and widgets if your charger isn't around
- Lower the brightness to a comfortable level.
- Reduce screen time-out to minimum
- Less use on the video light during video recording
- Deactivate Samsung feature you do not use
- Kill apps using the Task Manager
- Enable Power Saving mode on your device
- Turn off all wireless connectivity such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and mobile data
- Switch auto-syncing into manual
- Reboot the device after charging to free memory
Hope you will get good feedback, regards

Check power saving options or any app that does that for you with settings screen off. Change those.
Android is notorious for bad notification. Blackberry rules that domain. For now.
Also check settings of apps that synch if they have n addition option not to synch when screen off.

^^ This - It's a feature for some apps and power saver settings..
If you have juice defender or à similar app, it can restrict connection to save battery.

I like to toggle mobile data on/off as needed and this is incredibly annoying.
Thanks .
Just go to setting>data usage, adjust the data warning line(yellow)

That's not it, the warning has nothing to do with that. It's specific to Sony devices.
Download the app elixir2 open it up and select system apps. Go to phone and select view details, scroll down to services and search for DataTrafficExceptMmsNotifier and disable iz
Thanks, worked perfectly for the notification when disabling data.
Now I just need a way of disabling this popup when data is enabled and I'll be happy.
Turning the display on is not an available action on this device. Is there any work around to use for this? Or some way to make hangouts wake the device when it receives a message?

If you use secure settings, it works fine

Hi All,
I tried all GPS Widgets available on Google Play but none seems to be functioning. Some do nothing and most of them will just open the GPS phone menu, where you have to activate GPS manually. Is there a way to turn on/off the GPS via one-click shortcut without root?
Thank you.
The simple answer is (unfortunately): No.
Just use the quick settings in pull down menu?

That's location, not GPS. There's a slight difference.

Correct, using Location from the Quick Settings does not allow to turn on GPS only without having to confirm over and over again not to allow Google access.

Thanks for the tips.
I have every single option on and I get the same screen on time as I did when I had everything disabled.
